    Great value hotel in a central location with friendly staff who recommended some goods places to visits.Room was excellent.

    Hotel car park was full when we arrived so had to park approx 300 yards away in a public car park. Uncertainity whether car was safe or not.

    "Good value hotel, noise from generator/air con was annoying but after a while didn't seem to notice it so much - will ask for a side room next time though! Bad smell from bathroom - reported it and was told it would be looked into but was probably drains (another guest on the floor below had reported the same)." (108393982)

    Well presented hotel in central location. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Pleasant room with comfy bed. Good meals from bar attached to hotel. Hotel had own car park (although limited room, luckily we managed to get the last remaining spot)

    Noise from generator/air conditioning unit at the back of the hotel at all times. Bad smell from bathroom, like someone in the next room was smoking and the smell had come through to our room.

    breakfast on Sunday morning checked into dinning room advised to take a seat and help my self to the full slection of cearals etc , but never asked if i would like to have tea/ coffee or toast, the same also happened to another guest who jointed me for his breakfast. Whilst on monday moring checked in again this time the girls on shift where more than helpfull by asking if i would like tea / cooffe etc.

    Central location.

    I was not there as a tourist, but had I have been, there was a complete lack of information available in the room. The was also a lack of information regarding the hotel and the facilities it offered - even down to basics - how to book an early morning call etc.... We had a meal in the Bistro Bar - should we return we will definetly NOT bve eatong there again!!

    Rooms were of a good standard and clean. We ate at the hotel bar on both nights and were very pleased with the quality and value.

    Staff in the bar were fairly busy and service was a bit slow but they were friendly and helpful when you got their attention.

    la personne responsable de l'accueil au salon "breakfast" aurait besoin d'apprendre à sourire et à se montrer aimable. son manque de courtoisie gâche en partie la bonne opinion qu'on peut avoir de cette hôtel. surtout lorsqu'on sait que le breakfast est en supplément du prix de la chambre... une meilleure isolation des canalisations s'avère nécessaire...

    All the main attractions are within easy walking distance.

    Exceptionally poor selection for breakfast. Tables not cleared, had to ask for butter, jam, croissant, toast and yoghurt. Breakfast was a shambles.

    The hotel is situated in an area which suits my husband and myself. The rooms are clean and tidy. We were impressed with the security arrangement, which meant that the lift could only be activated with the room door card, preventing anyone from just entering off the street and roaming the floors.

    On this occasion none. We didnt stay B&B however as on our last visit we found the breakfast to be poor.

    Very central to everything and no need to use the car all weekend. Clean and well equipped. Bed more comfortable than other hotels who major on very hard mattresses.

    Sound proofing could be better and perhaps leaflets in the rooms giving details of dailling information to contact hotel staff.We had a very unpleasant experience on our 2nd night when a large drunken party came back to the room next to our and for three hours shouted, sang, argued, banged on doors. we didn't know who to contact at 2am and who was on duty, if anyone. So we had no sleep between 2am and 5am.

    Bright clean hotel. Breakfast room well managed. Good value breakfast. Underground car park very convenient.

    Not allowed to check in at 12.30pm. Friend checked in at 12.45pm!

    "Really enjoyed our stay in Derry. Staff were very helpful and everyone friendly. We had a very early flight and were allowed to book in early which was extremely welcome as it allowed us the chance to take a breather and offload luggage. We really valued being so close to the places of interest to us such as the murals and city wall. We could see the hotel from everywhere which was quite reassuring. Would definitly visit again."     Hotel right on 'the diamond'. Great views over the 'bogside'. Right beside the 'walls', with an entrance {on to the walls} close by also.

    The carpark is not signposted {up a 1-way street saying 'no entry', at the side of the building}. Too small also, about 12 spaces, and the hotel has 80 rooms! Also the remotew didn't work, the lifts were broken..alternately. The handtowel rail was broken, and one of the metal tie backs was broken also.

    Amateurish approach of hotel staff and facilities. Bedlinen and toiletries not great quality - sometimes heating did not work and had to ask for blanket which was not in the room in the middle of winter

    "I feel we were racially discriminated on because three of the four of us were black. I dont know the criteria they chose to say who was not going to stay at the hotel because when we came for dinner at about 7pm there was a couple checking in but we were told at about 230pm that they overbooked."     I had booked two double rooms, it was my friend's birthday so I decided to suprise her with a night at the Tower hotel. When we got there we were told that they hotel is full they had to put in another hotel. We were not told what hotel it was, the receptionist called a taxi for us to go to the hotel which they said was five minutes walk. I was furious, I especially booked Tower hotel because it had the facilities we wanted to use, swimming pool, gym and I we were going to have dinner in the hotel as part of the birthday treat. We were put in Travelodge, a 3 star and paid the same amount of money. There was no swimming pool and no gym, it was as good as going to a bed and breakfast. I was so disappointed that I am not going to book and hotel breaks with you or ever going to stay in Tower Hotel. I am also going to make sure people know what kind of services are offered by your website and Tower Hotel. We were offered complimentary dinner (in the bar!) and complimentary continental breakfast. Two of my friends didnt bother to go for breakfast because of the distance between the hotels. I was so dissapointed. Next time its better to ring and say the hotel is full so that other arrangements can be made.

    "It was very difficult to access the hotel and then we were told that there was no parking spaces and to go to a car park. We had no idea where the car park was and staff were not very helpful informing us. We had to ask a traffic warden who went on to say that it wasn't a very good idea parking outside overnight. The staff were very unfriendly and not at all helpful. The hairdryer fell off in my hands and by using it without the head I ended up with a very warm/burnt hand. I found my stay to be very disappointing." (97964606)

    The accomodation was very clean and easy accessed, the staff were obliging and helpful. The food we had in the hotel was very very good.

    the only thing I could say was the shower head could have been cleaner, large amount of limescale etc.
