    "Deeply unhappy and unsatisfied and will be seeking some compensation from customer relations, after having a total of 6-6 and a half hours sleep over two nights. if there had been any indication of the events being held at the hotel on the website, we would not have booked to stay there.     The night manager did everything he could to make our stay more bearable.

    Noise. Karaoke on first night, disco on second. Building not sufficiently soundproofed for events finishing at 2am. The rooms were very unclean (we changed rooms for the second night because of the noise) and the smoke detector in the second room didn't work.

    Staff were very helpful

    Room was tired, no draws to put any clothes in, no fridge, generally a bit shabby and a tiny bath !

    Bit of an attitude at breakfast one day as there were only a few people in the hotel and the girl serving told me that. I thought that was not appropriate and said well I'm staying here and paying. It was as if it was my problem that the hotel was empty

    "I stayed at this hotel meeting a group on business, as we meet here and use the facilities I will be staying here again. However personally, if my purpose was for leisure then I would not stay here again. " (107729307)

    overall the staff are friendly and very helpful, the room and hotel were clean. great complimentary facilities, free parking.

    meals/bar/snacks are very expensive and were not of good quality. while you expect to pay a bit extra staying in a hotel these prices were more in line with what you would expect to pay at a 5 star hotel. The toilets in the bar where smelly.

    "oK FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY" (107953247)

    Good outside appearance an adequate parking. GOod location.

    In need of a deep clean. The sink would not drain and on taking out the plug it was completely clogged with human hair. The bed throw had white stains - very off putting! The wardrobe was too short for long clothes to hang properly. THE SHOWER HEAD WAS WORN AND THE EXTRACTOR FAN VERY NOISEY.

    Good spa

    Very poor bed. Dipped in the middle, like sleeping on a trampoline! Unable to show us a menu in reception and the restaurant had a wedding on until the evening so we could not decide whether to book a tableb as we did know what was on offer.

    Rooms were of a good size with adequate space for storage of 2 suitcases. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

    Little to no ventilation in bathroom caused a "mouldy, musty" smell

    "Terrible. If you are going here, make sure there are no weddings being held. In the evening, there were drunken people everywhere. Someone thought it fun to set off the fire alarms at 3:30am and again at 4:00am which resulted in all guests spending 30 minutes in the car park, some families with small children, etc. Not the fault of the hotel, I accept, but it does give you an idea of the kind of people who were staying there.     Breakfast service was poor. Had to keep asking for things not there, example - was given UHT milk for tea (did not get it replaced despite asking), asked for strong tea and was given "dishwater". Had to look for staff, even at reception.

    Quick and efficient. Functional hotel room.

    Weekend business for the hotel is "marriage receptions" which equates to noisey guests. Also cost of breakfast appears too expensive.

    Breakfast not included and too pricey to take as an option, as indeed is the Restaurant in general which has to be a mistake as the loaction is full of Eateries in competition. Bar is like a Pub rather than a hotel Bar

    "I thought it was overpriced at £140 per night. I was disappointed that whilst full english breakfast was due to be served at 6.30 I went for breakfast at 6.45 and the staff had only just started to bring the food out and even then all that was available was bacon, sausage and tomato. I was also disappointed that the hotel offers a service for if you forget toiletries to contact reception and when I asked about toothpaste was told there was a tesco down the road. Having stayed at Corus hotels before and generally had a good experience I am afraid to say that this vist was not brilliant and thankfully was only for one night." (97794539)

    The bed was comfortable, room service was good, and location wise it was perfect for my requirements

    The traffic noise disturbed my sleep - no double glazing, and the hotel decor is generally in need of a refurb.

    Most of it. Room in bad state of repair - bathroom very poor Facilities were covered but insubstantial- continual re swipe of entry card,overcharged for wine I did not consume . Bar food was good for the price, resturant adequate very poor service

    Typical business hotel, comfortable but uninspiring. Excellent coffee - all three varieties - and food good value

    The staff were pleasant and helpfull.

    Thr rooms were old and grotty, the beds were very springy and old not good for your back! No porter service and no trolley for the luggage. The breakfast was very poor and expensive for dried up bacon over cooked eggs and watered down beans!!

    Only the staff. I asked to change rooms two times. The rooms were very run down. I settled for room three but still was not satisfied.

    The hotel rooms were in very poor shape. I will not stay at this hotel again & have shared my experience with others.

    Conveniently situated near the motorway for family gathering in Solihull. Easy parking. The swimming pool was lovely and the gym adequate.

    The building was in need of renovation.

    Facilities were very good and staff lovely

    The booking process was confusing as you took credit card details at the time of booking and yet the transaction was not made at this time, so full payment was required on checking out! I booked for my dad so he was a tad confused! I think it could have been made clerer that the credit card details were not a payment but a secure reservation. Thanks

    The staff were wonderful - travelling with a young child is hard however the staff (kitchen, reception, facilities, swimming pool) all made it very simple

    The hotel is looking tired and worn and obviously in need of decoration. Additionally the cost saving measures e.g. the tracing paper like toilet paper just makes the experience worse than it should be.

    Easy to get to from Airport, fair price, excellent restaurant and OK beer

    The number of glasses or cups in the room. Only 1 (one) cup seems a little to poor (easy to fix). A more comfortable chair in the room would be appreciated.

    It was good value for money at the reduced rates. I wouldn't like to have paid full price for the room. Good to have leisure facilities (pool etc)

    "Any hotel that has function rooms in the same corridor as bedrooms, with parties that go onto 1.30 / 2.00 a.m cannot possibly offer a good nights rest. Although we asked for a no smoking room they do not have any and the whole place smelt heavily of smoke.
