    "The location is not very clearly signposted especially arriving in the dark ! (and I had visited area before ) Description on the hotel information of location is slightly confusing. All in all a pleasant stay and would like to return during the late spring when it is in full bloom." (99826853)

    Very quite and tranquil location, as required.Accomodation was clean and well maintained.

    Facilities basic but as only used as a base,no real problems.

    "Found the hotel OK but needed to be alert - smallish sign. Well situated to explore Carcassonne, Mirepoix, and Cathar country. Owners are delightful, friendly and very helpful.     "Very attractive hotel, but difficult to find as very small and rather misleading arrows. Bedrooms very pretty and host welcoming. Unfortunately no dinner available as large party also staying, but plenty of other restaurants in the vicinity. Hotel owner booked us dinner in an alternative cafe." (3304570729)

    "We very much enjoyed our stay here. We ate in the hotel the night we stayed. We had not planned this, but the meal was of excellent quality and value. It was refreshing to have a meal well made with simple ingredients, served in such lovely surroundings. The wine served with the meal was fantastic. We particularly liked the individual nature of this hotel - it is definitely not an impersonal 'chain hotel', and had lots of personality. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome."     We liked the personal touches. The hotel is charming and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.

    The signage to the hotel was a little small. We missed our turning twice, but we got there in the end.

    "Cet hôtel n'a pas de carte de restaurant, il n'y avait pas de séparation entre la chambre et la salle de bain, il manquait du savon, le petit déjeuner était frugal mais très cher.Pas de possibilité d'aérer en sécurité.Bref pour un 3 étoiles,il y'a moyen de faire mieux." (2472359)

    "The proprietors were a little inexperienced with regard to variety of menus. A larger selection of bicycles was needed, suitable for all ages, to enjoy the scenic area which lent itself to cycling. For mature couples, tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom is a bonus." (1425081)

    "'Charme' is the word. This was a lovely stopover, we would be most happy to spend more time here. The location was lovely, we enjoyed a pre-breakfast stroll along the lake shore. The welcome from the proprietors was lovely, they are keen to make their enchanting little hotel work and have taken care with the renovation of their property - we liked it very much. The set meal in the garden was lovely, we felt very pampered! The pool added to our enjoyment,relaxing and swimming to break our journey. We intended to make the journey part of our hoilday and this lovely hotel and the family there certainly helped to do just that. I would really like to return here and wish the family all the very best in their venture." (1357439)

    Keep a close look out for signs, this new hotel has found difficulties getting signage permission from all the local departments.
