Staff were very helpful. Friendly atmosphere.
Shower was a little weak. The rooms were very noisy. We could hear everything in the rooms around us.

Proprietor's wife was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast (though it cost £8!)
Lukewarm water for bath at 11pm and, again, at 9am. No information in room about hotel facilities / times for meals and swimming pool use. Rather strange "honeycomb" surface to mattress. Rather firm polyfill pillows. No light were on in the swimming pool's changing area on 2nd day: I got changed in the dark! I had to ask for the cover to be removed from the pool's water before I could swim each time (good for keeping water warm though!). Use of hotel towel in swimming area is an extra £1. No newspapers available at reception -- but they were happy to direct me to the newsagents in the village (10 minutes walk away). The room-rate seems a bit pricey for the quality of the facilities.

I'm sorry, but I can't really think of any.
This Hotel is dated (80's or earlier) the room was dark, and not well maintained, The toilet seat was very loose, the bed wasn't made up for us and the cups weren't changed.

Our party had 2 rooms; room 4 & room 7. The smaller room was adequate but a bit ordinary; if that had been our only room I don't think we would have been so impressed. However, the rooms were clean and everything worked as expected. The larger room was really special and the members of our party in there loved it! The swimming pool was lovely - the children really enjoyed it and the staff could not have been more helpful. Food was great.
We were all too hot at night! We would probably have chosen different rooms if the online booking had been a bit more flexible, but it wouldn't put us off

Great location and view. We had a room on the ground floor which was massive for the both of us. Very nice and helpful staff. The landlady was very pleasant. Location of the B&B is perfect to discover Anglesey, North Coast and Snowdonia.

Good sized room with nice modern ensuite, Pretty area, next to marina, Local pubs in walking distance, Good area for Angalsey, Camarthen and Snowden.
Lack of staff and organisation, no general information on hotel in room i.e breakfast time polices. Asked to leave key when going out though no one on desk. Staff which were available were helpful but did not have any answers to our questions. SWIMMING POOL A COMMUNAL POOL FOR RESIDENTS IN AREA. HELD LESSONS FROM 9A.M TILL 8P.M MOST DAYS. On asking staff were unsure what time we could use pool as this varied. Managed to use the pool once, about 9p.m though freezen as heaters turned of, lack of chlorine, also carpeted around the side which was wet horrible smell of mould. Not a nice experience. Bar area was like a communal lounge for people waiting for their children to finish their lessons in the pool. Hotel shut 10.30/ 11.00. Breakfast expensive many places nearby for half the price. Views of car park from window.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good shower. Good food and plenty of it. Superb location with wonderful views to the sea. We were upgraded as soon as we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The room and view were great. Ivan and Isabel are marvelous
instant coffee is the only bad point - for a hotel of your calibre it was really a surprise as everything else was first rate.

This is a family run hotel, family being the key word. Very helpful staff and the owners couldn't be more helpful. I would highly recommend as very good value for money, especially as it had an indoor swimming pool. The only meal we had in the hotel was breakfast and again good value for money.
We had a twin room in a small block away from the main hotel. This was ideal for us, but it is very basic, albeit clean and comfortable. At

Everything else. Room was poor "DIY" decor, blind had not been cleaned in years, staff poor, food terrible. I am amazed this hotel has any stars. It was really very poor indeed.

Plenty of space and well cleaned and maintained. Having all Freeview channels available on the TV was an improvement on most hotels we've been to recently.

Clean, tidy and warm
Unfortunately, there was a Christmas party booked for the night we stayed and our room was right above the bar, which meant it was just a little too noisy until the early hours.

Our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast room was pleasant and with excellent views over the Menai Straits

"This was the first stay at this hotel with a key business client, on check in we were immediately asked with no prompting would we like an upgrade to the Penthouse suite with two double en suite bedrooms. I have travelled before with this client and we agreed. The suite was huge with fantastic views. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, I would be more than happy to recommend this hotel to anyone and in fact my client is considering taking his wife for a break! Excellent room with more than adequate amenities when sharing with a key customer, we were give a suite with 2 double en suite bedrooms!

Scrap yard at rear; Poor room lighting; general need for running repairs e.g. towel ring falling off, shower head loose, (tightened ourselves) poorly fitted toilet seat, Impossible to insert TV aerial lead into socket properly (very pooor picture) General lack of attention by staff, particularly at breakfast (uncleared tables, milk and fruit juices running out, request for order on first morning before we reached dining room and saw menu, too much extraneous noise - something like a washing machine or perhaps the swimming pool pump running all night, hammering and drilling in next room while taking beakfast

"On Saturday night the bar was busy and noisy - my wife was kept awake until 01:00 (am). On Saturday night I was served with a lady guest's evening meal in error by the restaurant staff. The lady had ordered her food at least 1/2 hr before we arrived. The ladies husband had already received his meal. "This hotel had a warm, friendly atmosphere. It has an indoor swimming pool, bar area, breakfast room and dining room for evening meals. "This hotel is in a lovely position but needs a little more attention to detail. Most staff were friendly but trying to do too many jobs at once and I had to wait 10 mins before I was served at the bar when there was nobody else waiting. Room was reasonably clean but dusty in places. Dinner was very good but I was surprised to be informed when my steak arrived that the peppercorn sauce promised had run out. Considering this was the only sauce offered with steak and I had ordered steak specifically I felt that this was a bit of a devil may care attitude and prehaps it would have been better to offer me an alternative. I would return to this hotel but only after being assured that they had more staff who know what tey are doing and more care is taken in cleaning the rooms" (97925973)

Whenever i work in the area i always stay at the Hotel Plas Dinorwic. Excellent room, excellent facilities and the staff were very obliging. I didn't use the pool but wished i had. The owners as always were very attentive which makes a refreshing change. I shall be staying here again in the near future.
