    A clean comfortable hotel. Very quiet. Excellent value for money.

    Limited wardrobe space in bedroom. Breakfast charged as an extra.

    Close to motorway so easy to drive to but not noisy. Bar area was wonderfully light and airy.

    Temperature gauge on shower was back to front, but didn't out smart us;0)

    Hotel very nice, staff very nice,

    Disappointed that there was no room service availabe and finished serving food at 10pm, also that the bar was closed at 11pm and there was no drinks or snack machine, Also on checking out hotel tried to charge us an extra £40 due to a tarrif change. Which we disagreed with this and she said she would not charge us the extra on this occassion.

    "It was a lovely experience. Being so close to the venue saved so much hassle. The bar was open till 12.30am to residents only which was a great end to the evening." (107470063)

    Friendly and helpful staff, next door to the SECC, free City centre car park, good sized room and excellent value for money.

    Due to the roadworks and diversions in place around the hotel it was very difficult to find the entrance to the car park.

    The atmosphere at the hotel was really good and staff were friendly and helpful.

    The only bad point for us was that the hot breakfast had been kept "warm" for too long which made it rubbery and not pleasant to eat.

    Room was vert small. Housekeping staff don't knock at the door in the morning, just let themselves into the room!

    "For a budget hotel, it was great, clean and in general the staff were really helpful. However, things like number of pillows are important to people and this should be taken into consideration when room service is concerned." (107632402)

    Helpfulness of staff, being able to speak several languages, etc.

    Once housekeeping has gone home, it was impossible to get things like extra pillows.

    excellent location for exhibition centre and city centre

    early closure of hotel bar,it did not effect us but a few people did not arrive until nearer 12pm. might be advisable to let guests know in advance ie check in of early closure...just a thought

    "Generally stay was pleasant, rooms seems to be quite well soundproofed as we had people on either side and didn't hear a peep. Didn't get breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on food. The staff that we encountered were friendly and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. Although i've said that the room was a bit tired looking it was VERY clean as was the bathroom." (107655193)

    Room was clean and comfortable and larger than i expected it to be. It had a decent shower and I was pleasantly surprised to discover it was air conditioned.

    Room was a little tired looking and could have done with a fresh lick of paint. The tv remote had no battery cover and some missing buttons!

    clean hotel, very close to our venue, staff were helpful when asked but see below

    when arrived we were advised to book our table for our evening meal as can get very busy,after checking out the menu we all knew what we would order but when we went for our meal got told we could not order off of this menu only the pre-theatre menu was very disappionted as staff did not inform us of this, very limited menu choice if had known this we would have eaten elsewhere.

I will be making regular visits to Glasgow every 2 months and is a shame you didn't make the grade unlike the Premier Inn, they will be now getting more business and recommendations from me."     Breakfast was not cooked enough and was luke warm which, for the price, is very poor and not value for money - you should have a look at the Premier Inn Hotel in Glasgow at their breakfasts and you will see what you get for the same price.

    I had a room and a bed.

    no heating in room, I was provided with small blow heater but this wasn't really adequate. Staff didn't seem to have the ability to have the heater fixed. Also breakfast very poor, I'm vegetarian and £8 is not good value for cereal and toast.

    Excellent location for access to SSEC etc. Easy walk to station for access to city centre.

    Car park entrance was not so easy to find, but not the hotels fault and will probably improve when all the work around it is finished.Bar only open till 11.00pm.Kitchen staff pouring slops down a drain outside was a little off putting.

    "Hi, Unfortunatly we broke down on the M8 and didn't make it to the hotel and missed the Primal Scream gig at the SECC. A recovery truck took us and our car back to Edinburgh.     Staff friendly and helpful. The boy on reception when we checked out on Saturday 13th overheard us discussing a place to visit and was very helpful and gave us directions.

    We only stayed one night so can't give a fair opinion but were very disappointed that, after seeing a show, we found the bar had last orders at 11.00 p.m. on the Friday. We are used to being able to have a drink as a resident when we want. There was no mini bar in room so no alternative. Some people who came in after us became very irate and at one point the Manager tried to close the door to the bar and not allow some people who had arrived after 11.00 p.m. in. After general protests he then opened the door again.
