    The only bad points - bed under single bed was uncomfortable, my 9 yr old slept very badly. It would have also been nice to have some more tea and sugar in room, evening cup and morning cup of tea.

    Very pleasant and helpful staff. They enjoyed trying out their English as much as we did our French. Lovely selection of hors d'oeuvres and desserts, also good wine. The beds were very comfortable. The restaurant was clean and well decorated.

    We find all Campanile rooms a bit small, and this one was no exception. Although tasty, our meal of duck, cooked 3 ways, was a bit tough.

    chambre un peu trop petite. pas assez de chauffage pour un mois de décembre avec des températures négatives ! obligé de rester en manteau dans la chambre...!!!

    Nice, clean room, room tidied and clean towels every day. Easy to find on the outskirts of town.

    preference to be roomed at the front; a new building is being constructed at the rear so building noise from early morning.

    "Travelling to Bordeaux 3 or 4 times a year, as a male group, to watch sporting events, we have stayed in numerous hotels in the area. For a 2* hotel this is the best one yet. We have tried to book this hotel for the last two years but have not been successful until this year. We now know why. The staff speak excellent English, they are extremely helpful, the accommodation is very clean with excellent bathroom, tea and coffee in the room, which you do not get in a lot of other 2* hotels. The restaurant was excellent for the lunch and breakfast we had there. The carpark is secure, being locked at 11.00pm, and we were able to gain access via the security coded gates at 2.45am. The six of us will definately be returning to this hotel in the future." (99889264)

    "Convenient accommodation. Have stayed here on a number of occasions, including many of our family and friends. Know what to expect friendly staff, good food, good parking. Good value for money." (99740818)

    Easy to find. Car parking area. Good food. Friendly staff. Was able to make a hot drink in the room i.e tea coffee and biscuit.Would have liked more than two milks and maybe one or two extra tea bags as one of the tea bags was a herbal one out of the two. Nice clean linen and towels were supplied.

    Nothing much to complain about other than some noisy neighbours quite late - decided to take a bath - which seemed to go on for quite a long time. Can't fault the hotel for that.

    It was fine, the check in took sometime because there was only one person working both in the restaurant and the check in counter, i had come in late around 10:30pm

    the rooms next to the gardens should be equipped with some sort of windows with nets so no bugs come in

    "The hotel is exactly what it states - basic accomodation with good access to main travel routes. The only problems I had were any questions I had could not be answered by the receptionist at check in due to translation problems." (3304722606)

    No frills, no interuptions. Total peace and quiet.

    No fridge in the room, and no access to the internet to check mail.
