    Staff were very helpful, cheerful and smiley, especially the girl on the check in desk who helped with directions to the car park. She was very welcoming. Breakfast was highly recommended also.

    Not a bad point as such, however we found the choice of art above the bed in room 904 a little bizarre for a hotel room!

    "Took 30 minutes to check is, as they hadn't made a reservation. Took nearly 90 minutes to send extra towels up to the room. Tried to order room service at 2230 off the evening menu, which finished at 2300, to be transferred from front desk, operator, room service, etc for 30 minutes to place my order only to be told by the chef he's not going to do my order as he's going home early and can't be bothered to cook the food I was wanting. Wrong newspaper delivered in the morning and still charged for it. At check out was told I made a 30 minute long phone call at 0100 and was told I have to pay it, I was in bed asleep. The shower, hairdryer, and sink taps in the bathroom were all broken. Iron burns in the carpet in the room. Bed sheets came off the bed during the night. Faulty light bulbs in the room. And to top it all off I'm still waiting to hear back from a manager about my complaints " (108269964)

    dirty carpets (covered in stains, cigarette burns, and iron burns, no hair conditioner, had to climb on table to open window, very noisy outside, alot of police sirens.

    Very central. Helpful friendly staff at front desk. £85 is decent value with breakfast. Good quality firm bed. Modern bathroom.

    This hotel looks like it was designed as a budget design hotel a few years ago. The carpets (re with yellow riting) need replaceing as are filthy/dirty/worn in rooms and corridors and that really detracts from the room. Tired overall as not high quality fittings used in this hotel. Needs a refurb! The room was too hot with no means to get temperature down. If window opened it was either fully opened or it was shut and too much noise if opened! Pillows were uncomfortable. Tea making facilities hidden in wardrobe.

    The hotel is in a perfect location for easy access to the bars and shopping area. The room was nice and clean and the meal we had in the restaurant was very tasty.

    lighting over the tables at breakfast was poor, might just be Ok for dinner but not for other meals. Plastic swizel chairs were uncomfortable

    Hotel in good position, nice room and bathroom, great breakfast.

    Public areas look a bit tired and in need of refurb/redecoration. Had to pay for room up front which was a surprise, but fine. Couldn't pay at the bar after 11pm, had to go to reception, which I understand is their policy, but was a pain!

    Great place really trendy and great rooms.

    Staff would stand in a group at the reception desk whilst we were waiting to check in. The other poor lady was on the phone and rushed her call to check us in.

    Welcome pack, the views from the room, central location close to Leeds City station and the overall quality of the room were the selling points.

    Central heating system was noisy and reported a rowdy party at 3 30 am to the hotel security. The next dat the fire alarm sounded at 6 30 am! Be prepared for some sleep disruption! Meals are over priced - eat out!

    "i liked the hotel but my experience was let down by staff. good manners don’t cost anything. I am never rude to anyone as a paying customer don’t expect to be treated rudely if your staff are not happy serving customers i suggest they look for another vocation in life that does not involve dealing with the general public."     The room was very nice, it was clean and the bathroom was great- the shower very good and the design of the room was very nice.

    The staff. As me and my partner was checking in the staff was very rude to me because i asked if i could check my bag in to go shopping. She was not friendly at all. She looked at me and did not ask me to follower her then she looked and said bag with a face on like this was to much trouble. I asked if the bags would be taken up to the room as she wanted me to just leave them at the side of the desk with lots of other bag. She stated in a not very nice way no there be put in a store room. Also the breakfast was cold.

    Staff very helpful

    Fridge. mini bar in room did not work, was reported but not replaced.Had to ask for toiletries,tea and coffee , only enough for 1 person. Cooked breakfast had obviously been there since breakfast started serving, unappetising to say least. Items added to bill from mini bar, which was not used had to request removal from bill twice.

    Clean.... decent food.

    I was imformed that i had made a double booking and that i needed to cancel one of them. So i authorised the cancellation. When we arrived at 20:00 hrs we found that our entire reservation had indeed been canceled .As you may imagine this was very embarassing for myself. After much ado the hotel managed to fit us in..... Then to add to our troubles the hotel machine rejected both of my meastro cards and i was left with no choice but allow my fiance to pay (not happy) I went to the Natwest nearby the day after and all my cards where fine. Aslo surprisingly most of the staff including the receptionist that checked us in spoke very poor english. It was like being in europe!!! Not Leeds. Thankyou.

    Was impressed with the simplicity of the decor, very comfortable room

    I could hear fellow guests in their rooms, toilets flushing, tv's, doors banging etc.
