    Rooms were clean & tidy

    No hand towels in bathrooms, nowhere to lock away valuables, showers quite small and would be a issue if you were a larger person, ground floor rooms are quite dark.

    Comfy bed with kettle, drink-making ingredients, fridge, hairdryer and small ensuite shower room with toilet. The room was clean, though very small. I didn't expect much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. Good breakfast.

    The only negative was that the TV was not tuned in to any stations at all so we couldn't watch the news when we got in, but this was a small complaint. We didn't raise it with the hotel staff so they were not given the chance to remedy this problem.

    We booked a twin ensuite room what we got was a single room with 2 beds wedged together and you had to squeeze your way to the tiny shower cubicle . I could not have a proper shave as the tiny hand wash basin had no stopper . I tried to make a coffee but there was no milk or cream on the tray , went to reception for to get some and was told that I would have to wait until morning for the cleaning girl to leave some . TV did not work .

    Proprietor was very nice. Room was Clean.

    Directions from tube in confirm email were poor. I walked around for an hour and asked for directions 3 times. TV in room only got 2 channels with bad reception. Ceiling fan was very noisy. Bed was very saggy and creaky. Cleaning person entered room after I asker her to come back later.

    The reception was good. The room was clean and well ordered.

    The room was extremely noisy - impossible to open the window because of noise coming from the locality. Also breakfast was notuntil 8pm and I needed to have left by 7.30am

    clean, cheap, in apparently safe area, helpful friendly staff, excellent shower pressure, good TV, unique breakfast arrangement in cellar/restaurant!

    due to security access sometimes difficult, room very small, poor wardrobe space, small sink and no plug, mirror far too low to shave with, invalid shower leaked through door seal

    Comfy bed. Digital TV. Very clean. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Easy to find from Borough Tube station. Close to the Centre of Town. Great Value.

    Having to go outside and then down to a basement restaurant for breakfast. The room was very small, the walls were a bit thin, but it was adequate enough for one night. A bit of traffic noise from the main road outside.

    the member of staff at check in was very polite

    the shower in our room leaked all over the floor in the bathroom and when we both sat on one of the single beds it broke in half !!!! - someone on the staff very kindly hammered another piece of wood to it !!!

    "very good, very friendly, and the Director was very kind to my mother who does a lot of work with orphans in Egypt." (108025203)

    The room was exceptionally clean and the staff very very friendly. My mum and aunt very much enjoyed their stay and will definately return sometime again in the future . thank you

    only the stairs they had to walk up quite a few which tired them out a bit.

    Excellent Location. Staff very friendly & helpful. When we arrived one of our rooms was not quite ready. The Boss who was very nice courteous man brought us next door to the Restaurant & told the 5 of us to eat & drink what we liked. He was very apologetic

    Friendly staff, and enjoyed the Breakfast in the Iranian Restaurant in the basement.

    It was not a problem for us, but no lifts might be a problem for old people.

    "The hotel was clean but it wasn't up to the standard of hotel i would usually stay in. The shower head was broken, the room was absolutley tiny & the walls were paper thin. We only used the hotel as a place to leave our clothes because we were out all night so in that respect it was acceptable. But if i was staying in London for more than one night or if i was someone who went to bed early i definitely wouldn't stay there again." (97036852)

    very clean hotel, nice attractive bedsheets, the hotel modern looking and not at all shabby, breakfast better then advertised (scrambled eggs as well as continental choice)

    room was a bit small (3 beds of tripple room were touching each other, though we were able to pull them apart.

    the hotel was clean and staff very persoable. breakfast was good even though it was continental

    the television did not work properly the picture was poor and i could only recieve one channel out of 5. there was a complaint that whilst i was using the shower it was leaking into anotherhroom however there was a lot of renovation going on which made it very noisy. i would stay there again though.

    "Guests need to be signposted to the temporary entrance - I was left not knowing how to get into the hotel! After a late night, I didn't actually make it down for breakfast, but in any case, it was not clear where it was served, apparently involved going out of the building, round the corner, and down to some basement! The room was nice & unusually contained a fridge, and a bowl of fruit. I had to ask about getting into the hotel when returning late at night, and was told that the reception is manned until midnight, but guests returning after this time had to ring one of two mobile numbers on the door of the hotel. This seems to be rather inconvenient and, as a lone female guest, a bit risky. Luckily someone happened to be there to let me in when I returned. However, all staff were really polite and I would stay here again as it is a convenient location for my purposes and is good value for money for London." (97607767)

    The room was very nice. Nice touch to have a bowl of fruit included. Good value for money. Good facilities.

    Having to cart my bag up endless flights of stairs to get to the room on the top floor. Unpleasant food/cabbage smell in the reception and on stairs. It appears that the reception to the hotel is being re-decorated, and you have to enter the hotel round the corner. There was no sign on the door to let guests know where they were meant to go. Arrangements for getting into the hotel when returning late at night.

    THe staff were friendly. THe location of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to someone on a budget who only needed the very basic amenities.

    The toilet seat in our room was broken and the beds were very squeaky.

    CONVEINIENT TO OUR DESTINATION

    THE FILTH. NO LIFTS NO DISABLED FACILITIES UNCOMFORTABLE BED. WHY IS THERE A FULL SIZE SINK UNIT 6 KITCHEN CUPBOARDS NO DRESSING TABLE WHY!! THE SHOWER NIS HOLDING LOTS OF DISGUSTING GERMS IT WAS BLACK DIRT AND PINK FILTH IN IT THE SKIRTING BOARDS AND PAINWORK WAS BLACK

    Location. Very convenient as an overnight stop.

Strange set-up in that we had to go to the back door to check in, and breakfast was in an Iranian Restaraunt round the corner, strange 'continental breakfast' which comprised of lots of toast, tea or coffee and 'egg' which turned out to be an omlette!     "There was a much quicker way to walk to the Hotel from Waterloo station than the one shown on the map. Admittedly it was back streets, but it knocked 10 mins of the walk. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the cleanliness of the hotel was good (except for the hair on the floor of the room and the dust under the bed. Breakfast was adequate, but not strictly speaking a Continental breakfast" (99998642)

    The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room on the whole was very goo. Floor of the room could have been swept/vacuumed better

    Because of the alterations Reception wasn't immediately obvious and you had to walk around the outside of the hotel to go for breakfast. OK for us as weather was dry, not too good had it rained

    nice to have fruit available instead of the usual biscuits. nice en-suite with working plumbing. bit hard to fill up the (tall) kettle. Nice ot have an electric fan in the heat.

    the bed fell to pieces in the middle of the night. it was a nut missing, and alreeady bent. the TV was unsafely precarious.

    Friendly staff and helpful, beds were clean and comfy.

    accomodation in general was dirty. Many flights of stairs. Breakfast was a bit chaotic to start with as there was no-one to greet us when we arrived at the dining room. Overpriced for what you actually got!

    "Parece mejor de lo que en realidad es. No deberia llamarse hotel sino hostal, y esta muy mal indicado el como llegar, puesto que no es tan facil encontrarlo.
