bedden waren goed
voorzieningen /faciliteiten waren er niet, s'nachts luidruchtige gasten het hotel was aftands en sterk verouderd bijna geen water uit de douche ontbijd was sumier

Ample parking, rooms appear to have been recently redecorated including new carpeting. Beds comfortable. Toilet and shower area were fairly new, shower worked very well. Ample breakfast but see below.
No bedside lamps, ceiling lights too bright and two were hanging off. No T.V remote and aerial hanging off. Cooked breakfast available but eggs and bacon were cold and tea only warm.

Why should I call to reception to say that there is no hand towel or no toilet paper in teh roon at all? It all should been sorted prior to our arrival

the hotel was fairly clean, prices were resonable, travelling to the city was quite easy, although we should use several public transports
the english breakfast was terrible- one egg, ham and beans and sausage- every morning*there should be some variations: omelett, vegetables, tomatos etc. the stair and carpets are horrify*there was firealarm in the last morning- that was frightening because of narrow stairs and corridors. the firedoor was closed by the lock.

The room carpet was rotten. The TV and hair dryer did not work. There was no hot water. The breakfast was like eating rubber.

Cheap, no frills Hotel for football fans. As breakfast was included it represented value for money. Absolute loads of hot water for two baths too.
Didn't expect anything spectacular for the price so no complaints.

Seemed secure,close to bus stop,room cleaned daily and friendly staff
There was NO heat in the bathroom; it was FREEZING,sheer torture-none of the rooms had heat in the bathroom!!!Was very run down around the rooms, stained carpets, had to put the kettle on the floor to make tea and no table lamps in the room either!

Really good value for money. £44 for bed and full English breakfast coupled with a TV and fridge in the room is remarkably good value in London.
There was no hot water in the room on either morning. Despite my complaint on my first morning nothing appeared to have been done. There was a shower but I couldn't use it! I was promised money back on my card but two days on there is no sign of it!!

once staff understood I wasn't a woman of "loose morals" they were really lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, especially Mr Singh.
The shower was no more than a trickle, I have long hair and I had to wash it in the sink. The toilet bowl was cracked, cobwebs hung from the ceiling and there were two pest control boxes in the room that could be seen from the bed.

"The hotel was well situated for our visit to the Excel Centre only a few miles away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was fairly basic but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet as we were in rooms at the back of the hotel. There are a number of good pubs and a few restaurants nearby. We would certainly stay there again." (97941120)

Hotel refurbishing rooms. Room clean but tired and old TV and shower facilities. Breakfast room had been decorated and was bright roomy and breakfast and service first class.
Areas tired and need upgrade but appears to be ongoing

The room was quite cosy and good value for money. It is a very secure place and quite welcoming.
The general decor could do with some work, the shower heads, taps and sinks need some work as well.

Staff friendly and helpful, room good size. Breakfast good!
Hotel being done up but we were in a room that had not yet been done. There was a leak from the plumbing, carpets not that clean. Very noisy front room because of road and loud music from adjoining property at 8am sunday!

"Generally it was a comfortable stay. Breakfast was very good, service was friendly and helpful when questions were asked. 24 hour front desk was good, didn't have to worry about staying too late out in town. Pretty close to the city, and the train station." (97184479)

Not much was explained on check-in, e.g breakfast times. Not too many 'local' brochures provided!

I liked the location, it was only around the corner from forest gate station which leads to the central line to go anywhere. Ian the receptionist who greeted us was lovely and he even moved us to a room beside were our friends were staying!!
the shower pressure was very very poor had to use the shower for basic rooms

Needs updating. Very basic bathroom with dirty-looking old shower with broken cubicle, dripping taps and the door jams shut. Dated interior. Rough area.

Hotel is / wordt gerenoveerd. Vooral de kantine is een hele verbetering. Hotel is in zijn geheel genomen keurig
Op het hoofdeinde van het bed zat een hele lelijke, smerige plek van onbekende aard. Doorgegeven aan receptie met het verzoek hier iets aan te doen. Badkamer is helemaal gerenoveerd, maar achter de wastafel is een stukje niet gedaan en dit zie er smerig uit. (Je kijkt hier automatisch naar als je op het toilet zit!)
