  a very average hotel

  Moved to another hotel for one night in spite of having reserved weeks prior to arrival. Manager would not deal with the matter personally. Appalling. Breakfast very average

  "With the exeption of the male receptionist who booked us in on arrival and gave us invaluable local information the rest of the staff ignored us most of the time and were more interested in the conference guests than us. Also the hotel boasts a swimming pool which was one of the reasons we chose it, it is open to hotel guests one hour per evening each day and you have to sign your rights away on paper, wear a swimming hat, robe and suitable footwear.... perhaps they should delete the pool from the hotel description" (99535781)

  The staff were very helpful. I ended up arriving earlier than expected and your staff allowed me to check in earlier than the time I had been given. I will recomend your hotel to friends!

  "Before booking this accommodation, I would like to have known that the leisure centre was only available at certain times of the day. We would always go for a swim in the morning, have breakfast then head off for the day. The swimming pool would be a main feature when I am booking a weekend break." (99723305)

  The accommodation was very clean. Excellent choice on breakfast menu for

  I disliked the fact that there was no tea, coffee in the room.

  "One of the few hotels in which we've stayed in Europe where they quickly meet your needs and do so with a smile. The staff actually had personlaty! Wish more hotels were like this one. One of the best dinners we've had in our travels in Italy also!(and we've been to Pisa, Florence, Tuscany, Rome, Venice,and Sardinia!) Reasonable price, delicious food, and definitely enough to eat!"   Excellent - very quick to meet our needs. Wonderful food in the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help. We'd definitely stay there again.

  Near the Treviso airport but not close enough to walk anywhere. However, it served our needs!

  "The hotel is situated 3km from Treveso Airport, so the taxi trip (a standard fee of 14 Euro)takes only a matter minutes. This is particulary good for your return journey as Treveso Airport is quite small and you only need leave the hotel 10 minutes before your check-in commences. We arrived early morning and the hotel staff allocated rooms to us immediately rather than the normal check-in time as we had been travelling through the night and this gave us the opportunity to freshen up. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Maggior Consiglio any would happily stay there again. The railway station is approximately 1km from the hotel (a nice walk after a hearty breakfast) where you can catch the train to Venice for 5 Euro return. The rail network is excellent and trains run very frequently." (99756103)

  Good, clean accommodation with very helpful staff. Breakfast was particulary good value for money at 10 Euro.

  "Agréable séjour car personnel aimable, piscine, salle de fitness. Le personnel est multilingue et très serviable." (3304068451)

  Hôtel très propre, mais il y faisait trop chaud (min. 30 degrés!). Bon accueil et service même si assez cher.

  "Excellent hotel, minutes from the airport, easy to find in a hire car. On the road to Venice, easy to find one's bearings for the onward journey. Pleasant staff, bright and cheerful surroundings, exactly what was needed after a long flight. Not a fun holiday hotel- ideal for the business traveller or a one night stopover with a family group."   "You could not book breakfast prior, therefore had no way of knowing the cost involved, which was expensive for breakfast. The leisure facilities (gym and pool) were at restricted times which did not suit the times you would be likely as a tourist to be actually in the hotel. Whilst the hotel was only a 20 minute walk from the train station, it is more than likely to be used for tourists who are visiting Venice, however, they must be aware, they have rail strikes! There are limited facilities and it is not easy to establish which coaches run there and which don't. We ended up after 2 hours taking the car! All of that being said, the hotel was comfortable, reception were very helpful, and the rate was reasonable." (2166848)

  Good Parking facilities. Easy to find and get to. Quite a good standard of accommodation.

  Use of leisure facilities restricted, i.e pool and gym. Expensive breakfast. Hard pillows.
