    because I became ill we had to leave a day earlier. We were very pleased that we didn't have to pay for the last night. Thanks! I was very happy with a good working shower.

    Not enough blankets. I asked for more the next day and got them. For winter I would suggest to keep extra blankets in the room.

    Nice breakfasts.It looked lovely

    My quilt cover was ripped so when i got in bed it was uncomfortable. Yhe soap dispenser was empty. minimal amount of coffee/tea

    Helpful local lady at reception gave me a drink of water on our arrival as we had walked from railway station, not sure of where hotel was from centre. made sure we had extra pillows, could use the key card correctly and got us a twin room which we booked instead of double that was given to us.

    Manager not very interested that we were hot & tired. Gave us a double room although we had booked twin and sent us to 1st floor when apparently ground floor rooms were available.

    "The area of the hotel is not very nice, because of the industrial harbour. If they would change the mattresses, we could recommend this hotel." (107771244)

    A modern hotel with bright and friendly rooms. Also the breakfast fulfilled our expectations.

    The bed was terrible. You could feel nearly every coil spring in the mattress.

    Fairly cheap hotel. Easy to find. Rooms have all you need for an overnight stay.

    On a busy main road. Walk into Swansea (20/25 minutes to city centre) is either on this main road or along the riverside through an industrial area and area under development (Would not recommend to do at night / on your own)Although this fact is not the hotels fault.

    Plenty of parking, quiet location. Wet room - this was a first for us and we were impressed.

    Room small, no wardrobe. Evening menu list in room was not available to order. Breakfast continental - no cooked breakfast available.

    "I will always come back to the Ibis whenever we visit our grandson in Swansea. In the better weather it is a lovely walk into the town past the new marina area. Well done Ibis Swansea staff." (107825351)

    I have stayed in the Ibis Swansea on several occasions and have always been impressed. The staff are friendly and are always on hand if there any problems. The rooms are always spotless and the meals are good.

    Basic but Clean and tidy.

    Ordered "Aberdeen Angus" lasangne for dinner. It arrived COLD, it does not take a cook or chef to microwave the food. This was very dissappointing. Black mark for the kitchen staff.

    Ease of access to Swansea

    Very noisey on Friday and Saturday nights - staff disinterested when noise comented on following morning. Breakfast bar very poorly stocked, same food presented day after day. Have to reach over uncovered cooked meat to other food!

    My room was clean and tidy with little character, bathroom layout good.

    Breakfast disappointing. Evening meal menu looked ok even thou I went to McDonalds!

    "we were not really expecting much,because of the price but a general style of cleanliness would have been nice, and somebody ought to tell the staff that politeness and manners cost nothing.the chap behind the bar was offensive when telling us that we could not have a drink and then carried on to give his friends one.the bathroom was mouldy and there were only two towels, and we had no coffee or milk on our hospitality tray. all in all a great disappointment."     "Favourable - a reasonable and pleasant 'budget hotel'." (107194980)

    Receptionist was helpful and gave me good information on where to buy a newspaper and catch a bus into city. Pleasant decour and ambiance in ground floor lounge and dining area. Availability of adequate parking onsite was very much a consideration before making a booking. Also ability to be able to walk to/from City centre from hotel.

    Service road outside front of hotel was noisy due to tipper trucks trundling past early morning onwards

    bathroom smelled of urine. room was not fresh or clean. sheets on bed had hair on them. bathroom in room I moved to had mould on floor. food was poor standard for price.

    The Hotel location was great, only a

    room window didn`t open but mentioned it to reception and was sorted out as the rooms do get warm.

    "Very good - and superior to our not infrequent stays in Ibis hotels in France. We have been unimpressed with Ibis in Provence (ordinary to noisy), happy in Belgium (Waterloo) and overcharged in Calais . . . There was a feel-good factor in Swansea but the Friday night meals did leave a little to be desired. Breakfast was excellent and you are to be congratulated on this." (99300090)

    The shower room was the best I have ever seen in an hotel : the walk-in shower was just like being at home !

    There was a tear in the arm of the sofa and the desk was badly scratched : this gave an immediate impression of scruffiness.

    Nice clean room with tv, and tea / coffee-making facilities

    Only 1 pillow each Breakfast not very well stocked Had to ask for coffee cups to be brought out as all gone No knives left to butter toast Toast was mouldy No milk in the coffee machine

    staf were more than helpful. they went out of their way for us/also able to take pets with you ,also a good room policy where a if you have a fault and report it to reception and things cant be sorted out in 15 mins you have your room free. that i liked incase things wernt right

    hairdrier did not work in room. i repoteed it to staff and they had one on hand to lend if needed

    Easy access from the motoway and quick and easy booking and checking in procedure.

    there was not enough pillows, just 1 small pillow each for a double room was slightly uncomfortable. plus the bathroom towels were not large enough to feel comfortble
