    Leisure facilities very good, breakfast quick and good, all staff friendly and helpfull.

    Cleaning of room sometimes was after 2pm.

    central location, car parking, hotel adn room facilities comfortable beds, fab views, very pleasant staff

    not really bad but room rather noisy from room next door Air con would have been good as when we stayed it was hot and sunny but if left window open traffic noise was high

    Apex is always a consistantly good standard of service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, truely excellent food and the spa is an added bonus.

    None really. My only mild comment is that the decoration in the room was looking a little tired with big scuff marks on the wall near the door from cases I guess. None of which was a problem for us. Over time I appreciate these things happen.

    I always enjoy satying at the Apex. It is the only Hotel I use in Dundee.

    A short walk from Dundee centre (But literally just minutes)

    1. Excellent breakfast.

    1. Shower curtain missing, resulting in flooding of bathroom floor. 2. Bathroom basin far too small and size of tap prevents proper usage. 3. Sound card on TV faulty, resulting in both intermittent sound or no sound at all.

    Great, clean communal and bedroom areas with excellent views and good food. Great location near City.

    Only one minor thing, it was difficult to get the Remote Control to communicate with the digibox.

    Room excellent, high standard of houskeeping, excellent attention to detail. Good space well laid out. Huge bed, which was comfortable. Good range of equipment provided eg iron and ironing board, trouser press, DVD etc. Floor to ceiling widows in my room giving plenty of light and pleasant view over Quay. Staff at reception helpful and courteous. Breakfast selection was good, very enjoyable.

    Had to ask for tea at breakfast in the morning, not approached by staff though people opposite asked by two different staff. Pool size a bit disappointing but other facilities fine. TV volume cut out after 30 mins to had to switch off and on, told staff on leaving and entered on comments card.

    Nice rooms with everythng u nd. Use of gym and pool area included in price a big pluss. Easy access 2town.

    Resturant and bar a bit expensive which made us eat out. Massage and treatments overpriced.

    Cleanliness and comfort of room. Convenient location. Gym facilities.

    Room service choices a bit limited and no condiments brought with food. Water pressure in shower could be better. No other bad points - would recommend this hotel.

    dinner was good

    could not get into breakfast without queuing for a long time - you should provide sufficient space and staff - I did not want to stand in a queue for ? 15 minutes so I left

    Great design, fantastic spa

    No bad points, though food in bistro a bit disappointing and restaurant atmosphere a little sterile compared to the rest of the hotel

    All good. Loved the duck in the bathroom. Visiting family, so did not have time to visit the spa, but it was a lovely visit for my sister who was visiting from africa. Lovely food, and lovely to have a jug of water when requested during dinner. Lovely comfortable bed too.

    Stylish and modern with a good restaurant and proximity to shops and other restaurants - in particular Borders Books - maybe you should mention that on your web site. It would certainly be a deciding factor for me. I was also impressed by the excellent job that Dundee has done with its docks. We were attending a golf competition at St. Andrews and it only took twenty minutes to get there.

    It was noisy on the Saturday night with a disco up to midnight that was far too loud. Drunken yobbos strolling outside late at night shouting and screaming.

    Excellent Rooms and Facilities

    Very pricey - they could do with reducing prices as now getting to the Stage where can't afford th stay there again as Companies are cutting down allowances for overnight stays.

    the room had a lovely view. the staff were friendly and very helpful.

    the room was way too warm and we had to get a fan put in i would recommend some form of air conditioning if possible.

    Very pleasant room, good size, quiet with no noise noted from either side. Good view, and close to town centre

    Car parking difficulties initially, but once the day shoppers arrived to go home - plenty of spaces

    Very high standard of room.

    Safe didn't work and tv buzzed which would have been a problem if staying more than one night.

    "Booking in and out was smooth, bill prepared over night for checking appreciated. The room was fine although the shower flow of water was pathetic and there was nowhere convenient to hang towels for showering. Towels very flat and not fluffy or top quality. Good quality toiletries. The bed was very comfortable and good quality bedding. The temperature was controllable - turned heat right down/off and opened window. The food in the restaurant was awful! My risotto had to be seasoned 5 times to bring out taste and I left most of the breakfast." (97067265)

    WiFi access was good, although signal strength in room was very limited so cvould not do as much work as I would have liked as the signal kept dropping

    I was in room 302 and the air conditioning fan and temperature controls did not work resulting in the fan whirring all night and the room being cold

    "This hotel is very well designed to give a modern, Japanese feel. The Spa is very special with dimmed coloured lighting to give a calm relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are consistently smart and clean and I have always had a lovely view of the water. Not very easy to walk to, from the station due to major road system. Can be done, but the very short taxi ride would be a better option for a first time visitor" (97584231)

    The bar and public areas were good, the room a decent size. While the receptionist had no record of my online booking she gave me a good deal for B&B (better than the online booking!) Toiletries nice - though completely offset by having a cold shower!

    Location - very run down area of Dundee No hot water at all in the morning! And receptionist unhelpful when told about this. Noise of traffic. Windows very dirty (bird mess) Disabled facilities in bathroom rather intrusive - spoilt sense of style

    View was good

    Noise from Ventilation System , this was due to a noisy fan or slack mountings. Not easy to sleep with all the background noise. Shower underpowered Room was showing its age in a number of areas.

    There was a high standard of comfort and plenty of room. The facilities were great and staff friendly. The free parking is a bonus and close to all shops and restaraunts. I did not eat dinner in the hotel but the light bite and snack menu was great.

    The water was very slow to drain away in the shower but this did not at any time take any enjoyment away from my stay
