    Helpfulness of staff. Comfortable room and bed.

    Disappointed there were no facilities for a disabled person e.g. ground floor room. I personally had great difficulty climbing the stairs.

    Ideal location to see the Cairngorms and also the area where the hotel is is quite peaceful and helps to relax.

    food out of this world,would visit again just for food.gordon ramsay eat your heart out!it was that good.we stayed in 6 different hotels that week and no where came close to matching food

    the room and bed were small ,we are a large couple and felt the DOUBLE bed too small.room its self lovely ,very clean ,

    Comfortable,Child friendly and not the usual row of boxes that i have stayed in.The location was terrific. My whole party loved it. Will certainly stay there again but, for longer next time.

    Friendly helpful staff. Clean pleasently furnished room. Beaytifully cooked and prepared dinner. The lunch sandwiches and home baking were good value and freshly made.

    The room faced the road. Luckily for me the road was quiet at night during my stay.

    "the hotel was very comfortable and homely. the staff we are very nice and friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. the highlight of the hotel is the food!! the food is absolutely fantastic and nice to see local produce been used and cooked well. the hotel is nicely situated just outside of aviemore. so you are not disturbed at night by the bigger hotel complexes in the town. also you are only a few minutes drive from any of the local attractions and the cairngorms. i would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again and again. thank you to all the staff at the Rowan Tree Country Hotel" (99777357)

    Very clean . Lovely location . Delicious food. Friendly service. Prepared meal for us even though we were delayed on our journey there.

    2 Adults and 2 children staying in a small room wasent good enough.Not enough room very crampy.we had to put our suitcase in the toilet.We shouldnt have payed the amount we paid for the room we stayed in.

    "Knew of this hotel and its location from previous visit 10 yrs ago+. Ideally situated out of the hustle of Aviemore. Nearby trains(& frequency of) a source of interest rather than annoyance - is that the London sleeper?. Much better than remembered. Very comfortable, very friendly. Despite management's experience, the totally comprehensive gravel parking IS very difficult for motorbikes, esp heavily-laden tourers. A small area of hard standing would be a luxury! All-in-all, a very pleasant and fairly priced experience." (3304851412)

    Splendid room; Great to see fresh coffee in room. Very flexible evening meal/dining - helpful to small appetites!

    Very little; television poor & few channels (maybe missed explanation in guest book) - remote batteries dud. No towels - but that was just an oversight.
