    An excellent stay at this hotel, they were fantastic with dietery requirements, namely Gluten Free.

    Excellent friendly staff throughout, made our stay very enjoyable and relaxing. The food was also excellent.

    Room slightly cold in comparison to the ground floor, mostly due to the prevailing wind rattling and by-passing the window seal! There was also loud banging noise from the water pipes when taps were turned off - not unusual in a property as old as the manor!

    The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were amazing. The whole place was just fabulous. The food in the restaraunt was to die for! Absolutely superb.

    I did not dislike anything about the hotel or staff.

    opportunity to sit out in patio area. We were also treated quite inconspicuously which is our preference

    split floor of breakfast area could be a disadvantage if infirm trying to obtain cereals etc. but no major gripe

    The division walls in the room we were in ( Hotel annexe)were paper thin. One could hear every word spoken by the guests next door and their Tv woke us at 6 am each morning.An unecessary bit of bad buiding work which spoiled an otherwise lovely hotel.They reallly should do something about sound insulation inh the annexe.

    Quiet, clean,& comfortable

    Bed on a dais, up 3 steps, could be dangerous for some visitors. Annexe location acceptable, but no lock at outside door.

    Warm, cosy and pleasantly decorated and with all the necessary equipment

    No hot water in the shower or bath.After a day of a horse riding competition it was very disappointing not to have any hot water to refresh ourselves.

    Comfortable, spacious and quiet room overlooking fields at rear. Food and service was excellent.

    The noisy kids in the room above. Although a call to reception brought the noise level back to normal levels.

    nice setting, plenty of parking.

    Room not very clean, dead insects on carpets, window sills when we arrived and still there when we left. shower doors would not fully close, leaving bathroom floor very wet and slippery.

    "Charming hotel in beautiful countryside and close to market towns. The staff were friendly, helpful, and discrete. The choice of sitting room and bar were ideal for various times of the day and were well used. Good wine list and choice of beers and spirits. Meals were tasty and of a good size. Our room was a Superior and was quite large with two sets of windows. It had a large bathroom that was functional and clean. Lovely grounds although it rained the whole time we were there so we didn't get to explore." (3304599878)

    Several different rooms for guest use so we were not stuck in our room.

    Would have liked access to satellite TV stations.

    "The staff were very friendly and professional. The manor and grounds are very beautiful. The decor is tasteful and the lounge was relaxing. We stayed in the coach house with a modern room which was light and roomy. Nice sized modern shower and also a separate tub. From our room we had our own small private fenced courtyard with a table and chairs (chair cushions were located in our wardrobe). It was a wonderful experience for us that I can highly recommend to everyone." (3304416459)

    "Very tasteful decor, spotlessly clean, spacious, comfy public areas with open fires, everything for relaxation in typical country house style .Elegant dining room, open fire , good food and impeccable service ( if anything, a little too attentive for me - I have a horror of napkins being draped on my lap and am perfectly capable of pouring my own wine but others appreciate these things, I know)Breakfast was copious, varied and tasty with equally attentive service. It seems churlish to quibble, but this hotel isn't cheap, so we were a little disappointed to find our room rather small and a shower that refused to give us anything warmer than tepid water. However, we'd certainly recommend it for a relaxing and/or romantic weekend and will certainly choose it, next time we're in the area." (3304261525)

    Service,cleanliness, decor, spacious public areas, feeling of being quietly indulged,comfy bed,efficient heating created cosy temperature in snowy February, lovely,bucolic views .

    Showers. Could have provided newspaper free, considering overall price!

    Comfortable lounges. generous sized rooms.

    Lighting-poor bathroom lights made it difficult to carry out daily functions e.g wet shaving, applying make up etc.

    nice old country manor with character.

    the room was not great for a superior, poor lighting esp. the bathroom. Hotel was too quiet, needed a bit of music. Staff needed a bit more enthusiasm.

    "Lovely, rural setting, central for touring Cotswolds - many places within reasonable driving distance. Many restaurants and pubs also offering food within driving, not walking, distance. Antique shops aplenty in every village. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard. Staff are friendly and helpful: a faulty wc seat was replaced soon after we reported it." (1562008)

    Excellent food: good selections/standard. Ample parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Queen-size bed, good-size superior room.

    Road noise at front. Delivery lorries early morning under bedroom window. Insufficient drawer space.
