    Nice friendly staff, nice beer, good breakfast and close to my business meeting at Dundonald G.C. Free wireless internet very good and a welcome change from the voucher jobbies that charge £5 for an hour.

    Excellent food. friendly and very efficient staff. very comfortable room. no parking problems. Quite location with no traffic or rowdy noise.

    rooms very like travel inns , BUT much cleaner and classier with some nice touches and brighter colours.

    "The hotel was very modern but with a cosy feel, the rooms were very comfortable and the king size bed luxurious. The only thing to mention was the menu displayed at the outside entrance to the dining room was out of date - but when we mentioned to the waitress a notice was put there to say new menu inside. Overall a very nice hotel near to golf courses and Ayr, with friendly helpful staff." (97505958)

    I was put into the penthouse for the price of a standard room. The room was fantastic and the staff were excellent.

    no one mentioned bed and breakfast that was included in the price, no idea where breakfast was served or timescales

    "We chose to stay at Gailes Hotel because of its close proximity to Prestwick Airport from where we had just flown in. We found it to be very reasonably priced,the food was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. In fact, we were sufficiently impressed to book in again for our return from the north of Scotland a week later and would have no hesitation in returning again in future. My only disappointment was that there was no swimmimg pool in the leisure centre!!" (97173454)

    The room was light, airy, quiet and welcoming, with the most comfortable, super - kingsize bed.

    Very friendly staff, lovely room, overall a good ambiance.

    Had to take a taxi from the train station i.e not walking distance if have some luggage. Accomodation fine to get to if arriving by car.

    "Fairly remote if travelling by public transport, although taxis fairly cheap. The restaurant was very welcoming and the food very reasonably priced, although the standard was somewhat variable. Staff excellent - very friendly and helpful" (99526549)

    Hotel was friendly and new

    Shower did not work correctly and required a change of room. Also the small number of power points was inconvinient, a surprise considering how new the hotel actually is

    The hotel was very clean. Decent sized bedroom with comfortable bed. Lovely big fluffy towels in bathroom. The floral displays in the hotel were lovely. Also liked the flame fires.

    "Friends in our party arrived early and had the benefit of discounted main meals 4 - 6pm and really pleased with quality of food. Saturday. Wish we had time to stay longer and use the Spa facilities." (3305455187)

    Extra Kingsize bed, bottle of water & fresh fruit in room, cleanliness of rooms and whole hotel, also space in bedroom.Lovely surroundings, very friendly staff.

    Breakfast finishing at 10pm on Saturday morning was a bit early after a late night party. Have stayed in other hotels which finish breakfast at 11am on weekends

    "Hotel relatively easy to find when driving from Prestwick airport in the dark. Interior bright, modern and tasteful to a high standard of finish. Nice art work on walls and fresh flowers. Bedroom surprisingly large and well equipped and clean. Big comfortable bed and modern bathroom. All modern facilities provided such as Sky TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities,fresh fruit, ironing board. Fabulous thick towels! Unaware of noise from road outside. Overall impression was that this hotel was 'brand new' and not a few years old, due to its immaculate condition! Breakfast was tasty, well presented and served in a bright and sunny room."     "I found your staff exceptional. Every request was dealt with efficiently and cheerfully. Everyone was polite and anxious to help in any way.
