  Well presented room - staff friendly on arrival

  Quality of food in restaraunt at dinner and breakfast not quite of the standard I would expect from the hotel - service in the morning particularly poor - staff seemed more focussed on preparing for some corporate business type event. Reception staff at checkout badly organised - your receptionist clearly couldn't operate the card payment system - my card was rejected twice even though there was nothing wrong with it and I have ended up paying twice - now in dispute to reclaim.

  fairly limited a la carte menu - however, food was excellent.

  Roomy, comfortable beds, well kept, very pleasantly surprised. We statyed in the Family villas. An exceptional value!

  "Any amendments to the published times for availability of services, especially out of season or when the hotel has few guests.Lack of any food service , outside room service, before 10pm on day of arrival. Superb facitilites let down by overall disappointing service." (3304156642)

  Excellent facilities - roomy accommodation.

  Overall service by staff in all areas except on reception. Not enough staff in attendance - lone bar staff trying to cope with serving drinks, ordering bar food and then delivering food. This affected both residents, passing trade and users of the fitness facilities. 20 mins to get a pint of Guiness! Food order arriving before food! Wine List - very sparce - no rose wines listed, the only sparkling wine was not available - asked to choose again then forgotten about for 15 mins. Would expect a hotel chain of this size to have more than approx 24 bottles on their wine list.

  "Excellent hotel with very friendly and courteous staff. The prices in the restaurant and the bar are a little on the expensive side although considering it's a 4 star hotel, this isn't a surprise. I'll definetely be staying there again. Nice pub down the road as well though called Bit & Bridle with lovely food at cheap prices if you don't want to eat at the hotel." (2523483)

  Great room, very friendly and efficient staff along with beautiful surroundings, both inside and outside the hotel.

  The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side although the food and service are excellent there. Hand basin in bathroom is slightly too small when trying to fill the kettle for a cup of tea or coffee, so kettle can only be filled halfway. Shower has no glass round it, so floor does tend to get very wet when shower is on.
