    "We do enjoy staying at the hotel and so book to stay whenever we can. However we have noticed a drop in the qaulity of the restuarant over the past 1 1/2 years and the professionalism of the bar/restaurant staff." (108271684)

    Check in staff (and front of house) are very professional and very good at their jobs.

    The rooms are starting to look a little tired for a 4* hotel and the bar and restaurant staff need to work on presentation/manners/prefessionalism for a 4* hotel.

    Room was fantastic on 14th floor with views over Cardiff. Food in restaurant was varied, hot and plentiful. Could not fault our stay one bit.

    This is my first time to travelling in Cardiff. Since I arrived the hotel, the staff of the reception were friendly and helpful. They provided detail imformation both in shopping and travelling. I therefore settled down very soon in an unfamiliar city. Moreover, my accommodation was upgraded from standard double bed room to deluxe room with double bed and sofa.

    As a deluxe room in 4 stars hotel, there were several things needed to be concerned: 1. Only one cup for drinking was provided. I suggest providing two cups and two tea spoons as a minimum in a deluxe room. 2. The standing lamp besides the sofa was out of function. 3. The inside of the refrigerator had not yet been clean. It's sticky with stain. 4. One curtain could not be tightly closed due to some hanging hooks were broken/lost.

    Staff were very polite and very efficient, without being overly friendly.

    Stayed on 9th floor - this is the second time we have stayed here and the windows of the rooms are very dirty indeed.

    "Very good overall however price was far too dear and the hotel played on the fact that rooms in the city were at a premium due to the event being held at the millenium stadium. whilst I can understand a certain amount of inflated cost due to demand but not the amount that was charged" (108572115)

    Besutiful room, perfect location and wonderful spa! the staff were nice too.

    The shower in the room was absolutely dreadful!!! It kept stopping and starting, then running freezing cold! It was a total disappointment

    Good room with great view.

    Were given wrong info regarding car park. It only takes cars of 1.8m. Restaurant extremely dissapointing. 'A la Carte' features burger and chips, cod and chips, sausage and mash etc. Not what you would find in a 4* hotel - apart from the prices perhaps.

    quite good facilities, comfortable bed, nice bathroom.

    extortionately priced wine. Food good but overproced and nothing to get excited about. Maid service knocked door at 8am - luckily I was awake.

    nice decent clean hotel- excelelnt facilities albeit on an overnight stay i didn'thave time to to use them

    this is a unfair criticism- it would have been nice to have got the room earlier and when we arrived at 12.00 but i had no right to expect that. Also- what about having some welsh language stuff? visitrs to wales like to feel they are in a foreign place and you could highlight that,a nd support welsh language by having more bilingual signs info etc

    "I'm a big 4 seasons fan, so I can honestly say this is a great hotel at a very reasonable price. Would usually have had to pay 2 to 3 times as much for the room, food and service - so genuine great value all round. If you go to Cardiff - stay here, I know I will next time." (107534573)

    Pretty much everything - dinner in the restaurant was great, room was great, staff were great, price was great - will definitely book this hotel again when I'm in Cardiff.

    Hotel room was lovely and big, great view, bed massive, couldnt fault the service of hotel, 2 little bottles of shampoo/shower gel came in handy as didn;t take shower gell with me, sure if I'd asked would have been provided with some more, plenty of towels and water nice and hot

    Thought there would have been soap in the bathroom for general hand washing, waiter was bit eager taking breakfast plates away, we hadn;t really finished but didn;t like to say, the room was great but needed a bit of tlc, few chips on furniture, tea/coffee stain on one of the chairs, the shower door bit grubby at the bottom expected bit more from a 4* room, do think the charge

    Staff very professional and friendly

    Lots of tv channels not working and I don t think the room was cleaned properly. There was hair on the floor in the toilet and a stain underneath the loo seat

    Large rooms.Very convenient for City centre.Very good leisure centre with plenty of aerobic machines.Bit short on weight machines.Easy use car park with direct indoor access to lobby.

    A few stains on chairs & carpets in my room.

    "Gerenally the hotel was good, the entrance was light and airy but with a strong smell of chlorine from the pool. The views from our 11th floor room were excellant. While the breakfast was good, you had to que for any hot food - often into the midst of guest eating theirs. We had one meal at the hotel which was very nice but we had to wait quite a long time in between courses. There was also a charge of £26.00 for car parking which I thought, as a paying guest already, was excessive. This hotel was £120 per room per night and I just expected more from a 4* hotel. I don't think we would use this hotel again." (97999745)

    Good location, near to venue and shopping

    Breakfast (queing) bed (hard and lots of spring to dig in!) Changing room for pool etc was comunual and some showers were not working. They also were not cleaned from Friday evening to Saturday morning as there was still wet debris on the floor

    Spacious, clean . Excellent breakfast.

    Problem with basin plug control in bathroom - reported to manager. One of the double glazed windows had failed and was misty on the glass
