    "Overall good, but I needed that Internet access for working while I was waiting for a rental agreement to get finalised, which is why I chose that hotel in the first place." (108526932)

    Clean, quiet, convenient, great offer on "Unlimited Access" for broadband

    The table and chair combo in the "Executive" room isn't really suitable for extended typing, and the broadband access failed twice---the first time for two days. I hope they work out what the problem was with the router soon, and/or provide alternative access if it happens again.

    Regular user of this hotel. some of their single'business/executive rooms' are very small. really well furnished etc, but this one a little claustrophobic.

    I booked this hotel as a treat for my son and his girlfriend . They both enjoyed there stay immensely. They where impressed with the cleanliness of the room and its facilities.

    Room was clean, bathroom was nice.

    Hot water tap provided cold water, cold water tap provided hot. Bedroom was very small and dark. No instructions on phone (i.e. how to obtain outside line), tele, music system etc. Nearest parking space was a fair distance away as very limited parking for hotel - not clearly explained on website.

    The reception staff were very friendly & informative. Special mention to Michelle.

    The door handle to the bathroom was detached .The shower bracket was loose.My husband was bitten by bed bugs.However the door handle & shower bracket were fixed the next day.

    Great location and the hotel beutiful building. Staff moved us to a better room.

    The carpet in on the stairs was alost worn through and bare. The first room we were given (double executive) room 16 was tiny and cramped (barely a double let alone executive), the mattress was so old you could visibly see a dnet where people sat on the side of the bed. Also the mattress was very soft. No air conditioning. Extremely cheap blue lino used ing the bathroom of room 17 which was bubbling up, surely a nicer one could be used to replace it. Very limited parking.

    Staff friendly, hotel quiet

    Room very small, insufficient room tea/coffee/snack facilities compared with other Bristol hotels I have stayed in recently. Full breakfast took a full half hour to arrive. There was a human hair entwined in the poached eggs.

    This hotel has everything I could have asked for great location, fantastic food I would recommend the restaurant to everyone and the staff were very helpful. I am already planning my next weekend.

    very helpful staff and beautiful building. lovely facilities - ie coffee & tea selection.

    Very strong smell of paint outside our room, which was being painted at the time of staying. Lovely refurbished room but finishing touches were spoilt by the final finish i.e in the bathroom there were holes in the wall, tiles on floor not grouted and skirting board not attached. The brand new bath also had a large chip in the enamel next to the plug hole. Light switch outside the bathroom was lovely and shiny but ruined by a big dent behind it. Curtains were of lovely quality but not big enough! These things, alough did not detract from our enjoyable stay, were more noticable because everything was so new.

    Clean and well presented. Staff were helpful.

    Could not open fridge in room. One of the pieces of fruit left in the room was bad. There was a kettle in the room but no milk for the tea (although it may have been in the fridge I couldnt open)

    the ground coffee & cafetier was a welcome and pleasant touch, good selection of teas, coffees etc in the room and a small bowl of fruit. the staff were friendly and polite.

    wasn't any really, apart from the lack of a good sized towel in the bathroom. Most hotels I've stayed in never have decent sized towels, climbing out of the shower to be greeted by a towel that is not much bigger than a hand towel is not fun. I would gladly pay extra for a large fluffy bathrobe instead.

    Friendly and helpful staff, cosy room.

    Thin walls - on the top floor you can pretty much hear everything from the next room - but fortunately we had quiet neighbours so this was not a problem for us.

    good welcome from reception, pleasant common areas

    stained carpet, cramped and tatty ensuite, situation of room in basement opposite some form of kitchen! noisy as soon as people wake up, banging doors nextdoor and on the floorboards upstairs and so would be terrible if you wanted a lie in.

    Clean, fresh, bright. The fresh fruit was a nice touch.

    The bed was the most uncomfortable I've slept in in the last 20 years. I could feel all the springs! The fridge door refused to open.
