    Very neat and tidy Very clean and neat apartment. Pleasant modern décor Amazingly fast microwave-grill oven! Close to the city centre and sights Only one block away from a supermarket

    TV sound kept falling away. (But could be fixed by tapping the side of the TV)

    The apartment was clean but very basic. It was in a good location - easy walking distance to the main shopping area of the city.

    Very small. Very basic. Quite noisy (the rooms weren't very soundproof - you could hear people coming in and out of their apartments - particularly in the room above.

    "We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Luna. The manager & staff were extremely accommodating & truly went out of their way to make our stay as wonderful as possible. The location of this hotel was great, right in the center of the city. The kitchen was well furnished & allowed us to save some money by cooking.     "The location of the apartments is very central and conventient (just a 5 minute walk from the harbour or the Cathedral) with a 'mini market' and a bakers nearby. The satellite TV had CNN, Sky news, BBC World, and Discovery channels + a DVD player (There is a DVD hire shop 100m away) The hotel staff were excellent in helping to arrange local transport and excursions. I would definitely recommend the apartments." (3304186894)

    "The hotel itself was in a fantastic section of the city, and it was clean and comfortable. We could eat in and we had a lot of space. Our biggest problem is that no one told us we needed to check in up the street at the Hotel Odinsve, so we stood outside the Luna House for 10 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong. Also, there are two double beds instead of a single bed, so be prepared for that. I don't know what caused the cigarette smoke smell, but it was very strong when you first walked in; it stayed that way all 3 nights we were there." (2914870)

    The room had great amenities like a stove, refrigerator, glasses, and plates all there, which was good for eating in. It was clean and provided a lot of space. It was restful being in the room after a long day of sightseeing.

    The room smelled like cigarette smoke the whole time we were there, though at least you couldn't tell after a few minutes.

    "A clean and well-equipped apartment. My one suggestion is that, when we arrived, there was no reception and we did not know where to collect a key. Eventually, we found the telephone number of the owner, who was at a nearby hotel. This information should have been made clear to us before we arrived. Otherwise, excellent!" (2888867)

    "The Luna is ideally located, close enough to many attractions to walk, but far enough away to be quiet at night. The apartment hotel option is very economical and allowed us to have breakfast as late as we wanted to. The wireless internet connectivity allowed us to keep in touch with family and get timely updates about Auroral activity!" (3304439404)

    Having kitchen facilities available was great, and the room was in a quiet area.

    As is the case in many hotels, the drain in the shower was clogged with hair and drained very slowly.

    In a great loction, close to the main area of Reykjavik, however still quiet to enjoy your stay. Accommodation was very clean and with good facilities - kitchennette a great bonus to our stay.

    Situated in downtown but still a very peaceful street. Nice and professional manager, new and clean interior -absolutely worth the money.

    The check-in of other guests after mid-night could be less noisy.

    "nothing extra the site provided enough information, but some more pis of all room types would have been good so i would have known that the room had a single bed. But the hotel was great, good facilities and great to be able to cook for yourself as eating out in iceland is exorbitant. compared to asian prices the room was expensive - but considering it is in iceland the price compared very favourably with other accomodation. Location was really good only minutes to walk almost anywhere in central reykjavik. overall very comfortable and great to have wireless internet in the room." (1556762)

    room was a bit small and no where to sit other than on the bed. single beds - i hate them i cant understand why they are still the standard for single accomodation in europe

    "It was all as described. The top floor (2 1/2 flights of stairs) gave a great view and airy living space. Grocery store opposite was open whenever we wanted it. The town is 5 minutes walk down a moderate hill. I travelled with my 80 year old mother and 6 month old nephew, (great cot and bedding was priovided). There is an unguarded short flight of stairs, which might be a danger to crawling babies & toddlers. The owner was very helpful and it was excellent." (1475894)

    "Luna Hotel Apartments has a great location, walking distance to downtown Reykjavik. It is near a grocery store and bakery. The manager is friendly and very helpful in making arrangements for guests unfamiliar with Iceland. The room we had was compact but had everything we needed: private bathroom, TV, phone, microwave, etc. On the down side, parking spots are sometimes hard to find near the hotel, especially at night."     Close to shops. Relaxing, comfortable lounge room, friendly owner.

    I thought it was very expensive but I feel this is just Reykjavik in general. In comparison to other places in Reykjavik it was good value.

    "We really enjoyed our stay at the Luna. The apartment we stayed in, as well as the larger apartment we saw, were both nicely appointed, clean and adequate for what we wanted. The studio apartment is essentially one room with a bathroom off of it. The kitchen area is about half the main room, with the bedroom area and closet space making up the other half. The larger apartment is about the same, just with two rooms instead of one. In that apartment, there was a bathroom, small bedroom and small separate living room/dining room. We would have preferred to stay in the larger room, but with the amount of money we were spending on the entire trip, we decided against it. As I said above, the Luna is in a great location, close to the city center (within easy walking distance), very close to a small grocery store (we could see it from our window) and not too far from the either of the two bus stations in town (probably a 15-minute or so walk away)."     The Luna Guesthouse is located right in the middle of downtown Reykjavik, which was a great advantage for us. All our tour operators and taxi drivers were able to find the guesthouse pretty easily. It also served as a great starting point to explore the city center. We stayed in a studio apartment which was a bit small considering the amount of time we stayed there (8 nights), but it was certainly adequate with kitchen facilities that allowed us to cook many of our meals. The hotel manager was very friendly and offered us advice on some of the sites as well as practicalities. Overall, we had a very good experience at Luna.

    Our studio apartment was kind of small. This of course was our choice, as a larger apartment was available, but the cost of staying there (or just about anywhere else in Reykjavik) was prohibitive.
