    I was extremely dispointed that on our second day the room was not cleaned or the bed made, in fact no one had been anywhere near it. Very dusty curtains.

    I do not see how our room was missed for cleaning.

    Very good room with all facilities required.

    Restaurant menu limited and some dishes unavailable - also thought it was quite pricey for the quality.

    Friendly and convenient. Helpful friendly staff. Availability of late night snack.

    Fire escape internal staircase not too clean. Breakfast finishes too early.

    nice big rooms and clean

    The hotel had entertainment on on the Friday night which included a carvery meal, however if you didn't fancy the carvery there was nothing else available, also the breakfasts were a bit steep at £10 per person

    Decor was poor with rain soaked ceiling poorly repaired and not painted. Light above sink did not work, shower dirty. Asked for a quiet room and was given a noisy room due to party.

    Very clean hotel with friendly staff. The hotel had good facilities and the rooms were well equipped. For the room size and quality it was good value for money.

    Bar was often unattended and we had to wait for the receptionist to finish what they were doing before getting a drink. Also a cashpoint and snack machine may have been adequate.

    "Waste of money and i would never call anybody but that room was a disgrace i will be putting in a formal complaint. " (107528096)

    The room i stayed in was a disgrace, £80 for a Superior Suite and end up with a tacky double room.I expected the room to be in a modern decor instead there was rips in the chairs ciggy burns on the floor. absolute disgrace, consided on asking for my money back completely appauled by the state of the room. would of been better to stay in a travel lodge for 2 days for near enough the same price. and the decor is more acceptable there and the staff.

    "Had to change rooms at 12.40 am as the roof was leaking and bed was soaked. Hotel was full and was given a room that had been taken out of service because of badly stained carpet. Staff were very good though and very apologetic and we were not charged for the accomodation." (107401055)

    The breakfast was excellent and the bar was nice

    When we arrived the receptionist could'nt find our booking and said we could'nt have made a reservation. I had printed off our confirmation advice from yourselves and showed it her as proof. She was very abrupt and then said we were lucky as had a room at the back still available. When my partner asked was it an ok room she was very short with him and gave hiom a dirty look which was pretty unacceptable

    Friendly reception staff. Helpful with directions and booking taxis. Friday night entertainement in restaraunt / function lounge.

    45 minute wait for sandwiches ordered in bar. Bed quite uncomfortable. Not many television channels. No fridge in room.

    LARGE BUT QUIET HOTEL WITH ALL THAT IS NEEDED FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY.

    BAR MEALS POOR CHOICE AND NOT BEING ABLE TO EAT BEFORE 7.15 IN THE BAR AREA DUE TO OTHER FUNCTIONS??

    "I have stayed here once before and complained about the cleanliness back then. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try this hotel again but we will not be staying there for a 3rd time. The cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired." (97709905)

    The restaurant and bar were quite nice and breakfast was nice.

    The room was very tired and the bathroom was dirty. The curtains in the room were also dirty and the window did not stay open properly. The room also smelled quite strongly of drains when we first arrived (hence trying to keep the window open).

    Had to change original room offered as it overlooked a noisy airconditioning fan and pies etc on flat roof. It was a hot day and not possible to have windows open because of fan. However room was changed without any bother. Problems with food service in the bar - staff not very attentive, then had to change choice twice after given order - things not avaiable but worst point was we waited 45 mins for meal to be served.s

    Extractor fan not working in bathroom, mould around bath seal. Only one set of towels left on second day.

    Staff were very helpfull and courtious.

    The bath room could do with a make over, the taps difficult to adjust and the toilet would not flush properly. The flush mechanisum was loose.

    "First room I was shown - carpet hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner ! Second room had broken window which wouldn't close & telephone that didnt work, and again 'bits' on carpet - although to a lesser extent than first room ! Third room was a superior room - much bigger / better located however again hygiene / cleanliness issues as when I went to use toilet I discovered it hadnt been flushed - raising the point that obviously it hadn't been cleaned !     Reception acted promptly to problems. Superior rooms at back of hotel very quiet. Good location for M62.

    I viewed 3 rooms which all had a problem with hygiene / cleanliness.

    The layout of the single room was OK. Plenty of hot water, good shower. Availability of tea and coffee. Bed was comfortable.

    The side panel of the bath was very dirty and had not been cleaned for a considerable length of time. Clenliness generaly left something to be desired. There was obviously a leak from the shower behind the bath at some time which had been repaired but the panel had not been restated properly. The carpets on the stairs were worn and threadbare. The reception was grim and the decor around it was unkempt.

    "Overall the hotel seemed to be very well run. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. There was a wedding party going on, but the staff were attentive to us on our arrival. Our room was upgraded so it was definately good value for money. The room was clean, well decorated with a tv, phone, hair dryer,hospitality tray and toiletries. We enjoyed relaxing in the bar during the afternoon, having a meal and a few drinks. We would be happy to stay there again if we visit the area in the future." (97784609)

    "The stay was satisfactory. Basically I was only at the Hotel to sleep, leaving the room quite early in the morning. One thing I would change is to increase some other interesting TV (normal) channels to the existing line up for the late sleepers." (97369711)

    The peaceful atmosphere was brilliant!

    I wasn't able to have a beer before leaving the Hotel on Sunday morning. (Bar opens at noon)

    Simple, clean, functional

    Reception staff offered to get me a taxi - completely useless! I had to call them myself in the end...
