    "The hotel is in a delightful location if you are looking to get away from it all. It is incredibly peacful and the staff are very helpful. The onsite restaraunt serves excellent food and there is also a chinese restaraunt 100m away which serves excellent food (and very cheap!) The swimming pool is set behind the restaraunt which over lunch time does get outside visitors, and the water was very very cold - to the point where it was not possible to swim. Overall this is a lovely hotel which -as long as you are physically fit enough to get round the hilly terrain- i would certainly visit again when in the area." (3305088828)

    This is a modern clean hotel. It has a very quiet location and is very picturesque.

    The site is quite hilly which may have proved a problem for older guests. The lift had broken glass, which was a little disconcerting. As a minor aside an English speaking TV station would have been a plus. The cold swimming pool!!!

    "Beautiful views from the front of the hotel. The pool is not attached to the hotel but away from it. Place looked as if it needed just a bit of care and attention. It could be lovely but you felt as if nobody really cared if it was clean or not. Also there was a huge skip in the car park half full of broken furniture and there was broken glass over the car park. The window in the lift was held together with orange electrical insulation tape and there were large unsightly stains on the floor of the lift. Breakfast was very good and at only 55 euro B&B for a couple it was good value. The staff appeared to be very friendly. It's a 15min drive from the A8 motorway and you must have a car to stay here. The bedroom was small but that was clean. We had white sheets and towels. The ensuite was dated and didn't feel as if it was as clean as it could be. Would I stay here again? No! While it was very reasonable, I would definately pay more for a place that I felt sure was clean. Just one very annoying thing was that there was a locked door between our bedroom and the bedroom next door. Each night as new guests arrived in the neighbouring room they spent time trying to open the door with their room key to see what was on the other side of the door; it just got very annoying on the 3rd or 4th night to be woken to somebody trying (and failing) to open the door."     "This is a very nice hotel situated in a small village La Gaude. A bit far from Nice (about 1/2 hour driving by car), however very quiet and has a swimming pool. IBM has a building nearby, I guess they are getting business customers. We got a very good deal on activehotels (only 59 euros/night for a room of 2).     "Je le repète l'accueil est vraiment charmant, nous avons été très bien reçu. Le problème apparemment est l'entretien des chambres pour un 3 étoiles nous avons trouvé cela un peu léger. A part ça le Directeur ainsi que la réceptionniste nous ont très bien renseigné pour tout le reste. Le prix de la chambre était de 45€ la nuit j'aurai été ennuyé de payer plus" (1625925)
