    Overall standards were very good

    The staffs are very helpful. I especially appreciated Alice. She helped me a lot.So I can check in the airline before I landed off.

    I would like bathing soap more than a solid soap.

    The room was spacious, modern and extremely comfortable.

    No bad points - the only thing that I would have preferred is an easier menu on the tv and a DVD player in the room.

    Friendly staff, convenient location (next door to train station).

    My friends and family had great difficulty reaching me by telephone in my room because one evening, no one at the reception picked up the phone for about a half an hour period. On several other occasions, a friend was told that I had never checked into the hotel and was not there. Apparently the reception had registered me under my first name. This experience was very annoying and I missed out on important calls because of it. In terms of food, while it was generally satisfactory, the long-shelf-life yoghurt served with breakfast was disgusting. I also had a chicken caesar salad where the lettuce was brown on the edges and not fresh tasting. The iron supplied with the room had not been maintained. It left calcium deposits on my clothes when I tried to iron. Also, the short lead on the iron cord made it difficult to use the iron.

    Room fine. Staff helpful but a little overwhelmed

    Keycard system didn't work. Couldn't find my reservation. Breakfast overpriced (14.95). Internet access not free. Would be a rip off if I had paid rack rate of £195.

    Staff were lovely and very helpful. Convenient location next to the train station, and close to Greenwich Park. Excellent for us as we were there to support someone running the London Marathon.

    Room carpet was dirty (stained), however this was the only thing we could say as a bad point, everything else about the room and the hotel was excellent.

    In the first room I could smell the drains through the bath. Second room was better. Think breakfast is overpriced. It doesn't differ in quality from cheaper competitors.

    Nice clean hotel, great location. Rooms and layout also good.

    Complete farce with the booking, I asked to add two people to my original booking and pay on a separate card. Originally I called and spoke to a lady, booked one room on for ease of confusion, CARD A. Then I called back a day later and asked another lady if I could add two further rooms but pay on CARD B. She said this could be done, but I had to drop the call and asked if she could call me back in 15 minutes, she said yes. One hour later I decided to call you and spoke to a Guy who then added the 2 further rooms on to Card B with no issue. One hour after this I received a voice mail from the initial lady saying my extra bookings had not taken place, when I called back in the morning and spoke to a representative of your company, she said there was no record of the booking or the call. So I had in fact given my card details to a rogue employee! I was very upset. Eventually your employee called me back and stated theta she had contacted the hotel and had got the room rate we required with no issues and we had all got Breakfast included. When I got to the hotel there was issues on checking in, we did not have queen size beds as paid for and breakfast was not included!! And on top of all this all 3 rooms had been booked onto CARD B, which has cost me a lot outlay as I book rooms for DJ’s and they pay, however in this instance I paid for all 3 rooms and now can’t get the cash back!!! If you check what I stated earlier your employee said she had no record of my booking so where the hell did she get CARD B’s details from? So all in all not a good experience using your company to book through, I stay in various hotels around the country twice a month and book rooms for many DJ’s that I book. On average I book 6 – 8 rooms for maybe 1 -2 nights 2 -3 times a month, this sort of mess is not satisfactory at all.

    Everything was very well organised and presented. Breakfast was first class.This is the make or break for me when staying away from home. We were never rushed.The atmostphere was relaxed and friendly and the staff very attentive without getting in the way.

    Bed was a little on the firm side for us The TV controller did not function very well and needed replacing with a new one

    The location of the hotel was great as we were attending a concert at the O2, and it was conveniently situated next to the train station.

    Even with the air conditioning on the room was still too warm and you couldn't really leave the window open as you would get the noise from the trains. On another point, we didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as the price was extortionate but we were lucky enough to find the Organic Cafe just down the road which did 2 breakfasts for the cost of one in the hotel.

    The room was clean and tidy and met our needs

    At check in we found the staff very rude and unhelpfully due to the fact they had no record of our booking on the computer. But we had the proof via a sent e-mail. Then offered us a complimentary breakfast in the morning then amazingly took it away a hour later. This along with the time spent checking in (while a taxi waited to return us to our awaiting clients) i found amazingly poor and unexpected.

    Only one bad point was that the curtain rail fell down at one end during the night but it was not a big problem.

    "We booked this hotel for, hopefully, easy access to the O2 arena for the Neil Diamond concert. We weren't disappointed - the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Greenwich Pier where we boarded the Thames Clipper and the 02 is just one stop away.     Everthing, the location, staff very friendly, greeting, check-in/out easy, cleanliness through out the hotel, room well furnished and spacious also very clean, excellent stay. Can't comment on Food as we did not eat in the hotel nor did we use any of the facilities.

    Cost of full english breakfast £16.95 each, went to local cafe and for 2 english breakfast is was only £12.00. Plug in the sink in the bathroom was not operating correctly.

    the room layout was good

    the tempreture of the room, it was far to hot which cause dehyration and the air conditioning was not working.

    "There was inadequate parking facilities. We were advised to park at the Ibis whch had only 15 spaces all were full. All of the staff were of foreign origin and sometimes difficulties arose in explaining your needs. We ordered two breakfasts to be delivered to ur room and only recieved one. After phoning room service we were told that another would be delivered in 5 minutes. By the time we checked out it still had not arrived.Therefore, we had to share one cup, cutlery and had half a breakfast each. Not good when you are about to run 26.2 miles in the London marathon."     Stale smell of cigerette smoke in room even though we had booked a non smoking room and the sign on he door stated non smoking. also the receptionist told us it was a non smoking room on arrival.

    "Watch the telephone charges, i was charged £117 for a 25 min call abroad,how anyone can get away with ripping people off in this way is beyond me.. After registering a complaint the hotel management havn't even responded.. do these people deserve any business i don't think so..     "We booked this hotel for an overnight stay when we went to watch The Spice Girls at the O2 Arena. This hotel is in a great location - right next to the Greenwich DLR station and very central in Greenwich. If you walk along the road down to the River you can jump on a boat to get to the O2 which was really handy (but unfortunately we only found this out after we had got a taxi!! :-) ) The hotel itself is very clean and quite trendy when you go in to Reception. Even though our room was right next to the hotel AND ice machine we didn't experience any noise pollution during our stay. The rooms are a good size, the bed is king size and very comfortable and it is very clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful also. There was also an iron and ironing board and tea and coffee making facilities in the room which were handy! All in all, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel." (97990678)

    The staff were professional and efficient, bar staff in the evening were particularly friendly. Overall, the hotel was clean, orderley and very comfortable. Well sited for rail and dlr, no traffic noise noted.

    Pillows were chosen for style not comfort.

    It was clean, the service was efficient and very conveniently located.

    Twin room but only one set of shower gel etc.
