    "Would not stay here again and would only now book Best Western as a last resort. Wish I had stayed in the Premier Inn" (108989608)

    Internet access excellent. The quality of the food I did eat was good

    Reception / Check in / Check out very slow and dis organised. Took 20 mins to check in and in even longer to fully check out TV only worked on BBC. Bathroon very small and no shower working. Room very cramped and in need of modernisation. Bathroom door would not shut. Staff where frankly useless. Tried to double charge my evening meal. Reasturant staff slow and did not know what they where doing. Took 30 mins to pay the bill and that was after I had to complain. Took 4 hours to get a VAT receipt.

    Clean & Tidy. Brightly lit corridors with a good general layout. Pleasant staff.

    No instructions for the use of the electric heater in room. Poor fitting window resulting in a significant draft. Not able to watch T.V while sitting at the dressing table.

    Location to office

    May not get a car space - I never, due to functions being held on that day. Had to park elsewhere and walk to hotel. May experience t.v. problems which can take a while for it to be sorted out.

    Standard of breakfast was a bit lower than expected, not a great choice.

    Check out staff and waiting staff very good. My room was cleaned to a satisfactory condition.

    Check in staff didn't seem to know what to do. The room was suitable, however the walls are not very thick and I could hear the TV and shower from next door.

    "This hotel is excellent value and has a very good location. I keep coming back but I always seem to have some minor problem when staying here. On the plus side, my room key card carried on working throughout my stay. Sadly, this is unusual here. " (108438275)

    I thought the staff were almost all very friendly and helpful on this occasion. I say that because that has not always been the case in my experience

    The telephone in my room did not work - did not give an outside line. To be fair, the staff offered to ring the number I wanted and transfer the call to my room.

    nicely presented hotel, clean and excellent breakfast

    check in girl had to be told our surname 5 times, rubbish shower (no power), our room and next one had a connecting door so we could hear people in room eating crisps at eleven o'clock pm, last but not least the bar was dear £3.10 for a pint of fosters pay around £2.50 at home for a better pint

    15 minute wait to check in as only one member of staff at the desk. Room a little small.

    Can walk into Altrincham town centre, large complimentary car parking and a good breakfast.

    Made an "Advance Purchase" booking so was a little suprised at check in that they hadn't taken my payment as l understood this was the terms and conditions of the booking,(maybe l didn't read it correctly?)

    Very clean. Polite cleaning staff. Waitress staff were fabulous and werethe most helpful member of staff we came across.

    Communication of reception staff poor. Welcome not as warm, as it could be. We had a parcel delivered at 3.30pm and had to ask five times whether it had arrived. Each reception staff denied knowlege of it being there. It was only when we phoned the person who had dropped it off when we were told it had been delivered. Obviously communication failure. Reception staff were the most unfriendly I have ever come across. It was as if it was 'just a job'

    Food in evening, particularly fish and chips was poor. Lack of space in room. Desk size was very small making it uncomfortable to work at.

    Room nice & warm Bed very comfortable No noise from outside or other area of hotel Trouser press & tea making facilities in room

    Room was about furthest point from reception you could get. Impossible to run a bath unless I set it running c 2 hours before I would need it/ shower pressure like light drizzle when used evening & morning-- water only about warm on both occasions showered.

    good pillows, handy location, great breakfast (except for coffee), helpful bar staff

    check in staff had no record of our booking, poky room, didn't ask if we wanted to be able to charge to our room & just assumed we didn't. knock on the door on day 2 telling us we had to check out in 5 minutes - but we were staying another 2 days. and why buy good ingredients for breakfast only to spoil it with cheap nasty coffee?

    Good location. Good breakfast. In contrast to my last stay there were some parking spaces available

    Almost every time I stay at this hotel my key card stops working after the first 24 hours and I have to go down to reception to have it renewed. Happened again this time.

    Some staff excellent especially bar manageress. Food good. Breakfast excellent.

    Some staff very poor especially the receptionists at check-out who couldn't even organise a taxi or print out boarding passes for planes. Too much confusion when people arrived over room pricing.
