    "Fantastic setting and overall quality and cleanliness was very good. The best part to me was the food, both the choice and the taste. And the value. Highly reccomended." (108622566)

    The quality of the food was excellent, the overall service was very good and the hotel was very clean. WiFi access was also easy and very helpful.

    Only really one bad point, my kettle didn't work so i asked the lady on the desk around 8pm. She told me she would send someone up as soon as possible. They never ever came.

    The receptionis Kay was super, very helpful & smiling. We did request to change rooms as the first room was over looking a mess, it was no problem to change rooms & we got a better view.

    The rooms were very basic, very travel lodge. The bed was lumpy & the look of the room at first glance was not impressive.

    Poor management of restaurant. A table booked hours before was not "ready" 20 minutes after the reserved time, even though the restaurant was only under 50% occupied. Food is poorly cooked (three visits confirm this), and restaurant staff are poorly managed or inexperienced.

    Lovely view - very comfortable

    Was disappointed that no internet was available - this was the main reason for selecting the Queensferry and I felt a bit put out that despite being advertised, none was available - was an inconvenience and further expense down the road.

    Good size room. Everything clean. Carparking excellent.

    Staff were not in evidence at breakfast when I arrived or for at least ten minutes afterwards. I had to track them down to ask for tea and order a cooked breakfast. My son, who arrived a little later didn't have the chance to order anything. In the evening, my 18 year old son wanted a glass of tap water. Someone was cashing up at the bar, but another couple had been served. My son waited in front of the staff member for five minutes and was completely ignored.

    The room was clean. Hotel clean. In a fantastic position next to forth bridge.

    Don't like the TV set up, should have freeview or sky. The service in the restaurant was better this time, but last time it was terrible.

    Comfortable and clean hotel, easy to find with a fine view over the River Forth

    Poor bar/restaurant service and the central heating turned off early in the evening.

    "Overall, were very happy with the standard of accommodation and food was lovely. The location is ideal by being so close to the bridge and motorway for going north or south. Although the service of the staff was rather changable,(this was probably due to there not being many on duty during the evening), would still definitely use this hotel again." (97258834)

    Excellent room, nice to have a proper 3 bed room. Quality of bathroom was excellent.

    A little disappointed with service in restaurant, we were left for quite some time waiting to order deserts snd coffee. In the end we went up to ask. The service at times was excellent and at others was totally lacking.

    Close to Edinburgh Airport.

    The room was clean and in excellent order.

    Drafty window, the shower head was faulty, spraying water onto the floor whilst in use. The breakfast we recieved was cold and in my opinion definatly not worth

    "Firstly nothing was mentioned about the substantial refurbishment taking place in the hotel. We booked a double bed, and got two singles put together, this is very uncomfortable. The toilet seat was broken and fell off, there was no information in the room regarding the hotel facilities, and the tv info was not working properly. There was mildew on the walls and ceiling of the en suite and the shower curtain was hanging off a couple of hooks on the day we arrived, and still like that on the day we left, even though housekeeping had serviced the room. the bedside cabinet bottom drawer was broken, and unable to close. The doors are not soundproofed and the noise from the corridor kept us awake into the small hours." (99940754)

    Room was a nice size and the king-size bed was impressive. Staff were nice. Good view.

    Very dated decor, facilities (eg shower), although in fairness the hotel was undergoing a refurb.

    View from our window was into the back of the conservatory.
