    Great value for money

    Abysmal checking out process. We were made to wait 25 minutes due to inadequate staffing, and then were not even offered an apology for the wait.

    Pleaseant staff on the evening of our arrival.

    Very uncomfortable and small sized double bed. It appeared to be a 3/4 size bed. Room become very hot in the middle of the night.

    I could not fault the hotel at all, staff, room, and food was excellent.

    The only thing was it was not made clear when booking or on arrival or when ordering our food that we were only allowed £30 for our evening meal, when i came home i checked my print out of the hotel offer and nothing was mentioned. This should be made aware to all guest staying

    Very friendly hotel, and the staff were exceptionably helpful when we needed directions to where we were going.Room was very acceptable and they have their own secure parking which was a bonus. Good location and felt it was a good price for the area.

    It was obvious that the quilt cover was clean and had been laundered but there were marks on it(looked like an old red wine stain). Everything else was spotless.

    I booked the room for my son and his partner as we had booked tickets for them at the Six Nations Rugby for his 21st Birthday and wanted a local hotel. They were overjoyed with heir room which was a suite, so a big thank you to the hotel.

    Only bad point was they could not get a taxi on return from the rugby match and got totally lost, they then got out of area and when they did locate a taxi they had never heard of the hotel. But this was no fault of the hotel.

    GENERALLY CLEAN.SERVICE GOOOD.FOOD AVERAGE. ALTHOUGH SITUATED ON A MAIN ROAD,IT IS STILL A CONVENIENT LOCATION.

    BATHROOM NOT CLEANED TO A GOOD STANDARD. BREAKFAST NOT HOT ON SECOND MORNING.SOME OF THE STAFF NEED TO SMILE MORE.

    "As I have to work in London alot of times, I have used a number of hotels with the same star rating. all have offered a good standard of room, but what the White Hart offers extra is value value for money. " (107298783)

    Clean and very tidy hotel with some nice touches. Staff were very considerate and a credit to the hotel

    I have stayed at this hotel on a number of times, each time I could not fault the hotel. If I had a bad point then it is the exit back into the main stream trafic which can be differcult at times.

    Very clean. Decor Good, bed comfortable, feather quilt lovely. Toiletries provide great. Nice tea/coffee set up. Provision of ironing board, iron and trouser press great.

    Very pleasant staff and cosy room.

    Had dinner in restaurant, my steak was overcooked but manager did offer to replace the meal. Restaurant could have done with being warmer. Heater in room efficient but noisy!

    "Absolutely brilliant especially with having the weather with us. Lovely to chill over lunch and sit outside after a long journey and so close to all amenities (shops, theatre etc). " (107180194)

    Staff were very accomodating and friendly. When we asked to swap rooms from a double bedded room to 2 single beds they did so within 5 mins. We will definitely stay again if we're in Kingston again.

    The only minor fault we could find would be that there wasn't a breakfast menu on the tables when we went for breakfast so that when we were asked what we wanted we had no idea what was on offer.

    Very good breakfast with speedy delivery, food hot etc. Very close to the train station and easy to find. Room was very quiet with very little traffic noise.

    "I was pleasantly surprised on my arrival. The building far surpassed the photographs on the internet. Also, as a pub/hotel I expected some disturbance at closing time which didn't happen. Tea/coffee making facilities should be available in the rooms for the price. Fabulous hotel which I will use again." (97267116)

    Excellent location. Good size room. Very clean with classy decor.

    For the room rate of £135/night I would have expected tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits. If this had been available I would have scored the overall value for money as excellent instead of good.

    "White hart is a lovely hotel to stay with fabulous staff. I have known the staff there for many years and they have always treated me like one of the family. Nothing is a problem to them, they will go the extra mile for you. The taxi service they use is 100% better than black cabs, drivers are always courteous and cabs are clean." (97252668)

    I find the location excellent, close to everything that I needed. The staff were professional at all times, it's like being with family. The fire in the reception is a huge draw card when it's snowing outside... you just want to curl up on the couch and sup on some mulled wine...

    Leaving! TV reception on one (1) of the channels was not possible. but that is soooo small in the big picture eh.

    Our room was quiet, very clean and, very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent. The bath was especially pleasant to relax in.

    We had expected some drawers in our room to store small items of clothing.
