    "I felt I could recommend to someone else. Thought I might be disturbed by air traffic noise but this was not the case." (108769339)

    Receptionist was new to the job but she had a pleasant manner and was extremely helpful.

    Generally cleanliness was good but there was dark hair stuck to the tiling on the shower wall.

    Room rate very low compared to other hotels. Don't let this put you off staying here! Evening meal top quality and A1 service. Breakfast self service but very good food.

    "First time visit to a De Vere Hotel, if this is the standard then we will use other hotels in the group when we are on our travels. It was really pleasant to be made to feel welcome and that the staff actually did care about our stay. Thank you" (107498276)

    The staff were really on the ball, friendly and helpful. Food was good, especially breakfast. Liked the easy layout of the hotel and the size of the room - we didn't feel at all crammed in as we have with other hotels. Will definitely be staying there again.

    TV was too small to watch from any distance. Could be replaced with wall mounted LCD screen and freeview channels. This would also create more space on the dressing table.

    Staff were friendly & helpful, restaurant was good, room spacious with plenty of storage - impressed by use of bathsheets rather than ordinary bath towels found in other similar priced hotels we have stayed in. Tea and coffe facilities excellent.

    Very small television in room, no bedside table and lamp on one side of double bed - an important point should both occupants wish to read in bed!

    The bar/restaurant didn't have much to offer vegetarians.

    I liked: 1) the coffee / drinking water being available at any time 2) the ample parking 3) the quietness of the location 4) friendly and helpful staff

    The staff were friendly helpful and a pleasure to deal with, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast very good. When I complained to staff about a problem they were very quick to do something about it.

    The pillows in my room were dreadful.

    The staff could not do enough for you. We missed breakfast on our check out day. However, they went out of their way to make us it and ensure we were happy. Fantastic service

    Breakfast finished at 9am. A bit of noise from the airport (planes flying overhead. Never disturbed our sleep though.

    "Despite being almost under the flight path for the airport the double glazing works well with little noise. Breakfast (included in our price) was very good.     Good sized room with everything we required.

    The standard of furnishings etc. was not particularly high for a four star but bearing in mind what we paid it was more than adequate.

    "Excellent easy to find hotel on out of town development with parking included. Good sized room, comfortable bed and bathroom shower was excellent as well. Breakfast was quick and easy and all staff encountered could not be more helpful/pleasant to deal with. Booking via internet was straightforward and confirmation immediate.Bargain rate as well which rivalled the nearby Premier Inn for price but with a much better quality of hotel/facilities."     Excellent sized room with nice touches such as tea/coffee and bottled water.

    Little too hot but wouldnt open window as airport/main road near so would be noisy.

    "I was pleasantly surprised by the very good renovation of the property and the overall cleanliness. As a transit stop enrote to Manchester Airport to catch a flight to Singapore I found the hotel easy to reach and from there the airport was similarly easy to access. Overall I thought that Cheadle House represented excellent value for money." (97137376)
