    we arrived early to just leave our bags at the hotel before sightseeing-our room was not ready, as we expected, however we were upgrade free of charge which was fantastic.

    Staff were excellent and responded quickly and efficiently to requests. The dining staff were efficient and profesional whilst being friendly and approachable.

    Bathroom could have done with a little attention to tap, door etc and one morning we woke to no water.

    Exceptional service by all staff. Attentive, good sense of humor, professional, and accommodating. Good, central location. Food is delicious and large in portion.

    "Overall the Hotel is very good and its location near to Grafton Street and Temple Bar made it very easy to get access to Dublins night life/ shopping and loads of restaurants. The Hotel is very clean and the room was very comfortable, so we couldnt complain about anything really. The brekfast was cooked to order, it was first class. The only point i would make, is that i thought the cost of the Hotel was a little pricey." (107686716)

    "I stayed in the hotel following minor surgery, so needed somewhere quiet and comfortable in the city centre. Brooks fit the bill perfectly in this regard. I felt a little let down by breakfast, but overall I was happy with the premises." (108083450)

    Clean comfortable room, well equipped, lots of space. A Pillow menu! Staff very friendly. Hotel surroundings very pleasant & clean

    Breakfast was not as good as I would expect from a 4* hotel - long wait, overcooked food served on cold plate, coffee & toast served separately from cooked food and were not terribly hot either.

    Lovely Hotel, and staff, Lovely food . .. but . . see below . . .

    My Husband (In the restaurant) had a VERY small fillet of fish which would not fill a child, and the vegetables were extra, which we expected as all part of the meal. My Lamb was also very nice, but the vegetables, I think should be part of the meal, rather than an extra.

    "Hotel is in an ideal location. We booked an upgraded room but the only benefit was a DVD machine!The bar area is nice and they have a great guest services room free internet etc. The breakfast was very slow due to everything being cooked to order but the food it's self was very good. Would'nt stay again down to the cost of the hotel." (97962206)

    Great location

    Room was best described as ok. The bathroom could have been cleaner and the checking in at reception was slow.

    Night time noise from street , may be due to being on 1st floor, would benefit from double glazing. Or should have had higher floor accomodation.

    I have stayed at Brooks before and find it very comfortable and convenient.

    Brooks must be the only hotel i have ever stayed in where they refuse to change travellers cheques, i had to catch a tram as i didn't have enough cash for a taxi.

    Hotel has a nice atmosphere, we have stayed in the hotel many tines before and will return again.

    One dislke we have and have had on other occassions in the hotel is The the bar staff are extremely slow and not particularly friendly in comparison withe the rest of the hotel staff.

    "Excellent for carparking and central for shopping and just 5 mins walk to temple bar. Staff very helpful anf friendly. Breakfast was lovely with an extensive range of food. Refurbishment taking place upstairs but unobtrusive. Deluxe room was spacious. Carpet could do with being replaced.(Maybe that will be part of the refurb) Other furnishings and decor were nice. I would prefer a duvet to the out dated blankets. Very good value for the rate on the night we stayed." (97181853)

    "My friend & I chose Dublin to spend our Christmas break. It was definitely a good choice of hotel, very well located in the city centre. We enjoyed our stay, especially Christmas Lunch in the restaurant. Very well organised and food was excellent. Compliments to the Chef. Staff were lovely as well. Would like to visit again."     "The room was ok. It felt tight with 2 adults and 2 small kids. Staff was nice, breakfast was average. But it is a bit pricey for what you get. If they would come down on price it would be a perfect hotel for Dublin." (97096003)

    "Staff were excellent - helpful, friendly and provided service with a smile. Our flight was late on the night we checked out, but the hotel looked after our bag while we went sight seeing until the evening.     "Having stayed in many Dublin hotels previously, I was aware that they do not come cheap, but at least with this one you felt like you got your money's worth. Lovely hotel with warm and friendly staff in excellent location - just 5 minutes walk from Grafton Street and Temple Bar. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the breakfast was superb. The only negative was the noise outside during the night, but I suppose that's the price you pay for being in the city centre. Overall - fantastic and we would definitely stay again." (99293013)

    Was on what appeared to be a quiet street, but it came to life after midnight, and there was a lot of noise from outside until about 3am.

    Everything about the hotel was excellent, from start to finish,superb,friendly and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was a joy to eat!! The location was perfect for night life and shopping, all within 5 minutes walking distance. We will be back for sure.

    "From the very outset the staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The hotel itself and our room was spotless and very welcoming on the eye.     During the evening the staff called at the door of the room to turn down the bed 3 times and asked if they could. It would be better if they automatically defer if the client is still in the room. This is a minor point and they were polite.

    Not your fault, but like everywhere in Ireland there are no facilities for smokers. This is why I usually go abroad now.

    My room was on the first floor just above the kitchen at the back of the hotel - probably because I had asked for a smoking room - which meant quite noisy and kitchen odours to mingle with tobacco smoke! The kettle still had water from the previous guest(s) which was rather off putting (smell)!

    Everything was wonderful! Close proximity to all locations, Friendliness of the staff, and all the creature comforts of the room, including a pillow menu and multiple daily turn down services.

    Waiting for a night gaurd to unlike the main entry door if coming back late at night/early morning.
