    "It was a cheap bed for the night, but would not recommend. Would not stay again." (108389452)

    TV in room (Signal ok on a few channels). Kettle, teabags, coffee and mini fridge with milk in room.

    Very very bad smell throughout. Very unclean bathroom in state of disrepair. Poor water pressure so shower not possible, no plug for bath. No curtain in bathroom (so you are visible from outside while trying to shower). Heating not working in room. Noisy (busy road outside). No curtain (roller blind that does not keep the light out).

    Bathrooms were awful, no blinds, shower curtain, young girl on check-in clueless. No facility to pay by card, basement room first occupied for 2 minutes-window lock broken, check-in unaware, or maybe they were? curious.

    $50 for a room for 3 people was the only good point

    Poor parking (we had to park on one of the side streets and ended up getting a ticket because of it), the hotel wasn't very well looked after, the whole place seemed very unprofesional e.g. the check in desk was a shody desk located in a kitchen type room, our heating was turned on through the night with no way of turning it off, our window handle has falling off, the bathroom facilites weren't the best with untidy looking appliances and a lock on the door which din't look the most stable.

    It was a good price for London, and it is close to a Tube station, near Heathrow. The room was simple but quite. We had to leave very early on Saturday to catch the plane so being near the tube is nice.

    When we got there they would not take a credit card as they have advertised and done before( I have stayed here before) I was lucky I tried to pay in advance because this was the end of our trip and we never carry that much money in cash. We had to take out a cash advance from our card( which throws it into a higher interest rate than a charge, plus a fee) they did deduct 10 pound off for the fee. But we still payed more in the long run. I feel they should have notified us before hand. I probably would have switched hotels. I purposely booked hotels that only took credit cards.

    The room that I checked into wasn't secure, as the window catch was broken. I was shown into two other rooms and none of the rooms had a working latch. I told the receptionist that I could stay in a room which wasn't secure. I declined to stay, asked for my money back, but was refused.

    Easy to find and easy access to entertainment and town.

    We could not shut the window when we went out so had to take things with us. It was not made clear that breakfast was do it yourself in the room and had to sit on bed to eat it. No towels. Nowhere to hang clothing. Awake at 5pm with noise not sure what it was. Sounded like someone having a shower constantly and blind was useless so to bright in the room.

    "A very disappointing weekend break and i suggest that if websites are going to advertise these sort of hotels they should check them out 1st as to me that place would be more suitable for giving the homeless a bed for the night to get them of the streets." (108558716)

    The only good point about this hotel was the booking process

    On arrival at the hotel as soon as we drove onto the driveway was "oh no". We went inside, the office was very basic and we could not pay by card as it said the systems were down. Going up to the room was not a good impression as it was all old and looked like the place was not taken care of. We assumed we were en suite but it was a shared bathroom and that was disgusting.The floor was all uneven,the walls had all holes in it, the bath and shower looked like nobody used it as it was just disgusting. The breakfast that you were given was a do it yourself in your room, there was 3 of us and in the fridge in your room was 3 sandwich bags with 2 slices of bread each to do your own toast, 3 butter pats and 3 boxes of cornflakes and then you would have to sit on your bed to eat, we did not bother, we went out for breakfast. Our visit was a 2 night stay but after we had been to see the Walking with Dinosaurs the next day we cut our stay short and went home.....very disappointed.

    We had to wait past the check in time to get into our room. The bed was all springs and the carpet and lamps were filthy. The coffee maker did not work. The bathroom was discusting.It was noisy and the breakfast was Cereal and a piece of white bread. We did not eat it. We had to ask for towels as they forgot to put them in the room.

    "The hotellier request CASH when I booked in.The rooms had a frideg that needed difrosting and the toasted was on a shelf in a vunerable fire hazard position, the beds were with broken slats and a piece of timber to hold the centre up and the floor under the beds was dirty had not been cleaned for months, generally as a Chartered Surveyor the environmental health dept would make a field day visiting the premises, legally as a chartered surveyor the hotel did not comply with fire percautions means of escape and should be refurbished. If you are going to promote hotels in London maybe its an idea to visit them before you recommend them and not lead clients to a Hotel of this nature." (108250279)

    The bathroom was shared and distgusting, flooring broken with floor boards visible,the bath noone used as it was distgusting with white sealer all over the edges, no seal, no towels in bathroom, toilet roll holder broken, generally very very poor.

