    Good appearance and kept Clean. Staff was friendly and and then their best to assist with any queries.

    Should have a small fridge in the room. Breakfast hours should be made longer until 11am.

    Great front of house staff and waiter in the restaurant.

    Terrible food in the restaurant and very expensive - in fact I still think that I might have been over prices! It is what gives British food such a bad name - almost inedible and a complete waste of money.

    Functional and clean

    Radiator in room did not work. Lack of hooks in room - eg for outdoor wear and in bathroom, towel rail once towels used. Location was rather intimitdating

    It was warm and dry and clean

    When I first arrived the room I was allocated had not been cleaned. There was problems with the door keys, on the second day they didn't work. The room where breakfast was served was cold.

    "Size of room disappointing, difficult if not impossible to work out of. Little air in the room. Hotel bar was more like a foyet meeting room than a bar." (97412323)

    It was very central for the city, however the nearby bars a worth a miss!

    Room was small and cramped and had a view over a council flats where kids hung around on the rooves at night so you couldnt really open the window

    "i would have expected the room to be a little more comfortable, the beds were very saggy with one very poor pillow. the noise from the ring road was excessive for a modern building which should conform fully to part L of the building regs. checking facilities and maintenance was not obviously a high priority."     Staff friendliness. Feels like a reliable chain. no surprises! Good value for money.

    Nothing really bad but, though the breakfast was good value for money, would have liked more choice - eg could only have fried egg with a cooked breakfast, no flexibility for, for example, scrambled eggs. We got a bit lost getting to the hotel on a busy Saturday afternoon. Could do with really clear route being given out. It's not that easy a location if you don't know Leicester well.

    Check in and check out staff very friendly

    Waiting to be seated at breakfast - breakfast starts at 8am, staff should be available from then to seat guests - i went down at 815am and had to wait 10 mins before someone came to seat me - i didn't want to be rude and seat myself

    the room was great value for money however the service was very very poor by all staff, the room wasnt realy even though we turned up 2 hours after check in, then the staff were not very helpfull at all, then when we got to the room it wasnt even ready.

    "Excellent! Highly recommended, virtually perfect if they sort the mattresses out!" (107163210)

    The room was very clean and well laid out with pleasant green decor, unlike some hotels which for some reason assume that shrill pink will somehow relax travellers. Excellent shower with effective extractor fan!

    The first room we were given had a ridiculously soft mattress, so we asked to change. The next room's mattress was better but still soft, although it didn't stop us getting a good night's sleep.

    The hotel is clean easy to find and close to city centre. Good parking and secure after dark

    room was a bit on the hot side due to the heat of a "British summers day"

    Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Great mattress and duvet.

    No need to change towels everyday and to replace used bars of soap with new ones every day. The hotel signs outside the building were too low down (behind wire netting and vegetation)to be easily seen from the street.

    Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff.

    Frozen veg with the steak and ale pie, same veg appeared with the veg risotto.

    An excellent, smart hotel with very professional and friendly staff.

    Traffic is quite noisy but not too bad.
