    Excellent location and fantastic view - comfortable. Biscuits with tea making facilities would have been good. Expensive room service.

    Easy to get to. Good car parking at a reasonable price for London. Friendly and efficient staff. General room standard good. Good location.

    Bathroom a bit dated. A long wait for the lifts. Exterior of hotel needs an 'uplift'. Terrible breakfast queues.

    excellent shower

    we needed to bring a cot up to our room, and they said our room wasnt big enough to accomodate a cot, so we had to change rooms. The new room was exactly the same size room as the other (just more expensive). On the brighter side, the new room had an excellent view.

    "Information sent stated that breakfast was not included. When we checked out, the staff member asked me if we had used the mini-bar. On being told no, she said So it's just bed and breakfast then. I pointed out that we had been told that breakfast was not included, and in fact had not had breakfast(partially due to the long queue). She was very pleasant, but could not reduce our bill, although she did take £10 off our parking feel. Lack of communication between hotel and activehotels? I have called and asked you to investigate (spoke to David) on 01 May 08, but no-one has got back to me. If we'd known that breakfast was included we would have braved the queue!" (97068270)

    Very convenient for our purpose. Room recently refurbished; comfortable and well-equipped.

    Queues at check-in and check-out. Being encouraged to pay for an up-grade.

    The lady at the Guest Services desk who gave such a personalised service when I neede to order breakfast

    The lady who checked me in; didn't seem to want to help - just replied no to every request. All she wanted me to do was upgrade. The room was not well cleaned, old breakfast forms and other stuff used by prior guests were lying around; the telephones weren't working - had to go through switchboard to get to room service. There wasn't even any drinks bar in the room - for the amount paid, a real disappointment.

    "The facilities in the hotel are very expensive but it'dn understandable considering the location. I would have like to have known the cost of food/drink and parking beforehand. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel views and lobby look fantastic but I did leave some items in my hotel room which were not handed in by the cleaners. The room is cosy but not very modern looking. The bathroom was small and luckily there was 2 showers because 1 didn't work. I would definately stay in the hotel again specifically for the location and comfort." (97506687)

    "The hotel was in a great location overlooking the spectacular Tower of London and was easily accessible with tube station near by. The hotel was great value for money considering location, size and facilities of hotel,breakfast which was included and view from the bedroom..     "Nice clean room with a great shower and a very large and comfortable bed. Nice friendly staff on reception and at the concierge desk. Poor service in the bar which prompted us to eat elsewhere. Central location with lots of restaurants close by." (97201299)

    It was on the river and at the centre of everything we wanted to see and do.

    You had to crane your neck to see the river, but it was possible.

    "I have stayed at this hotel before and regard it as reliable tourist-clas accommodation. Some of the rooms and bathrooms are very tired and need refurbishing however. Its really out-dated to still have sheets and blankets also (duvets are much more hygienic)" (99984723)

    "If i had known that the rooms varied so much i would have requested to stay on floor 9 rather than floor 5,i would have requested another room if we,d had enough time but i had already waited 20 minutes to check in,and we were on a tight scedule,i did comment the next day but was not offered a reduction which i would have expected."     The hotel is in a fatastic location with lovely veiws of the tower ad mariner.

    Our room was very shabby,the furniture had definately seen better days,even the corridor was very shabby,we stayed on floor 5 and our friends stayed on floor 9 which was a lot nicer,you would not think that both floors were in the same hotel,very disapionting.

    Very good position, rooms were of good stanard and the staff were all very friendly and helpful

    Lack of staff in reception led to long queues when checking in or out or requiring information.

    "We are fairly familiar with this part of London and for us is a great place to be based for the weekend. This Hotel is extremely close to the City with all its History and easy access to the West End. However, the real bonus with this Hotels location is its proximity to the South Bank and its atmosphere from Butlers Wharf to Westminster Bridge. Walking in the steps of Shakespeare, Dickens,et al makes this area a real Jewel which will become more and more promoted." (99644640)

    Very conveniently located for visiting the city, with easily accessible transport links

    Room decoration was tired and in need of renovation.

    The room itself was fantastic pity about the view! Thought as we had booked a deluxe room and had been upgraded to executive we would have a fantistic veiw of the river and the tower bridge but we had a veiw of a block of buildings!! very disapointing!

    The hotel is conveniently placed and from some rooms a good view of the Thames and Tower Bridge can be had.

    once we moved from our initial room the accomodation was good.

    Wrong room on arrival. The initial room was dirty and the wall lights were hanging off the wall. Also given twin beds when we had requested family room.Very dissapointed.
