    Nice little hotel in a good location. Easy access to transport.

    Front staff could be a little friendlier, a few more smiles would be nice.

    "to start i couldnt open the door with my key, therefore everytime i wanted to go back into my room someone had to open it for me, which was highly annoying. my room was awful the main light did not work therefore i had to keep the bathroom light on when i wanted to get ready. There were pubic hairs on my sheets therefore i slept on top of them with a blanket over me; there was no door on the wardrobe and at 8 o'clock in the morning there was drilling and some sort of building work outside my room. Overall for 81 euros i truely felt i was ripped off; i ddint choose a hostel as i thought a two star hotel would be much better, but next time i will truely think again and i will definately not return to hotel notre dame."     i booked a double room conforter - obviously thinkintg that it would be a double bed HOWEVER what i realised was that they meant Twin room and i therfore had a room with 2 beds

    It was clean but basic and fairly central

    Heating didn't appear to work and was a bit cold in the mornings. The bathroom facilities were very basic.

    Friendly and helpfull staff. Good quiet place not far from centre.

    Old and frayed conditions of the room. Frayed towels. May be I'm wrong, if say it is not good for this money.

    hôtel calme et proche métro

    attente à la réception à l'arrivée (ordi qui rame) personnel qui signale que le petit déjeuner est servi jusqu'à 10 h alors qu'il est 9h50, chambre avec salle de bain exigue, réclamation serviette, papier hygienique en supplément, etc...

    Location

    Check in arrangement - We check in smoothly. When we move our thing to the room, found a bag inside. We then took the bag to the reception and was told that some one had leave the bag there after check out. We were assure can stay at the room. When we drop the key before going out in about 10 minutes time later, we were inform that we need to move to the other room (due to previously wrongly assigned room). We went upstair again and open the other room and found a man in the newly assigned room ??? We then went down to reception to inform them about this (go up and down 4 times by now) and was requested to talk to the man so that we exchange room. We had booked double room, but until the day we check out we have only single towel, soap, etc.. We requested for hair dryer but was informed they don't have one.

    Area was safe and close to the Metro offering easy access to all the sites in Paris. Staff friendly and helpful.

    My room was clean and basic but the curtains, bed linen, carpets and furniture were a little old in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in for that price.

    not much apart from the fact there were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby it was also inexpensive but given the quality of the hotel i wouldnt have paid more

    the rooms were appalling they were shabby and stuffy and there was no air conditioning. Our room had a dodgy door that you had to force open brutally and when staff were asked to sort this out they simply told us to push harder and would not let us swap rooms. the maid inparticular was very rude and not at all helpful. Also it advertises that breakfast is included in the price, this is not true as there is a 6 euro supplement per person per day for this.The beds were uncomfortable the shower was dirty and it was very noisy, I wouldnt choose this accomodation again.

    "This hotel shoudl serve most guests well. For older and physically impaired, do not take 6th floor rooms - the elevator ends at the 5th- 24 hour reception, with pleasant staff. We would like to stay here again, and we have already recommended it to several people." (3304847629)

    The hotel location makes easy access to St Lazare and the Metro. It is on a side street and fairly quiet. The buffet breakfast was very good.

    Nothing to complain about -- the weather was extremely hot but the staff did what they could to ameliorate this.
