    Convenient location for our visit. Good breakfast and room services. Clothes left behind were hand-delivered to another hotel in Ruthin which I stayed in the subsequent nights.

    Difficult and take a long time to adjust the temperature of the water for a shower

    Bedding for the second child (5 years old) did not arrive until after 11pm. Tea tray not refreshed for second day. Service at breakfast poor both days. No real ale in bar, despite being advertised.

    Full English breakfast very good, sevice good, food quick and hot.

    Inadequate parking for its size. Security at the reception desk a problem in the evenings. 'Freeview' not working in my room hence picture quality poor, never fixed during stay, requested three times to be fixed! New extension to hotel noisey.

    Proximity of hotel to our event was good. The bed was comfortable. The room was pretty good.

    The shower room did not have any light initially. The noise from the flushing toilet in the night was disturbing.

    fairly good breakfast, nicely set up breakfast room. Good linens

    bed was poor, rolled to the middle. Shower difficult to figure out. confusing room layout.

    Good value for money, good reception for TV, polite staff, enjoyable and well cooked meals.

    No remote control to the TV all though this was not a terrible feature.

    Staff was excellent. Resolved Hot Water issue. Avg Breakfast made it worth the stay and overall good and lovely decorations. Room was very tidy. Bar relaxing. Dinning Very Nice.

    Parking first come first serve. A stronger Internet signal to reach rooms. Some ppl may not want to visit bar after a long drive.

    Food was excellent and my favourite wine was extremely cheap. Room was pretty and everywhere was clean Good, central location Good price

    Private car park (reason for booking because we were all on motorbikes) was shale and on a slight slope. Some of the staff could have interacted better with customers. On booking in, the lady on reception made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her. Limited hanging space in the bedroom

    The young tall dark haired manager, was very helpful, and very good at his job, a very good asset to the Hotel.

    Due to our room haveing a (fire door) We could hear the people the other side of the door, they were very loud and noisey, We should have said somethink at the time, but we didnt expeck the talking to go on as long as it did.

    The staff had excellent interpersonal skills.They were truly dedicated to their work and customer care.Nothing was too much trouble.

    Just a little constructive criticism, the sound proofing between the rooms could do with improving.

    helpful friendly staff lovely old fashioned inn with character

    no hot water mix up with a bar bill which they tried to add on to the accommodation bill in all fairness though when the error was pointed out, they ammended the bill straight away

    Comfy bed

    The receptionist was a little ill mannered - chewing loudly and unwelcoming.Reception was completely unmanned when I needed to check out.The cleaner helped me instead.

    Very accommodating and friendly staff, lovely clean and cosy room, central location.

    We had to wait a bit for breakfast but the receptionist explained 2 of the usual staff were off that day and we weren't rushed out of our room.

    Smells from the kitchen came to the room. The room smelled musty. One room had just a glass door as used for balconies which didn't seemtoo stable in case of theft. On check-in noone was visible at the reception desk or somewhere near. The price was definitely not adequate for the service and facilities...

    Staff were friendly and helpful.food was nice.

    Hot water tap on the bath would not turn off, thought we were going to flood the bathroom. Room very small. carpets very badly stained, looked like they could do with a really good shampoo.

    There was a very noisy fan outside of the room which disturbed my sleep. Breakfast finished early on a weekend.

    Very good food.

    There was never any one on reception and we always had to wait for the room key as the hotel had a policy of handing your key in before leaving the hotel.

    enjoyed ourselves, nice friendly welcoming place. The cooked breakfast was really nice, not a typical greasy fry up!

    Not suitable for people who can't manage stairs, they seem to be unvoidable here as we had to follow a maze which included five doors and 6 sets of stairs to find our room, which was actually quite fun. Couldn't work the shower though, ended up having a bath in the end rather than asking the staff why it was boiling or freezing. Also no TV remote & limited channels, good job we'd brought lots of books to keep us entertained!
