    "Stay was poor. Room was tatty, but clean. No breakfast provided as hotel preparing for a wedding reception (no warning given on bookiong or at check in), no receipts provided, no fridge in room or kitchette/cooking faciolities provided. All stated in advert on your website. Very poor quality. " (108105314)

    "The reason for my travel from Wales and stay in this London hotel was to attend essential business functions over the 3 days, hosted and advised in business by International business people and entrepreneurs. However I have to say I was disappointed overall with this hotel, and would not be willing to recommend or attend . " (108606264)

    Friendly + helpful staff reception, good walking location for access to Underground.

    Excessively loud music downstairs on first 2 of 3 nights stayed until 01:00am and 02:30am made it impossible to get adequate night rest/sleep. Unable to take paid-for inclusive breakfasts due to meal unavailabilty until 07:45am. Somewhat Spartan room could do with a freshen-up. Ingrained dirt + grease on + in fridge and microwave. Walls, floor, window + ledges needed cleaning from accumulated dust + dirt. Found pillow case and quilt cover marked + stained, beds not changed or made. TV indoor aerial broken + needed replacement. No kettle to make much needed hot drink in the room. No access to iron + board usage to press clothes. (First hotel I have ever used where the above two items were not available for guests)

    "I thought that tea & coffee making facilities were standard in all hotel rooms these days (even the cheapest), but not so here! The TV reception (basic 4 channels - not even Channel 5!), from a cheap indoor aerial, was terrible. Bed and linen were clean and comfortable. Breakfast (full English) was well cooked and well served, although the quantities were meagre. All-in-all adequate accomodation and very basic - but what do you expect for this price in London?     Friendly staff

    bedroom too small, with no furniture or shaver point. Of three shared toilets, one had no light or window, so could not be used, and one ran out of paper. One shower (shared) did not work.

    This is the first time i have stayed in a hotel, where i find it difficult to find a single good point! Its close to Upton Park football ground i suppose.

    Where do i start! The place was dirty, cluttered, noisy. The kitchen staff in particular were so unwelcoming, that i didn't take breakfast! I could go on and on, but i would need a lot more time!

    The internet booking made the accomdation seem a decent quality hotel

    Peeling wall paper, threadbare carpet. The room had 2 children's style bunk beds! The window was timber framed and rotten, opening onto a flat roof strewn with rubbish and broken glass. the toilet at the same end of the corridor as the room was functional, but with peeling paint on the walls. No hand washing facilities in toilet. THe shower adjacent to the room was out of order, and the showers at the other end of the corridor were damp, dirty and mouldy. THere was no attempt to provide a receipt when checking out. Breakfast was served on a communal table on the "dance floor" of the main bar, amongst the remains of the last night's empty glases.

    I have booked through the internet and your staff called me and said there is a problem in your hotel and have you changed the accomadation .When we seen the other hotel,it was in redicules order and it wasn't in a place to stay with family.We travelled according to your booking reference and we have forced to book another hotel with higher rate. I have planned to go with my solicitor for the compansation and the difficult situation we have experianced. I need someone from your hotel,who authorised to speak to customers regarding this kind of problem.I do not want to speak to Vincent anymore because ,i do not want to belive him anymore.

    many---- no towel,room/table/bed was full of cigarette ash, noise never heard such a loud boom boom music, no body cares who you are at your arrival even if you wait for 20 minutes, my room was 'not ready on my arrival'as soon as I told 'a' receptionist + bartender he sent a lady to prepare the room as it has been described earlier

    The room was basic, but clean. It was good value for money. The breakfast was excellent.

    Disappointed that there were no towels in the room. We did not expect any other provisions, but a towel should be bog standard.We did not pack towels, and therefore it was not possible to shower.

    "This Hotel was a glorified pub with rooms above.No place to have an evening meal and unable to obtain a continental breakfast. Full English or nothing ( no cereal available)" (107959457)

    No towel or soap in the room. Had to buy my own. The mattress on the bed was not even fit for an inmate in prison.

    Every Friday night there is an extremely loud club playing music until 3 am. Absolutely impossible to sleep and not value for money. You should be paid to stay a Friday night!!! There´s no information about this on the website and I feel cheated, because I could not go out and find another place at 23.30.

    no hot water, room was cold and damp, broken windows, breakfast not available although was supposed to be included in the price, no plugs for bath or washbasins, showers did not work in one bathroom, suffered bad cuts to thumbs from sharp toilet chain and bolt on toilet door. Hotel was generally scruffy and there was no adequate customer service.

    Big lounge with entertainment, pool table, Free Internet fascility, Value for money, Good breakfast, Very friendly staff and helpful.

    Breakfast served from only 7.15 to 8.45.

    the area is a mess and the hotel is a disgrace. it should not be allowed to trade as a hotel. what an absolute tip. i would not advise an animal staying there. and as for the clientel in the bar, well you wouldnt dare enter the bar alone

    Booked two rooms, only one available on arrival despite given assurances that everything was ok when phoned earlier in the day. Paid in cash, told receipt would be available in morning. No-one available in morning except cook and cleaning lady therefore no receipt, now unable to claim back expenses for business trip. Plug socket dangling from wall with exposed wires and 4 way adapter plugged in. Very poor standard of food (and lets face it, breakfast isn't hard)

    Friendly staff in the bar downstairs

    Breakfast was disorganised (tables didn't get served at the same time, staff had to ask numerous times what had been ordered). Communal toilet did not have toilet roll and was not particularly clean, shower and bath were dirty. Fridge in the room smelled rotten

    To be honest I find it very difficult to give any good points. The only thing I would say that the bar staff were polite.

    Bed was broken No light bulb in room so was is total darkness, even after bringing to bar staff attention. No Coat hangers in room Wardrobe if you can call it that had dust and cob webs in Drinks eg tea milk etc not replaced each day so only had two drinks between us on first day. Poor curtain only one curtain and that wasn't on straight. TV airel was just propped on window ledge so not a good picture. Completely not worth the money Room was more like a doss house for the homeless.

    Cheap. Pub looks OK.

    The room was literally a converted store-room, about 18 inches wider than the bunk bed in the room. The bed was awful. The TV was un-usable since the plug couldn't reach the mains socket. The flimsy dirty curtain let the light straight through, and the window opened onto a roof making it potentailly insecure. The air vent had been blocked up empty cigarette packets! A shared shower was out of order.

    "People at hotel were very friendly and the area is interesting-multi-cultural and some good, reasonable restaurants.The rooms need modernising to bring them up to what people expect nowadays- there appears to be ample space to do this- and create extra bedrooms using the bathrooms! More choice needed at breakfast- only cooked available.However, it is a reasonable place in terms of value if you do not mind being a fair distance from central London and it is handy for the O2!"     Above a traditional pub. Friendly staff.

    No en-suites. Below the room a tumble dryer was noisy in the night. Room badly needed redecoration.
