    Hotel staff were very friendly and polite. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard.

    Excellent Receptionist - wish we had taken her name. She was a delight and an absolute asset to your company. No doubt you can find out who was on duty when we checked in and out. Breakfast was good.

    A bit outdated in decor. We are in our mid 40-s and we found the majority of people staying were elderly. There is a lack of soundproofing between rooms. Basically we could hear everything our neighbours were saying/doing, and no doubt vice versa!

    Friendliness of staff, particularly on the Reception Area. Breakfast was good, although I am a fresh fruit fan at breakfast and there wasn't any provided.

    The taps in the bathroom in one of our rooms were very difficult to turn completely off.

    Staff very friendly and curtious. Meals in restaurant were an excellent choice served by friendly staff.

    Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Helpful and friendly staff, Beatrice on reception was particularly helpful. Good location away from the town centre, but not too far to walk to the restaurants and shops.

    Its only a ten minute walk from the centre of town.

    The hotel was in a very central part of Jersey which made it very easy to get around.

    Friendly staff, good pool facility, great food, happy service

    Everything was as portrayed and expected. It would have been convenient to have access to light snacks from the bar in addition to the formal dinner menu. The evening entertainment was good but then patchy; maybe the TV needs to be in a different part of the space to better accommodate dual audiences.

    "Reasonable accommodation. The free car parkig is a major plus. Didn't use the pool but it looked OK. Breakfast is adequate. Might have felt differently if it had been 50 a night instead of 68. Slightly shabby feel about the decor - needs updating. Also the internal lay-out of the hotel is a bit bizzare. The lift is reliable but has seen better days. Majority of the staff are from eastern Eastern Europe - although friendly enough." (3304404940)

    Location and parking were good. Easy access to town centre.Reasonably quiet.

    TV outdated - no Ceefax.Walls were paper thin - could hear the next room opening drawers. Slightly impersonal staff. rooms need updating - especially in relation to room price.

    "smoking or smoke in lounge/bar area was quite hazey which we did not like as we are none smokers. We also thought there would be entertainment each evening, bingo one night only.It was nice to return in the afternoons and have a quiet swim. would recomend hotel for a short break this time of year for(ladies shopping)" (1890370)

    our bedroom could do with updating although adequate. bathroom has no heating.Food in restaurant very good, but we felt it was served at speed to get you in and out quick.

    "The staff make this hotel special. Breakfasts were good, the dining room was very big and impersonal, but with so many guests.........? My wife had trouble with all of the steps because of a hip problem and it was generally too hot in the public rooms. But other than that we enjoyed our stay. We've never come across such happy and helpful staff in a hotel before, three cheers for Lithuania and Poland!!" (2605217)

    The staff were wonderful and all seemed happy to be working for this company.

    I don't know how you could get rid of all the steps, but if you can it would be a major improvement.

    Good location, very pleasant

    Evening entertainment was a bit dated on some evenings. We were only booked B & B and most mornings put at different tables for breakfast, I would have liked to have been allocated the same table as most other guests seemed to be.

    Clean and convenient for town

    Catering----- We booked B&B and went to breakfast 4 times before deciding to buy breakfast out because of the shoddy service we encountered. On the 1st day we were given a table and told we would use that table throughout our stay. The next day that table was occupied so we sat at another table which wasn't set but nobody came to set it so we sat at a table which was set for three only to be told that we couldn't sit there, and we were made to stand until a table was found and even then the waitress seemed to resent the fact that she was lumbered with us. The 3rd day we arrived in the dining at 9.30 and there were no tables set for two in the dining room and our normal waiter was in no mood to set a table and appeared to be angling for an early finish. We eventually were sat at another table and provided with stewed coffee hard yolked fried egg watery bacon and the cereals looked as though somebody had played with them. On the 4th day we decided to go early for brakfast but the sevice was no better hence our decision to eat out from then on. I haven't answered the question on performance of staf because all other staff apart from those in the dining hall were fine.
