    Hotel very convenient for Gare Du Nord station and many places to eat and drink nearby

    shower broken - toilet flush faulty - black boot marks all over the walls - not enough wall sockets - in fact only one

    The attitude of staff was very poor and unhelpful. We only stayed here x 1 night and cancelled the following 5 nights accomodation and moved out to another hotel.

    the tv is temperamental, you can hear the sounds outside of the room

    Will absolutely recommend to my friends and relatives. Very near to the Gare du Nord and easy access to public transport. Very convenient indeed.

    "I would use this hotel again for small groups of older pupils and for myself. Not suitable for large groups due to restricted public area - one long thin breakfast area." (107850923)

    Very handy for the Gare du Nord - a two minute stroll. Small, informal hotel. Opposite Metro entrance. Breakfast is served not usual diy scrum.

    Noisy area, but you expect this next to a station!

    "Our stay was perfectly fine due to the very good location of the hotel. We were able to leave our bags after checkout until the Eurostar returned to London in late afternoon which was also very handy." (107217821)

    We liked the proximity of the hotel to Le Gare du Nord as we had arrived on the Eurostar from London and didn't want to travel far with our bags. We also liked the ease of metro transportation from the hotel/station. The hotel was small, neat and clean and served our purposes which was to have a handy place from which to do our sightseeing. We were really only there to sleep and shower and so our needs were well met.

    Hotel location was very close to train station and the room was clean.

    Elevator was small and cramped and only allowed 1 person to enter at a time with luggage. When you stepped off the elevator, the hallway lights were turned off making it a hazard to walk to your room. The bathroom light was not working making it difficult to use the shower and complete daily abulutions. The single chair in the room was broken and unstable. The mattress was poor and when 2 people slept on the bed, they rolled towards to centre. The door had a gap at the bottom allowing other guests smoke to enter the room (even if the other guests were in their room with their door closed). We overcame this problem by closing our window and putting a towel along the bottom of the door. However, there was no air conditioning and the room got stuffy and warm at night. The noise level coming through the ceiling and walls was above normal. An example of this is the guest on the floor above our room wore shoes and walked all night in their room, and the guest next door was active in personal activities.

    Near the Station restaurants and coffee shops. Easy access to CDG Air port. Being equipped with a vending machine which you can buy drinks.

    The room is cleen, but smell from the drainpipe of the bathroom. And it is very small.

    The hotel was on a busy road. As there was no air-conditioning in the rooms, the window had to be left open and it was very, very noisy.

    hotel dark and dingy, extremely old worn bathroom. Needs complete refurbishment, No power points, tv situated to high.

    "Les photos de l' hôtel ne correspondaient pas à mes souhaits. (il est vrai que l' on peut rectifier celles-ci!!!). Je me suis renseigné auprès d' autres hôtels 2 étoiles lors de mon séjour à Paris; pour 100 €, il y en avait d' autres bien plus agréables mais hélas déjà complets! Cet hôtel ne mérite en aucun cas 2 étoiles. Cette façon de faire payer les gens avant de prendre possession de la chambre ne me plaît pas beaucoup!!!" (97749189)

    Near to the Gare Du Nord Train station and most restaurants are near by for us to catch a meal. The French are receptive and helpful though they try to communicate in English.

    Too small a room for comfort and noisy for the room located directly adjacent to the main road. Main facilities missing and breakfast is charged for a simple meal.

    It is very close to la Gare du Nord. It is a great advantage when you need to spend a short time in Paris.

    overall it was fairly decent, nice view from the window and best of all it was 2min walk from the gare de nord station

    "Compared to our other accomodations in Europe, this hotel was the best vaule by far. The room was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. We had a room in the back of the hotel which was very quiet. The neighborhood is sligthly dodgy, but we never felt unsafe. The hotel is blocks from several subway lines and walking distance to about forty restaurants. We would stay here again." (99816616)

    "This hotel was clean and friendly with superb location. They allowed us to store our bags there safely as we had a late departure. Is close to really nice bars and restuarants. The Nor du Gare is within 1 minute of the hotel and this tube station gets you directly to all of paris's main attractions. I would definitly go back." (3304784317)

    The breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful. The locations was ideal! All in all it was a very nice hotel.

    There wasnt a kettle in the room but im sure if we had asked for coffee they would have given us some.

    "Fine hotel for a couple of nights, easy for Eurostar and for metro round Paris, the rooms were clean and bathroom had good shower. There is no lounge area but not needed if you are out all day. The area is not smart but felt safe. Ideal if you're on a tight budget but want a clean room with a bathroom." (3304748410)

    The hotel was cheap and cheerful, 1 minute from the Gare du Nord, 24 hour reception, reasonable breakfast, clean bathroom with good shower, great for a couple of nights

    The front rooms are a bit noisy if the police are busy in Paris, mostly Saturday nights, coffee and tea could have been hotter

    The location & the underfloor heating in the bathroom

    Building work in progress which started quite early in the morning also the hotel was very noisy. The TV did not work properly and the night porter was not very helpful with the problem!

    "The door to the room was warped so you could see in from outside. The room wasn't that clean and only one towel kept on been left even though they new tyhere was two people stopping there. The alternative room smelt damp and all the receptionist wanted was my credit card number. Very poor" (3304273054)
