    The swimming pool was good

    Your F&B Manger was rude and very bad. Room service for breakfast, there was no table to eat the food of and your staff had no idea what to do. The dinner food was not good tasting although expensive. No one available to help with the cases. No mobile reception for ORANGE operators, no signal.

    " See above, also fire alarms going off in the night meant disturbed nights following a long day and were not really acceptable. In view of the lack of a view in the room I would have expected a warning at the very least on booking and a subsequent reduction in the cost." (107544223)

    Had room on 2nd floor that had a window similar to a prison. It was high up on the wall letting light in, but we were unable to see out of it.Had I not been heading for a wedding immediately following putting bags in room I would have complained.

    Staff were all efficient and helpful

    No mini bar or bottled water in room.Pianist/singer in bar was too loud to hold conversation easily.Lovely idea, but should have been in the background, not dominating proceedings.

    Beautiful surroundings, big, tastefully decorated room, staff pleasant,great gym and health facilities

    dirty linen on bed--comforter had blood on it and the blanket smelled. No flannels, would have been nice and complimentary water not available. Also could not order movie from tv.

    Room/bathroom excellent. Leisure facilities of a high standard.

    Breakfast not too good. Buffet style where many items were not replaced quickly enough leaving food to get cold. Would suggest staffing levels maybe insufficient for busy periods.

    Excellent customer service Good size room and design, with impressive shower and birth Room / Hotel environment all round comfortable

    Could do better with a clock and a fridge in the room. The food was not the best. Quantity was unquestionable but more could be done to improve on the taste.

    Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are of good size

    Initial room was very noisy with wedding next door and bed had not been properly installed so easily rolled around on it's casters (almost causing an accident. They did promtly give a new room when requested. Restaurant (La Cucina) was very poor. Bland and sauceless pizza, oversalted sauce, tiny cakes (with undressed salad leaves) and sorbets that looked liked they were roughly cut from a block of ice. Large queues at breakfast (one chef doing eggs to order) and generally tasteless english breakfast

    Excellent check-in/out. Rooms of high standard. Bath and Shower in the room. Great gold courses if you play golf. Food good quality and value.

    My room very large/modern and had fantastic views over the golf course. Lovely bathroom with seperate shower and bath.

    The only downside to the room was that it had a adjoining door to the next room and the sound proofing was not very good.

    "The hotel is set in wonderful grounds and looks impressive, however tha lack of maintenance to the common parts was annoying; there were also quite a few occasions where cleaning had also not been undertaken-mud on stairs etc. Food at La Cucina was hit and miss- I asked for a particularly well done steak and it came back with blood flowing from the centre, the female maitre D was excellent-very friendly and professional but the rest of the staff were lacklustre."     "I wish I had known that the restaurant was outside. the staff were not helpfull as the breakfast is served in different rooms on different days, we had to find this out for ourselves. On checkout we were not asked if everything was ok during our stay [ maybe just as well ]The bathroom had broken tiles in it and the edge of the shower cubicle was thick with dust! This hotel is classed as a 4* but my husband and I think it is a 3* charging 5* prices" (97798086)

    we were given a suite,there were no robes ,slippers,mini bar,wine glasses is was in fact a family room with 3 beds .The restaurant in outside the hotel a minute or two walk ,I did not know this and only had an evening dress,as in was October it was a cold walk!

    Friendly staff, unexpected balcony in room

    Room was next to the store cupboard so woken up at 7am on both days by staff banging about. Also no blackout curtain and those that were there left gaps so light came in at 5am

    "This hotel seems to be geared towards male golfing parties. The only woman displayed in the hotel golfing brochure was wearing a bikini and advertising a holiday resort. Also, channels 6 to 10 on the TV were showing porn which wasn't even pay to view. I'm glad I didn't have my children with me." (99311881)
