    "Quiet, lovely breakfasts, enjoyed the coffe, comfortable and pleasant." (108817680)

    Near Excel, open spaces, next to the river, close to train stasion and gym.

    Breakfast had a peak time when there was just to many peaple and food got delayed. Toaster bit of a puzzle!

    "Suited our purpose for visit to boat show. Could not have been closer to excel. Spacious room, good value for money, excellent dinner buffet at £22.50 each and breakfast buffet at £14.50 was worth it." (107649166)

    Excellent buffet dinner and breakfast. Staff pleasant, friendly and very helpful. Spacious reception and good internet facilities. Good value

    Convenient and nicely located.

    Room had a very bad sewer smell from the shower area. The water did not get adequately hot.

    "We were very happy indeed with our experience. We booked some time before our stay over the internet and the whole process was quick easy and extremely user friendly. The hotel itself was easily found, very modern clean and thoroughly enjoyable for what we needed. Although some distance out of central London everywhere was easily accesible both by DLR tube and even by foot. We intend booking again this time with our children." (97061358)

    Excellent modern and very clean. Staff extremely friendly, efficient and helpful in terms of providing iformation regarding local services etc.

    Very convenient position for access to Excel Centre. Staff were very courteous and helpful.

    Rather awkward to get to hotel car park. Unfortunate experience with broken bottle on car park floor - had to remove embedded glass from my tyres. Problem eventually resolved.

    "We stayed here whilst visiting o2 to see celine dion, and were also fortunate to be here whilst filming of grand designs live was on. The weather was lovely, allowing us to enjoy the upper deck and all in all a very pleasant overnight stay" (97543865)

    The close proximity to the O2 Arena.

    Menu choice in Upper Deck Restaurant limited. Price of products in mini bar expensive, i.e. £1.50 a Mars bar. Price of breakfast expensive, £13.50 per adult.

    "Booked on line, double money taken from card on booking refund took 5 days. We were told book in any time after 2pm arrived at 3.15 had to wait for room until 4pm, so initial feelings not too good. Staff at hotel more than made up for any problems, they were all in general, so hepful, had great sense of humour and nothing seemed too much trouble to them. Hotel was in great location, we were attending O2 Arena for concert so just a train ride away." (97956667)

    "We thought it was a lovely hotel and would definitely stay again. We were attending a concert at the O2 arena and found getting there and back quite easy too. Good facilities and lovely bar and restaurant." (97546421)

    Its was very comfortable, clean and bright fittings in rooms. Excellent bathroom facilities.

    "we enjoyed our stay at the novotel, it is nicely decorated and the rooms are very comfortable. the only thing i would say is that i didnt find the standard of food all that great considering the price. All the satff are very friendly and helpfull. i would definatley reccommend it and would have no problems staying again." (97696160)

    the hotel staff were very friendly, which makes a real difference when you are away from home.

    it was a little bit out from the centre of london, but not a big problem. The trains and tubes were literally just outside the hotel doors, with easy access to all of london.

    Not a lot to citicise about this hotel, if you had to nit-pick, £13 is a bit expensive for a breakfast.

    "The hotel was near to the O2 arena, which was one of the main reasons for booking this particular hotel. Taxi's to venue and back were arranged by hotel staff, with no fuss, and the taxi company was efficient and reasonably priced. The room itself was large and clean and it felt safe and homely. The bar staff were also friendly and even though me and my friends seemed to be some of the youngest guests, we felt welcomed. All in all a fabulous place to stay after a night at a London concert!"     pillows could be better, had trouble sleeping.

    Nice clean and spacious room with excellent bath and shower. The hotel was ideally located for the train station which provided easy access to the surrounding areas.
