    El hotel estaba muy limpio, el servicio era bueno y funcionaba bien la calefacción y otros elementos. El desayuno estaba bien, al menos tenía algo de variedad. Limpiaban a diario a conciencia.

    El baño es prefabricado, la ducha está pegada al váter y da sensación de falta de higiene además de ser pequeño. Pero al menos estaba limpio. No había ascensor, aunque se comprende por ser un edificio antiguo.

    Basic but extremely clean. Staff friendly and pleasant.

    Poor quality breakfast - cheap sliced ham and sliced processed cheese on a cling film covered plate just out of the freezer. For breakfast? Yuk! After the first morning, we just didn't bother.

    our room was excellent. comfortable beds, possibilities for tea and coffee. Bathroom and toilet were clean. Also our room and beds. It was a good fresh air inside. The windows were opened before our arrive. The breakfast was good, not so much choice...but good.

    The shower didn't give warm water, only cold. We forgot to tell the staff.

    The staff were very welcoming and the location was superb

    Shower water and toilet stank of sewage, windows facing main road were far too thin! Extremely noisey. Bedroom had a foul and old smell to it and finally asked for a double room but was given a twin! Luckily the clerk changed our room!

    Price, clean hotel, location

    When I came to check in my key was handed out to some girls taking photos.... so I had to waitfor it (at 5PM) No change present when I should pay by cash, was told to go to a shop and change!!!!!!!!!When I came up the stairs to my room the air was full of cannabis smoke from the room beside mine, told the reception and got the answer "it's smells good though" nothing was done at all. Went out for a walk and when I came back it was a sign on the door "back in 5 minutes".....took 10 mins waiting. Told reception I need to check out at 7AM but the same 5 mins sign was up even at 7AM so I had to wait.

    Very convenient ,very low cost for a london hotel .good breakfast . fast and simple . ideal for a tourist or to put yoir head down for the night

    No the Ritz ,but staff helpful .Room Ok but what to you expect in central London for £40 for a double . Would be happy to stay there again.

    Very large room all facilities. Despite first appearances bed linen, towels etc were very clean.

    Decor looked tired, could do with a refurb especially the bathroom.

    Room was clean. Breakfast was fine.

    VERY cold at night - heating did not work, and there were no extra blankets. Also, the shower was blocked and flooded the bathroom; we had to unblock it ourselves.

    Location is very good, and for the money it's a reasonable place to stay. We ended up with two single beds instead of a double bed that we had booked- wasn't too happy about that.

    Ever read The Mouse and the Motorcycle? Ralph came to visit our garbage can the first night through a large gap under the door. A towel under the door the next two nights solved that little problem.

    linen was filthy, yellow rings in colour on the duvet. put me off eating breakfast there. felt handing the key in at reception before going anywhere was inappropriate. they should have more than the one key.

    Lack of storage place for clothes. Inadequate hangers and no draw space. Courtyard view very poor. Courtyard dirty and unkempt. Breakfast mediocre. There is no vegetarian option.

    When we left

    The room was poky, the bathroom was horrible. I have stayed in cheap and cheeful before, but this was overpriced for what you got.

    Clean comfortable room, friendly desk staff, willingness to attend to problems in a congenial manner. Proximity to Paddington Station a plus.

    No assistance to get luggage down steep narrow curved staircase - need a dumb waiter! No clock in room. No wake-up call as requested - ended up rushing around in the morning in order to get breakfast leftovers. However, staff did their best to make us happy.

    Breakfast was far better than many hotels I have stayed. Lots of milkfor coffee which was great too, and own little area for smoking outside.
