    Convenient to Gare du Nord

    Room very small. No air-conditioning or fans, had to leave the windows open. Very noisy if facing the street, sound of traffic and announcements from station can be heard. Towels had holes in them. No single pillows just a bolster across the bed to share. TV programmes only in French.

    Anormal d'avoir proposé et réalisé un débit de carte à la réservation et demandé le réglement par carte à l'arrivée à l'hôtel . . . avant la nuitée !

    None

    lights not working, shower did not hang on wall although there was a place for it to hang... hot, the elevator broke and they did not offer to have staff bring bags down 5 flights of stairs. Checked out and went to a different hotel down the street.

    clean,economical.beds made regularly.staff helpful.prompt breakfast service.

    Very noisy at night,with doors slamming till 1am and beyond,and other noise in the early hours.shower fitment was broken.On 2 of the 3 mornings the croissants were served cold.

    This was close to the train station, neat and clean, staff was nice. Room was small but good housekeeping upkeep each day. Bathroom was nice size. The furniture was new and the room, being on the back side away from the street was fairly quiet.

    Toilet seat broken, but usable. No place to sit in room.

    Clean room. Staff on duty day and night. Reasonably pleasant and efficient receptionist. Very quiet room in lively neighbourhood. Proximity to Gare du Nord and good restaurants/cafes.

    Nothing specific except cost typical of Paris hotels.

    Nice and clean and great value with a nice breakfast included.

    "My meetings went well, it was close to the railway station and my train further to Brussels. It was close to the fine brasserie Terminus Nord!" (107563112)

    The bed was good

    The TV did not function. They called me form the reseption the second day of my stay and asked for my name! They told my wife when she called from Istanbul that I was not in my room when I was actually in my bed. Then they gave her another room before she could reach me on my mobile

    "Awful hotel. I complained about the room immediately, but was told they were full up and should change in the morning. I discovered they were not full. They took payment in full on arrival. Changed to a new room - a triple which was better, but still had major problems. The floor slanted so badly it was lying on a hill when you went to bed. They wanted us to pay extra as a triple (it was still tiny) and when I said no they said I would have to move again to another room. Everyday was a new reception person that could not take any decisions and just passed the buck. Eventually they let us stay in the triple at no extra cost (only because the hotel had hardly anyone staying and they could not get a triple booking) It was just a really poor hotel, and far too much money for its standard. 40 euros would have been the limit but 70 euros is a micky take.     Hotel reception area was used as breakfast room. Tiny rooms. Most lights in rooms don't work - very gloomy atmosphere, impossible to work at desk. No tv remote control Dirty bedspread and curtains Poor bedding (pillows) Nowhere to put clothes except one tiny fitted wardrobe, enough for 3 coathangers. The other fitted wardrobe was deliberately locked. No chest of drawers. Showers were unpredictable. Impossible to turn radiator off so heating was oppressive, with windows open to compensate the noise was so loud you could not sleep.

    I was able to check into the hotel at 23:30 and it was 5 minutes walk from Gre du Nord. The bathroom was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and spoke English.

    I could hear TV noise from the adjacent rooms and there was a cobweb in one corner of the room. There was no internal lock on the room door.

    "Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay for a single person who just needs a bed, but not really a place to be comfortable." (107392297)

    Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Relatively low cost (though not exactly 'cheap'). Bed was comfortable.

    Room lights did not work; shower head did not fix to shower wall; only luke-warm water in shower and basin.

    Fair price and not bad facilities

    I booked a twin room instead of a double. I called active holidays to cancel and booked a double 3 weeks before departing for Paris. When arriving the hotel had me down for two rooms but told me everything is fine. When checking my internet banking they have charged me a cancelation charge. I am not happy and have contacted them and they have let me know it will be refunded. I am awaiting the money to be returned eagerly

    Clean, well-placed, easy access in and out of Paris, adequate for the price

    Both toilet seats were broken, this is extremely unhygienic, there was no plug for the sink, the bathroom window was broken, there was no kettle to have a hot drink, it was a bit cold and there were no spare blankets, pillow was uncomfortable and spares did not look clean, towels were clean but there were holes in them

    "Overall very good value for a city hotel so close to Gard du Nord with very friendly staff." (108059800)

    The Hotel staff were very friendly and allowed us to checkin early before our rooms were ready and leave our bags both at checkin and when we checked out the following morning. The rooms we booked were fairly small but adequate for the type of stay we had booked (out sightseeing most of the time) and very clean. Excellent value, very close to Gard du Nord about a 3 minute walk, would definately book this hotel again.

    Very noisy, walls seemed thin - I could hear people's alarm clocks going off and people using the toilet next to my room . Also the bathroom was not cleaned at all on the 2nd day

    The staff were rude and unhelpful. The rooms was tiny, dirty, and insecure. There wasn't even a lock on the door. The sheets looked liked they'd never been cleaned.

    "I've stayed in youth hostels that have been positively luxurious in comparison to this hotel! My room smelt of damp and I'm not sure the sheets were clean. Doors were banging throughout the night and the next-door room's TV was playing very loud until late. There was no lock on the door so I felt unsafe and I'm sure there were some unsavoury guests staying there, coming and going throughout the evening. The shower door was very tight - if anyone verging on the larger side stayed there, they would be hard pushed to get in and out of it." (97061362)

    Very short walk from the gare du Nord

    Small points no remote control for the television no light on or near the desk parquet floor with no rugs. One at the side of the bed at least would be good.
