    Nice shower and decent sized room.

    Arrived at 10pm and was unable to get any food at the hotel as was told abruptly by two members of staff that the restaurant and the snack bar were closed. Kept awake for hours by people shouting and fighting in the corridor.

    "A mixed bag, but considering that it is so convenient for the Excel venue, I might stay there again if needed, although I did chose it because the Ramada was full this time." (107926618)

    Good value for money; excellent position for the London Triathlon event which I was attending; friendly staff, very flexible on personal problems I had for the check-in; excellent breakfast buffet for the morning.

    We found only two towels in the room, when we needed at least 4 (2 for each adult - normal standard in other hotels); no hair drier and when we asked they have finished all of the driers; no air conditioning, rather air cooling system that did cool that much at all - not possible to regulate in the room.

    Car park is nightmare, having to go to another hotel to pay for it every time you want to go in and out.

    Air con / heating unit did not work in our room. We were in room 807. We also were in a room which was non - smoking yet a smoke smell was coming through into our room from the bathroom, maybe through the extractor system? When told about the restaurant at check in we were not advised we would have to book a table so when we came down in the evening we could not get a table.

    "The room was warm, the bed was ok and it was a safe place to be until we rollwed back in Excel the next day. You did not mind how late we came back either." (107863108)

    Ibis was very close to Excel.

    Service was very, very slow. The lifts were overcrowded and with long waits. The dining room was overflowing. Tea/coffee was not replenished. No bath towels provided. Check in was a farce as my guest was listed as payee.

    The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff very helpful

    The purchase price for the nights stay was more expensive than if i had just turned up on the day for a room.

    Staff were very helpful

    Bar sevices not so good due to low level of staff; waited too long to be served especially when requesting meals!!!!

    "staff made me more than welcome, though a little training on wines would not go a miss they do not have a clue between sweet from dry. Overall my stay was very pleasent accept the maid walking in on me showering!!" (99550182)

    slow service staff did not seem to cope with rush time maid walked in when I was showering about about 9.30 wanting to clean when after all check-out time was not till 12 noon

    "I have stayed with Ibis a lot over the years , but to have a diry room aroumd and only one person on the bar for about three hrs and a lot of people to serve was a very poor service, you have lost out because we would have spent a lot more money..The one barman you had did his very best."     Good value for money

    Blood on the pillow, no pillow cases....two dirty towels in the bathroom and the toilet had not been cleaned

    "Overall we had a good stay at the Ibis hotel. It was somewhere, reasonably priced where we could stay after our concert. We did try to purchase a sandwich after our concert (11pm), which the bar staff said they didn't have, despite advertising 24hour service. Also, they could have been more friendly. However, this did not bother us unduly." (97093553)

    It was clean, with our own ensuite facilities. It was also located near the O2 Arena where we were attending a concert.

    There was no waste bin in our room, for newspapers and general rubbish. We had to leave these on the table.

    "Transport to and from O2 was curtailed on evening of the show, so had to get taxi- it would be really good if the hotels around excel (2 of which are Accor chain) combined to commission a water taxi service to and from Royal Victoria Dock. Would have liked to have been advised within the hotel, or before booking about this- may not have chosen this Ibis." (97953999)

    Very good quality room services and cleanliness, helpful staff, good location for our visit to O2 venue

    Only very small issue was no English cooked Breakfast- also when we checked in the very helpful member of rception staff was overwhelmed at that particular time- could have done with colleagues being called to help him.

    good accomodation, good room facilities, easy check-in helpful staff I just wish a room/bed for a night could be a bit less expensive generally - by this I mean across the board, not just Ibis. This was a good facility, quiet and comfortable and I would certainly use Ibis again.

    "This is my second stay at the hotel, and whenever I go to the o2 or the Excel center this hotel will be my fisrt choice.Very close to the tube station,lovely setting right on the dock and a nice reasonably priced friendly hotel." (97746552)

    Comfortable, relaxing and peaceful

    I got scolded in the shower on both times i had one. The water was fine one second then absolutely burning hot the next. If one of my children were there then they would have seriously been burnt. Unfortunately we was in a total rush in the morning and had no time to complain but i was going to phone hotel and mention it asap.

    "our stay at the ibis was great only we couldnt get a drink at the bar when we came back from the concert so make sure you have your own drink as there is nothing else about at this one!also, it says that it is a 10 minute walk from the o2 but infact you cannot walk there you have to get a tube or a cab not good when your not from london i was under the impression i was walking there."     cost & location, excellent shower

    cleanliness - there was the dried remains of a curry splattered on the inside of the bedside light, up the wall & onto the ceiling (took so long to check in with very polite but non-English fluent receptionist, couldn't be bothered to complain!) Tea/coffee quantity poor and not replenished after first night.

    Clean and Cheap

    Booking was for a twin room. we were given a double with aq side bed. the side bed was not appropriate.
