This is a world-class destination hotel and the experience was world-class. I liked the fact that it was such a quiet place. Also, I'm a distance runner, who likes the flats and the hills, and I had great runs directly from this resort that were like a dream.

"this hotel is in a beautiful location, scenic & quiet, though it is away from the village. we needed to take a taxi into the village. it would be better if the hotel offered a mini-van service for its guests." (3304918542)

location. we needed to drive into the village. we suggest that the hotel get a mini-Van to bring people into and back to the hotel.

"A lovely mid size hotel with good facilities (unless you want tea and coffe making facilities in the room), in a beautiful setting within easy reach of Nice Airport. The suite was well appointed and extremely comfortable with beautiful views. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful and mostly English speaking. The restaurant attracts many locals which I think says a lot about the standard of food served. Whilst the meals are not cheap we found the food, drink and service to be exceptional. Good value overall. I would expect to pay far more in the UK for a meal of this quality." (3304319348)
Suites offer good sized well appointed accommodation with superb sea views
Standard rooms comfortable but do not necessarily benfit from the views.

"We loved this place and will most definately recommend it to our friends ... The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. This hotel is gorgeous! the grounds are delightfully decorated with unique sculptures and the views are incredible. We were enchanted and ended up staying an extra night." (2970071)
We loved the size of the room, the bed was adequate and the bath was very well equipped. The large balcony with the terrific view was definately the best part.
The restaurant is outstanding but, for a weary traveller who would just like something light and easy ... this is not the place. Maybe they could add a light menu ... for room service ... or bar service ... whatever. And, a less elaborate breakfast menu ... 30 euro is a lot of euro for a continental breakfast ...

"I had a pleasant stay overall. Not sure if I would come back as there are so many other great hotels in the area, for example I really enjoyed my weekend at Cantemerle which is in the same area, also in great surroundings, but more updated. This had been my first choice but were fully booked at the time." (107933495)
The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, nestled in the woods, although a car is definitely needed to move around the area.
Our room was a little bit "tired", the bed had a wicker headboard, walls looked unfinished, and some of the tiling in the bathroom was chipped. It was almost as if it had had its prime during the 80s, but no serious refurbishment has been performed since. This is reflected in the decor and the wear and tear of the interior.
