    we also stayed at Campanille Pessac, Bordeaux - this was fine as far as accomodation was concerned but it took us an hour to find the hotel once arriving at Pessac.

    personnel charmant et attentionné. Politesse et amabilité de rigueur , tellement rare de nos jours , que c'est a souligner trés bonne qualité de literie hotel bien insonorisé, bien chauffé ( climatisation reversible) restauration trés correcte pour le soir large choix de plats

    Déco un peu désuete pour les chambres Les TV sont un peu hors d'age et ne fonctionne pas trés bien

    Matériel pas bien entretenu : impossibilité de prendre une douche le mati (clapet permettant de passer du robinet à la douche cassé) restauration très moyenne : buèffet de hors d'oeuvres peu varié ainsi que les plats proposés

    Very clean, quiet, cosy and well equipped room.

    Only slight disadvatage is that rooms are in separate building from the reception and restuarant in a motel style. However, I found this a minor inconvenience only in adverse weather.

    "This is a budget hotel,on the edge of a shopping park, offering simple accomodation. However, the obliging staff,very clean room and good service made for a pleasant stay. Convenient for the airport and an ideal base for touring in most directions, without having to encounter city traffic." (3305360141)

    Friendly, efficient staff. Clean, comfortable room. Convenient location. Good value.

    Busy roads nearby but our request for a quiet room was carried out, so traffic noise was not particularly noticeable.

    "It was convenient for the local airport at Roumanieres. Nice dining room and good food. Only problem we had to pull two heavy suitcases up to the first floor! No help, no lift! Some noise from the traffic on the road nearby." (2168450)

    "The accommodation was of excellent standard, it was very modern and very clean, although the rooms were quite small. The staff were very friendly but spoke little English, but they understood the basics required. The hotel was located in the middle of an out of town shopping complex and not near to the town as the information said it was, as the town was approximately 10-15minutes away by taxi. The shopping complex had a large supermarket and various other shops, which were very handy as they were close by. If I were to travel to Bergerac again I would probably book a hotel closer to the town centre, but overall though the hotel was very pleasant to stay in." (1662014)

    Easy to find, good parking, clean

    no hairdryer and only enough tea/coffee for one drink.
