    most enjoyable stay,in particular hotel staff were very helpfull,pleasent making our stay one of the most enjoyable.will definately return in the future.

    could not find any fault.

    Bright and clean. Good location. Our request for quiet room at rear of hotel was honoured. Friendly and efficient check-in (despite queues)

    gap between mastic and sink in bathroom - needed replacing. breakfast experience not too good: - Tables so close together we were in danger of diners hitting our heads with their trays as they attempted to get by. - Coffee luke warm and tasted 'stewed' - Serving layout could be improved - toast only available if we got in queue for full breakfast and waited patiently. Could toast be put elsewhere - infruit & cerals area? - most people want toast after the hot breakfast, not with it. Toast making couldn't keep up with demand at weekend peak times.

    The hotel was good but not excellent

    The room was quite cold during the early evening but extremely hot during the night and early morning. On Sunday morning we went down to breakfact at 8.30. The lift we used was littered with empty chip boxes, chips on the carpet, stubbed out cigarettes and empty bottles on the floor. I thought that by that time of the morning there would have been plenty of time for the lifts to be cleaned. Also surprised that we had to pay extra for car parking, thought this would have been included, works out expensive if staying longer than 24 hours

    Hotel was well situated for the NIA as we were attending the Yehlex Badminton tournatment. Room was ideal for my daughter and I to use.

    Only down side was the noise from Broad Street, which didn't subside until 3am, as it was a busy Saturday evening. This is clearly beyond the hotels control.

    excellent disabled facilities and signage especially for 11th floor, though there are (unavoidable?) steps up to the reception desk. (I'm not disabled, so no expert)

    Horribly cold and implacable air conditioning system creating such chilly draughts that it was impossible to use about half the room without a coat on. turned heating up to max but it made no difference. turned it off and it still seemed to be on. lcd screen of thermostatic control impossible to read even kneeling down. noisy too. I had to go out to get warm instead of, as planned, working in my room with a tray meal. Then went to bed early to keep warm.

    Very clean hotel. Well equipped room. Comfortable huge clean bed.Friendly check in

    Not really a bad point but would have liked to have eaten evening meal in hotel but only two course at £17 50 was available and as I don't have a huge appetite and never eat two courses it would have proved expensive

    "For the price we paid this was good value and the hotel standard was better than expected. The car park is right next to the hotel and they offer reduced rate for guests. " (107699150)

    The rooms are clean and with new flat screen TV's the bed is comfortable and the general standard is very good

    This hotel is in the middle of Broad Street and for the Saturday night we stayed the level of noise from the street is very high and until the very early hours. All of us had rooms towards or at the front of the hotel and this affected us all. One minor point breakfast okay and they must have some of the smallest plates I have ever had!!!

    nice quiet room, location brilliant for the NIA

    bar prices :-) would have just liked simple breakfast of toast but couldnt as set menu, although that looked value for money.

    "first impressions it was an ok 3 star hotel, however with the heating breaking down on the coldest night of the year and it being new years eve, from 5pm onwards it was very cold in the room, we were given a small convector heater after complaining a couple of time which helped but only if we stood over it, we resorted to going outside in the cold rather than being in the room just as cold."     impressive foyer, plenty of lifts to all floors, clean and tidy

    heating broke down on coldest night of the year, very cold in room!

    hotel rooms weren't very warm, central heating was on but it didnt make much difference. Friends who also stayed at the hotel had the same problem- disappointing.

    Cheerful and helpful staff. Comfortable bed in a spacious room that was well furnished and well decorated.

    The breakfast buffet was a little frazzled and the warmth of the eggs was not great. Larger plates would be good too. A difficult area to improve but it would be worthwhile

    lovely views excellent location polite and friendly staff

    terrible noise between early hours of late drunken revellers returning to bedrooms on our floor at one time security attended we didn,t intervene as it may cause us a risk to our safety and stayed behind closed doors