    1) Friendly, helpful staff 2) spotlessly clean 3) good value for money 4) convenient location 2 minute walk from South Ealing tube station 5) On the Piccadilly tube line (just 21 min. tube journey direct to Heathrow) 6) Handy convenience store just a 30-sec. walk away

    1) No internet access available locally 2) Breakfast was not what I'd consider to be breakfast in a B&B--no cooked meal, just 2 white bread slices in a plastic wrapper stored in a mini-fridge in the room, with a toaster, butter and jam; and 2 mini packages of Kellogg's corn flakes with a bowl and milk in the fridge. This does not deserve being called "breakfast" even in continental terms. On the other hand I was leaving so early in the morning for a flight I didn't want to eat anyways. 3) No chairs in the room 4) Mattress quality is poor/lumpy 5) didn't take credit cards 6) no towel in room; had to ask

    Staff very friendly & helpful

    Room not ready on arrival at 6pm. Toilet cistern took ages to refill because of badly installed pipework. Fridge made loud humming noise.(I switched it off to sleep)

    very close proximity to london undwrground and heathrow airport where i needed to continue with my journey the following day

    i missed understood the booking system where i thought i had allready paid online only to told on arrival that payment was required.the chip and pin machine was out of order so i had to go back out to withdraw cash.not a major problem though

    Nice staff, polite. Easy to get to from tube stop.

    Bedspread stained, shower drain clogged, dirty floors, stained walls in bathroom, no rubbish bin anywhere in room or bathroom, broken support beam in bed frame (under mattress). The breakfast as advertised is two pieces of white bread, corn flakes, and milk. Not what I had imagined.

    absolutely disgusting hotel, didn't stay, no heating although it was the middle of winter, no towels, very thin quilt, everything was filthy............left the hotel feeling terrble, didn't stay as we couldn't face it but still had to pay......terrible!

    I didn,t book the hotel over the internet but used an agency who found it and booked it for me and assured me that it was a nice place.

    The quote was £55 and this was still chargable if I cancelled, so after seeing the place I didn't want to stay there but had to.

    Nice chap who worked there although he wasn't available in the morning until 10.00 so I had to leave the money on the bed.

    dirty room, rubbish outside the bedroom window. terrible bed. TV had a coat hanger for an arial. No cup in the bathroom and no indication of hot/cold so I burned my upper lip on teh scalding water that suddenly came out. Fridge a plus but water leaked out of the bottom. Generally a bad place to stay apart from the nice fellow who worked there.

    "I would not recommend Ealing Guest house to anyone, regardless of age, gender or financial disposition. My wife and I stayed at this guest house during a 3 week tour of Europe. All of our hotels were approximately the same price, but this experience was, by far, the worst we've ever had. The one advantage this place has is it's location. It is approximately 30 minutes from downtown London by tube, but only 15 minutes from Heathrow airport. We had an early flight and enjoyed our quick commute to the airport. Regardless of location and price, do not stay here. We did not feel safe and it is difficult to sleep when surrounded by the filth and squalor of this guest house. " (107538490)

    1. Location is midway between London and Heathrow airport.

    1. Ealing Guest House did not have record of our reservation for a room with a bathroom en suite. The room we reserved was not available. We provided the confirmation that had been e-mailed to us, but this did not help. We were given a room without a bathroom as a substitute. We were offered a 5 pound discount, but negotiated a 10 pound discount per night. 2. Although Ealing Guest House claims to accept Visa and Mastercard, they demanded cash and would not accept credit cards. We were told they had a problem with credit cards, but were not told what this problem was. 3. No one was present at the guest house when we arrived at 4pm. We had to wait on the door step until someone showed up to let us in. 4. We were locked out of the guest house on our first night. The code we were given for the door did not open the door because a secondary lock had been engaged. We had to find a pay phone to ask someone to let us in. We were told that our nocking, door bell ringing and shouting at the front door was not heard because the man running the guest house was watching television. 5. The door latch to our room was hanging off the door and not functional although we were able to lock the door with the key provided. 6. The walls of our room were covered in many stains. The shades to the windows were tattered and filthy and one fell off the wall when I attempted to open it. 7. Of the two nights we stayed, breakfast was only provided once. Breakfast consisted of a piece of white bread, a small box of corn flakes and some milk left in our room the night before.

    There were no good points

    The room had a tv with no place to plug it in. There was an 8foot high window with 4foot high curtains. There was no towel,soap or shampoo available for to have a shower. The ensuite was dirty and seemed like it was not cleaned for a while. The back garden has 3foot of grass on it, all in all the place has not been inproved in a very long time.

    Was there any good points? no

    As the guy showed us the room, he said it was cash only??? unlike the details on the booking form; the room was very dirty and stains everywhere, on walls,doors! the state of the bathroom(to share with other rooms!) was disgusting so we decided not to stay there. Definatly WOULD NOT recommend!
