    The staff were very pleasent. The breakfast was excellent. Grounds were lovely.

    Decore was a little tired in areas of the hotel.

    Excellent reception; friendly and supportive staff; high quality accommodation; relaxing atmosphere; excellent service and food.

    Except for the shower being a bit 'violent', no criticism.

    The staff very helpful and considerate. A lovely large garden and a very relaxing place to stay.

    Friendly staff. Large bedroom. Although busy on the Ssturday evening with a wedding reception the noise did not travel to the bedrooms.

    Excellent breakfast and the room was very spacious and warm. Bed and pillows were fantastic to help with good nights sleep.

    There was a Wedding on the night - as a result the guest staying in the room next to us woke me in the early hours. The girl was banging and kicking the door and shouting to be let in what seemed like hours, this disturbed my comfortable night sleep. I mentioned it to reception next morning but nothing was done or said further about it.

    Friendly greeting at reception, attentive staff, good dining experience.

    Very hot day and night inadequate ventilation, only two small windows opened.

    "I really find it hard to fault this hotel, based on my one nights stay.All the staff I came into contact with were pleasant,helpful and very friendly.The receptionist exceptional, restaurant staff cheerful and attentive. In all aspects of the Hotel, being a female travelling on my own,I felt very comfortable at all times. The only negative comment - the lift was out of order. Not a problem to me, but could be to some people." (97357183)

    Large, very well furnished room. Spacious, modern, very clean bathroom with luxury products. Extra touches eg. bottle of mineral water provided,selection of teas,coffee etc.iron/ironing board in room.

    If I really have to put something down,perhaps a room with a better view.

    i like the interior deco, which is warm and high quality. the external environment is also nice - near a small lake and very much country-side style. It's pity that I didn't get enough time to enjoy it.

    the layout. I have to walk a way from the reception to my room, which is the furthest room on the ground floor to the reception. Also the water pressure for the bath is too high and not adjustable.

    "I think I should have been informed if there was going to be a wedding party that took over the hotel, apart from that the whole experience was great and I would go back there again. Also the food was fantastic." (3305436831)

    The Hotel/Staff, and the setting was great.

    There was a wedding on and it seemed like they took over the whole place.

    General Hotel appearance excellant.

    "The online description was in order. Looking forward to a re-visit in the not too distant future. Had to question the bill at the end of our stay.     "The hotel is situated in very nice grounds which are a pleasure to stroll through. Checking in and out was swift and efficient. At all times the staff were very pleasant and eager to help. The staff were also very down to earth and friendly which created a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The room was marvellous, tastefully furnished but with all the facilities, in working order, that were needed. We were very sorry to leave and will return at the earliest opportunity. We were only 10 miles away from home but it felt like another world!" (2385312)
