    "Ideal location, clean room and lovely staff. Overall, a pleasant stay." (108216142)

    Extremely polite reception staff. They were kind enough to allow us to leave our bags despite us already checking out. Great central location, close to Liverpool Lime street, the high street and all the great bars.

    Nearby noise from the local bars may cause annoyance for some people.

    Hotel room size, nice staff, wonderful breakfast (not a bit greasy)

    Kettle didnt work but we did get another, lamp didnt work (I couldnt be bothered asking again) the main thing I found a bit annoying as a woman is there was no-where to plug my hairdryer in near a mirror, and also us women use straighteners and I really burnt my hand because I had to thread the plug under the tv unit to use the mirror which was there, and it caught on the corner and dragged it through my hands which burnt my skin off, I was in so much pain and was going to go hospital but it would have ruined our night so I had my hand under the cold water for ages (we missed the first part of the band playing downstairs) and persevered with it even tho I do blame the lack of thought for these things. There was a double plug socket on the wall opposite the bed, now if someone had thought just to put a mirror there it would have been perfect. Im not vain just a regular woman who uses a hair straightener and hairdryer!!

    hot water, kettle, renewed supplies, clean

    the noise problem (ie Liverpool club scene) was tucked away at the bottom of a long webpage, so I did not see this until after I had booked. I got three, non-continous, hours of sleep a night.

    very poor breakfast not a very good selection ,no lifts for taking bags etc up ,for people who need early sleeps this is not the hotel for them

    I was able to book the hotel rooms very easily.......

    I received an email confirming my booking.....when my colleagues arrived at the hotel that was booked over the phone with one of your staff....the booking hadnt been made. The hotel therefore had to offer different rooms at the same price I was quoted. It was lucky they had vacancies other wise I woulf of had 5 men stranded for the night

    Excellent location right in the city center of Liverpool at a very reasonable prize.

    The hotel really was very noisy, although it was not the music from the bar causing rather restless nights, but rather the adjunct nightclub open from 1 to 6 am.

    mould around the shower door, bathroom was dusty, room cards kepy resetting so had to keep going back to reception to be able to get into room.

    Good evening entertainment and the staff were very friendly. It would be good to stay in if down on a leisure visit as it is in the middle of the nightlife.

    The room was a little small and if you are a light sleeper the entertainment may keep people awake.

    "The Hanover Hotel is a livley hotel in a great location for the busy nightlife of Liverpool city centre, The staff were all friendly and very welcoming. The rooms are very cosy and have ensuite very clean and very tidy. I would definately stay at the Hanover again." (97247048)

    It was in a great location in the city centre of Liverpool for the shops and the busy nightlife.

    My room was across the road from an all night nightclub and was quite noisy till aorund 5am

    "It started well. We had a warm welcome from the lady in reception. However it sowly went down hill. First impressions of the room were good; the decor was quite neutral and the bed was very comfortable. The room was boiling as it was an unusually hot day (27c). The window could not be opened but there was a ceiling fan, however, it would only work if you had the light on! You can tolerate this in the day but not when you want to go to bed! Also the bathroom door didn't shut because the door had expanded. To top it off the fire alarm went off at 0730 in the morning. After rushing downstairs, we, aswell as other guests waited at the bolted door at reception for at least 5 minutes before a lady appeared to say it was a false alarm." (97498803)

    The bed was very comfortable.

    There was no air conditioning. The bathroom door did not close because it had expanded.

    "The hotel was situated in the best location in town. The staff was nice. Unfortunately, the room smelled like sigarettes and smoke although it had a non-smoking sign. In general, the room was descent. Breakfast was oke. I would have liked to know that the streets are very noisy at night. However, what else would you expect in the city centre.     I liked the room, bed, shower, breakfast.

    I disliked the smell of smoke in the room (although signed non-smoking), smell of beer at breakfast location, street noise during nights (weekend-stay).

    A clean well presented room and bathroom, decent breakfast, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

    Nothing really, My daughter was woken up by revellers from the club opposite, although I slept though it and woke later to banging from the renovation works outside. However, we were aware that the hotel could be noisy. I found the shower difficult to get hot enough water from.
