    excellent location as we used it for the local theatre

    "bed collapsed when sat on, had to complain twice before anybody came to inspect, then was repaired with piece of wood sticking out from side approx 9\10 inches,picture was taken for proof and got no discount very unhappy" (97773851)

    The best bit about the hotel was the breakfast. The shower was also really good.

    The top left corner of the bed moved down when you sat on that side and the bottom right corner squeaked when you sat there

    "I booked Non-Refundable which was ok, I allway stay in Novotel when in Manchester, and Im due to vist Manchester in March and booked Novotel West by mistake and tried phoneing Novotel to see could I stay in Manchester City Novotel but would not change booking for me. As they are the same Hotel I thought you might be of help but got a no no." (97215654)

    "I have no more to say I came to watch Man.U v Portsmouth I could not book hotels near the ground because I left it late, I went on the internet found this hotel and I am very glad I did because it was slendid." (97784516)

    The room was spacious, quiet, clean with coffee/tea making facilities plenty of hanging space and everything I wanted.

    Nothing, it was just what I wanted.

    Excellent location (Manchester City Centre). Quiet and dark with curtains closed.

    More choice in the free in-room hot drinks. More TV cahnnels available. The Sauna and Fitness Suite were also closed when I tried to visit.

    "The room description was shown as 'double' but as I informed them that we were 2 ladies, we had expected a twin bed room when we found we had a double bed. We understood 'double' to mean double occupancy which does not necessarilly mean 'same sex 'couple'. This should be made clearer when booking. The problem was overcome by us asking for the sofa bed to be made up." (97522429)

    Quiet room with adequate facilities apart from the number of milk cartons-there were only 4 for 2 people who MUST enjoy STRONG tea/coffee

    Room was poorly lit. The seperate toilet was too small a space to get into to easily!

    "I would prefer that if a room has a fridge in they could put a complementary pint of fresh milk in as the milk that is on the tea tray is not very nice. I always go and buy a pint of milk. I know it is only a small fault, but I feel it could be a good thing. Thank you" (97573543)

    "Very good hotel, in the heart of the city. Very convenient for the Palace Theatre, China Town and the Christmas Market in Albert Square. The hotel was good value, the bedroom was well equipped with a high standard of cleanliness and the staff were very professional.     Clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price. Hotel didn't feel like a 'budget' hotel which is what I look for. Good location too

    Price of the breakfast was too high. We went out to a good cafe just minutes up the road for have the price.

    "I always find Novotels to be of the highest standard. The staff are courteous and polite, as well as being extremely efficient. The standard of the rooms is excellent and good value for money.     the loo is a bit of a squeeze to get into,lots of rubbish outside the doors of the hotel a newspaper was caught in the revolving door and a broken bottle was still outside another of the doors when we left having been there for 2 days

Location is fabulous and I would highly recommend it if you're staying for a weekend with plenty of activity in the close vicinity. I would be wary of where you park too.     The reception & room itself was modern, light & airy, clean and well maintained.

    The bed was made up of 2 single beds pushed together. Both of which were extremely uncomfortable, and resembled 'temporary' beds. Not a good nights sleep which was extremely dissapointing. In addition it would be worth mentioning to guests booked into rooms overlooking the back of the hotel that from 6am there may be noise from the delivery lorries, especially refrigerated ones, leaving the engines running and causing a lot of disturbance from unloading palletes.

    "The whole booking process was easy and straight forward. Upon arrival the room was ready for 12:30 and the rooms are much nicer following the recent refurbishment.
