    No suprises. Quiet, no traffic noise. got what expected, (except breakfast on day 2.)

    Breakfast ordered 2x days. Day 2 had to chase, we had been forgotten. No croissant with breakfast as they had not been ordered for us. Still charged full price.

    "Very happy and would come again. Hopefully the same day receptionist would be there. Having a voucher for breakfast for £5 instead of paying 6.99 was good. And the meal was good value. All freshly cooked. Surprising for a motorway place." (108558849)

    Daytime receptionist was excellent, happy, friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Willing to go the extra mile i thought.

    Twin booked, was expecting two beds but receptionist said that its a double and a sofa bed. Had i bothered to ask im sure she would have had the sofa made up for us. But i feel that it should have been made up before we got there. There was no bottom sheet in the room although an extra quilt and pillows were there. So i couldnt make it up even if i had wanted to. This is only a comment not a complaint as i didnt try to take it further.

    Good value for money, easy free parking, selection of food available close by

    I was unfortunate to witness one member of staff abusing another by telephone. The receptionist was being verbally abused while I was trying to check-in and because she had been reduced to tears had to leave reception for a short while to dry her eyes and calm herself down. Despite this she treated me professionally, courteously and efficiently with a very welcoming and pleasant manner - much to her credit. I don't know the background to this event but whatever the problem (if in-deed there was a problem) it should not have been dealt with in this manner whilst the receptionist was dealing with customers.

    Breakfast - continental breakfast included however this just consisted of boxes of cereal etc in a corner in the reception area.

    Comfortable bed, good check-in. Value for money.

    'Snack Basket' missing. Double glazing did not fit the frame properly so noise was a problem from the motorway.

    "I was pleased with my stay. It was convenient, comfortable and good value for money. I was very pleased that there was a Waitrose where I could buy a salad to eat in my room rather than the food at the services, which did not cater well for vegetarians." (108737117)

    Very good value with breakfast included. Large, well equipped, clean and comfortable room.

    The shower was controlled from the bath taps which had to be adjusted before stepping into the bath. When the temperature changed I had to climb out of the bath to readjust them and to turn them off at the end. I found this difficult and there was no towelling bathmat so the floor got very wet.

    Convenient location. Good value and enjoyed the variety of outlets close at hand.

    For each of our stays we have booked a family room. It would be good if we didn't need to ask for towels, cups etc. needed for the third person. We have had to ask each time for these.

    Days Inn and Welcome Break give good value for money particularly for someone like myself who works late and needs to be on his way to the next venue. I stay at your hotels a lot and have never had any reason to complain or feel I should make a complaint. Good value for the late arriver just right amount of comfort with no unnecessary frills.

    The Website states money will be transferred from the account straight away but one always has to pay again upon arrival. This does not make sense. Please note I have never had the amount deducted twice but it is a slight anomily.

    Very helpful reception, but poor computerlink up so he found it very diff' to find my on line booking,but receptionist was able to brush off his frustrations in v friendly way, lo and behold same gentleman was at reception to see me off at 7.00am, Position of premises good.

    Rather dated room and room opp being refurbished door open carpet partially up damp floor drying out!!bath taps leaking continually and extractor fan noisy room seemed ? poorly aired when unoccupied,no bath mat evident

    Cracks in the bathroom tiles. Could not work out how to turn on the shower. Hot even without the heating on. Window didn't open very far.

    Room was clean, checking in / out was efficient and friendly, powerful shower is always a good point.

    Room had damp odour, bathroom was functionable but aged and although clean, was at the stage that it was never going to look clean again - cracked sink yellow with age etc.

    Easy to find being on the motorway service area

    Didn't want to eat Dinner in the service area, so had to go looking for somewhere else to dine which was a bit of a bind.

    The reception area carpet is quite tatty and gives you the first impression of everywhere being tatty. The bathroom needs a little attention.

    Very helpful staff, open 24hrs so very useful. Room had everything needed for a short stay.

    No free car-park for hotel users. The full english breakfast was poor.

    "A welcome haven in very pleasant surroundings. I had just returned from a business trip to Georgia in Asia Minor. My journey back from Tbilisi was truly awful as both flights were delayed and I hadn't had any sleep for 42 hours.A hot bath and a restful night's sleep in you hotel and I was as good as new again Another important point is that I have always found your staff extremely helpful and pleasant."     Great value - it is just a shame there are not more of these hotels in the UK. Pet friendly policy. It is an enormous relief to find a chain of hotels that not only allow pets but are positively welcoming towards them.

    Staff at this location are exceptionally good. I have stayed at a Days Hotel and they were not up to the same standard. I originally thought it was training, but now am more likely to think it is the manager. Fire doors are kept closed as they shold be, not proped open.

    Construction was not so good when built. Ground floor is showing signs of weakness. The hotel could use a refurbish. It could also use new plumbing so that fluctuations in water temperature are not a problem.
