    Proximity to town centre. Cleanliness and space in room. Indoor swimming pool and other facilities. Breakfast excellent.

    Parking - when returning to hotel late evening very difficult to park. Roadworks near hotel meaning we had to go all way round one way system to reach car park. Shower in room poor.

    "Stayed here now for our Autumn break for the last 4 years. The staff are very efficient. We stay on B@B basis because we like to frequent the different restaurants, the breakfast is excellent also the car park is a great puller for us." (108941334)

    Friendly service. Good knowledge of local services. Offered helpful information and advice.

    Good food and quite extensive menu - but boring - as this remained the same throughout the week.

    "The noise from the courtyard which surrounds the pool carries very loudly at night and spoils what would otherwise be a very pleasant experience." (108118782)

    Clean & comforatble with good food, service & good facilities.

    Rooms built around the pool. Very noisy guests talking loudly around the pool until 0230 am then people jumping in the pool and shouting and screaming. Staff eventually made them get out but they returned to carry on talking loudly again. Hardly any sleep at all. The receptionist appeared on first impressions to be curt and not very welcoming but on departure was friendly and helpful.

    The Apollo hotel is convenient for St. Helier city center and tourist attractions. The rooms and all facilities are clean. Every member of staff from front desk, restaurant to housekeeping is friendly, helpful and efficient.

    The offer of TV programs could be increased

    The Hotel De France is an excellent hotel with beautiful facilities. Staff are friendly and the service was excellent.

    The Apollo overbooked us but moved us to The Hotel De France. which was further away from the town than we would have liked.

    Petty I know, but there was a great big stool for dressing table, could not sit on it properly as when pulled out was squeezed up against twin beds and had to crawl on and off it!!! Room 122

    Efficient and helpfull

    Room a little tired Gym was main reason for choosing Apollo but was very limited and equipment wearing out Have now switched to another hotel with much bigger gym and swimming pool for two thirds of the price of the Apollo ie £32/night compared with £49

    Pleasant and helpful receptionists. Clean rooms. Friendly staff

    Bed a little hard. Furnishings and leisure facilities, particularly the men's changing room need refurbishing. Need to review smoking policy in outdoor leisure area as this impacted upon enjoyment of the facility.

    good facilities nice decore and well laid out design to public areas. Very nice extra large double bed comfy. Food good lots of choice at breakfast. Nice pool spa gym and sauna facilities

    shower pressure was not as good as it could be water kept changing tempeture. would have been nice to have facility to have a drink in room as bar shuts at between 11.00 and 12.atnight

    The room I was given was the smallest room I have ever had to stay in. When I asked for a change I was told the room actually was not to have been sold through an online booking agency. To change I would have to pay a significant rate adjustment. For this hotel to offer such small rooms (my bathroom at home is larger than the sleeping area of the room) is a fraud perpetrated on unsuspecting travelers. No one should experience such small rooms.

    Hotel is first class! I could not wish for better service, check out was before breakfast, but night reception person made sure I had something while waiting for taxi to arrive.

    Convenient to town centre. Porters were friendly.

    No parking space at front of hotel particularly for taxi drop on/off point.Restaurant meals and presentation need improvement. Not quite the standard expected in catering today. Food tasted dry as if left under warmer for too long and not sure the mashed potatoes were real or powdered.

    Staff were very helpful and pleasant. I felt a valued customer The cleanliness was probably the best I have seen for a long time

    Gym equipment needed better maintainance. Single room small difficult to manoevre around.
