    close to motorway and gretna village and spacious room

    the decore was old and as it was pet friendly there was a smell off dogs in certain parts of the hotel but was clean.

    Good value. Pleased to find (since last visit) that food is now available 24 hours. Cheerful helpful staff. Just what is required for a stopover And you allow dogs - the deciding factor which rules out so many competitors.

    wife is deaf with two hearing aids but still needs subtitles on tv to avoid disturbing fellow guests. a tv upgrade would help greatly. yes Iknow changes have been made locally to digital!!

    good for an overnight stopover, but would not want to stay for longer good for getting a 10% off voucher at Eat Inn? Good shower

    The welcome pack offered with the Executive Room was one bottle of mineral water and one snack bar!! Last time we stayed we got a choice of soft drinks and a choice of snacks each. Not worth the extra money paid for the room.

    Rather expensive for over night stay compared to usual Travel Lodge prices. Better facilities (chairs/tables) could be provided outside for smokers to save them all congregating outside the main entrance and leaving a mess.

    "We normally stay in Premier Travel Inns. I am sorry to say there was absolutely no comparison between the two. I did not realise till I got there, that dogs were welcome at Days Inn. I do not like the idea of a dog having been in a bedroom I am staying in at all!" (107968088)

    The bed was comfortable. I liked the extra worktop space with a bright light.

    We found the room in need of sprucing up. The net curtains were hanging off at the side, the window sill next to the glass was black...as if it was damp, there were two chips on the bath, the shower was stiff to put on and was dribbly after it was put off. The water took a very long time to drain away.

    Trouser press did not work, only 4 channels on the TV. The bed was very uncomfortable and had no pad between the springs and the person lying on rgw bed.

    Bathroom was clean, bedding was clean and towels were changed without request.

    The smell from 3 rooms up was horrid, there had been a leak so the carpet was wet and s smelt like onions and mould and this was due too staff having wedged the door open instead of opening the windows. The bed was very uncomfy and seemed old. I didn't realy see what was so executive about the room, there was a noisey fridge and heater, the windows were single glazed and the curtains let in light. All this did not make for a good nights sleep!!

    when I tried to check in the hotel had no record of any booking for me, luckily they had rooms available and eventually all went to plan

    Good and clean rooms and helping staff

    First of all getting to the place was a big challenge as we were told when we called the hotel that the post code in the mail is not valid and we were using GPS, so we called nearly 10 times getting assistance to get to the hotel. Finally when we reached the hotel i was asked to pay before checkin, but i believed i had made online payment, but was later clarified by staff, so there was no clarity if i was making payment or reservation when booking online.
