    "Adequate, though it was frustrating that it took me twice as long as usual to have a shower as I was perpetually having to adjust the temperature, and this meant getting out of the bath and because the water went scalding or freezing in a matter of seconds. This made me late. Also it wasn't clear from the website that breakfast would be continental." (108886847)

    Being able to take my breakfast up to my room was helpful.

    The shower ran hot and cold and was very difficult to use. There was no bathmat. The hotel was unable to provide soya milk with the breakfast cereal. The hotel was in the process of being decorated and there were dust sheets spread along the corridors. The air smelt strongly of paint. It would've been nice if the staff had apologised for this as part of their welcome. I couldn't find any instructions for the TV and there was no Channel 5.

    "Did not feel it was worth £70.00 each room. Uncomfortable sofa bed, which one of my teenage children had to sleep in as was given a double bed for brother and sisters." (108552936)

    Receptionist was very welcoming and dealt with us very efficiently, arranged for breakfast to be available early.

    Bathroom floor not clean, looked like someone had swept but not behind the door in a very long time, cobwebs, bits of fluff, etc, built up behind door, noticeable when door shut.

    nice breakfast, helpful staff

    not enough bedding or towels. had to ask for travel cot despite emailing in advance to request it. when it arrived, it was broken although usable. bedding was also in poor condition (holes in sheets etc). bathroom not v clean - had a guest earwig!!

    Very good staff and well located hotel

    The smell coming out of the room next door - the door to teh corridoor had been left open to air it, however, the other guests then had to suffer the constant smell in the corridoor when walking past.

    The check-in process was fast and efficient.

    The Days Inn website was not offering inclusive breakfast whereas booking the accommodation through an on-line agent offered breakfast.

    Staff were very efficient. Hotel was clean and well presented.

    Very chaotic entering service station as it was on a saturday in August. Shower not very good, variable hot water. Towels very old and rough.

    Very friendly and efficient reception staff. Convenient location, just off the motorway. Modern TV with good reception. Plenty of work space. Trouser press and ironing facilities in room ready to use. Good lighting for working.

    Small bath, very shallow. Room now looking rather dated. Premier Travel Inns have raised the bar. These days no-one should be charging for Wi-Fi, it should bed freely available - £10 for 24 hours non acceptable. In Cornwall this year, small hotels and B&B's are offering free Wi-Fi!

    Car parking is completely inadequate for a motel of this size and many cars are forced into the lorry park with consequent risk of damage. There appears to be adjacent space to incorporate many more cars securely and these alterations should be undertaken.

    It was clean and well equiped, not noisy either as we were at the rear and sheltered by trees. Liked the new TV; & trouser press meant I could sort out suit prior to wedding etc. I have a very bad back and the bed was good. Nice to be able to open windows.

    Found actual road to hotel but it needs obvious sign to say park here for hotel as it is hidden when in car. Not enough milk for teas/coffees had to get some more, no instructions for TV / alarm operation. Perhaps could do with two pillows as just one is very flat !

    "As an over-night stop-off we were quite satisfied with the facilities, the staff friendliness and the check-in process." (108255200)

    The room was clean and very adequate for our use. Breakfast was unhurried with everything available as expected. Good coverage on TV. The reception staff had all our details ready for us as we arrived. All we had to do was fill in a few minor detais (e.g. car registration number)and pay.

    The room fittings were rather 'tired'. The wash-basin was cracked, parts of the chipboard tops in the bathroom had swelled up and split.

    "We have been staying at Gordano every year for over ten years now and have noticed how the place is in desperate need of referbishing. The rooms, equipement and decor are tired and shabby looking. The facilities although adequate are not exactly modern especially as the room price is in line with other newer travel lodge establishments. We really do not understand why there are not rooms with single beds rather than the very lumpy and uncomfortable sofa beds -I wonder if any manager has tried to sleep on one!!" (107879499)

    Position of hotel for overnight stay between North and Cornwall breaks journey nicely. friendly staff and adequate facilities for overnight stay only. good idea being able to have breakfast in reception rather than battling in the adjoining busy service station.

    Beds uncomfortable and need new mattresses. Bathrooms need replacing and tiling. Carpets and floor coverings worn on places. We had to make up the sofa bed ourselves as it hadn't been done which although was not a problem at 11pm with a tired child we could have done without having to do. Breakfasts are expensive at £5.99 each for just toast and cereal. Although there are sufficient parking spaces it would be good to have some parent and child ones as well as disabled like most supermarkets do.

    we were a family of 2 adults, 1 teenager and 2 dogs. the room was spacious and more than adequate for our 1 night stopover to cornwall.the hotel was well placed at the services and off the junction. the room, an upstairs one was really quiet. we all had a good nights sleep for our continuing journey.
